First time here. Seems like a nice park. Strange name though.

This park is full of so many good childhood memories for me. Growing up in Escondido. I remember coming here and playing with my little brother and cousins. It’s sad to have seen some of the original equipment removed but I understand for the safety. But to have the park in great conditions when I was growing up and the part it played in my life I’m thankful.

Nice, quiet & peaceful. Plenty of places to park your car in the shade. The only drawback Id like to add is that there is only one toilet for males and (Ill assume) one toilet for women. If the place is crowded that can obviously lead to problems. We need to encourage the city to place at least maybe 2 outhouses. That would solve that problem.

Big area. Its big enough yo have a party theres a decent amount of grass here. The bathrooms mm their usally clean but its a little difficult to get toilet paper/to unroll the toilet paper to use it. The button that is used to flush the toilet doesnt work smoothly (from my experience in the mens/boys bathroom. Theres a little back area that has a lot of dirt and sand, good for rc cars and theres also a 2 or 3 trails you can walk/run on. Theres also a nice playground for the little kids to play in/on. And for the teens this park is big enough to wonder around and hang out. Theres little spots where its not so visible to the rest of the people around. Towards the afternoon/ in the night up on the little hill theres a spot that you can stand at and have a nice view and take pictures for those of you that are interested. And or take/do photography.All in all I recomend coming here to have a little picnic or to just hang out or possibly bring your children here so they can play.

Wish people would clean up after themselves. But overall a nice park.

Great place to picnic very shady and quiet mostly. Plus the r.c. car track is a blast to race around.

Has a great little RC track...

Not crowded. Upper parking lot chained off from cars so my grandson could drive his little toy Jeep.

Come watch the future baseball players of the Padres!Also enjoy a delicious cheese burger with all the trimmings! Daily barbeque available.

Beautiful park, small trails you can walk or run, place to bring your kid with a play gym and swings quiet environment.

Fields are well kept and the sportsmanship is top notch.

The park is large and beautiful plenty of green grass for families.

Always family friendly and great hiking trails

Great family park, has open grass area and play ground for younger children. Has an open baseball field that can sometimes be used if not scheduled to be used by Little League teams. Has public restrooms as well. This park is used heavily, has large shade trees, but will most often not be available due to large parties that block off parts of the park for planned BBQs. If you want use of this shade an public picnic tables you have get there before 6am.

Awesome RC course. Ramps, track, worth the trip.

Good Park nice scenery kids can enjoy and have fun the only problem that I see is the people do not clean after themselves when they finish their parties they leave a lot of trash behind that could potentially be dangerous two children and even other animals that are native to the area

Needs some work, otherwise i like how the baseball field is next to the playground, makes it easy with a bunch of kids running around.

Great local park, rarely busy during the week. No water fountain.

Some shaded areas, plenty of parking, bathrooms availabe when unlocked, two small play structures are best for 8 years old and under. Relatively safe but sketchy characters ocasionally appear.

I like this park. It is close to our house and kids school.i tv is never too crowded except the baseball season .
