It was a wonderful experience. The entire family enjoyed the tour. We learned a lot about the war and even more about Evansville. We were privileged to have met Allen Sanderson. His knowledge and experience made our trip more memorable. He is a wonderful man.

There is a lot of information here and the guides are very enthusiastic. They took us around, gave an overview of the war effort in Evansville, then we were encouraged to go back through on our own.

Fantastic place. The volunteers were extraordinarily informed and excited to share their museum. Barbara gave us a tour, and her energy and enjoyment showed. Great exhibits and really outlines what was going on in Evansville during WWII. Thanks Barb

Great area museum. Small but still a lot of things to see. We came in a day when a B17 bomber was available for touring. Both were great!

A great museum with super friendly staff. Theres always new things arriving every month so it never looks the same. WWII mash vehicles, a Higgins boat from the LST, purple hearts and medallions, E for excellence flags, and materials from the famous Evansville shipyard are just a few of the things youll find here. Admission is super cheap as well. So definitely stop by one Saturday or Sunday.
