This is a well maintained and cared for mobile home park. It is a relatively quiet place with friendly people. Theres also a nice pool and spa, which arent used much, so theyre in good shape. Overall, a nice place to live if youre a senior citizen and desire this kind of atmosphere.

Bull... this Carefree Ranch has completely stolen my Moms Belongings and every Memorial of her life and my personal Belongings that I treasered.. Jim is a no good, murmor that gives prayer with slurs of blah blah blaw... i will Never be listen to this eo called religion...

As a Realtor and a Manufactured Sales Agent I deal with many Mobile Home parks and park managers, Carefree Ranch is one of my favorite parks. The space rent is one of the most reasonable ones in North County and the park approval procedure is the most fare; Management will look at the whole picture instead of just numbers. The park has a mixture of older homes and newer homes, it is located within walking distance to stores and it has a bus stop at the entrance of the park. The park has a small unit at the entrance of the park for those that need accommodations for a short time while transitioning in/out of the park or for visiting family members. There is a pool/Jacuzzi/clubhouse and laundry facilities. The park has just upgraded to new SDG&E meters and has plans to make more upgrades to the park within the near future.

Quiet 55 and over community. Grounds are very well kept.

My longtime girlfriend has lived here for several years and over that time when I visit her the community has been quiet and peaceful, she feels safe and secure and loves the community, her neighbors, just a nice place to live for very little cost!

Not really any peace in any of these 55+ retirement park communities because the management and/or the homeowner association is generally in-your-face over one thing or another. In San Diego County, only one retirement community I know of abides by California civil procedure rules of engagement with the tenant, that is Lawrence Welk. Really no different renting a place anywhere, especially in San Diego, because courts and law enforcement in San Diego will not rule in favor of tenant rights.

We are living here for more than 8 years and we love living here.
