We lived here for roughly 3 months(end of Jan - middle of April 2003) after leaving the Army/FT Bliss. We moved to Idaho at the end of April after enlisting having enlisted in the Air Force. It was the only place we could afford at the time. I had just left the Army after 10 yrs of service and had a little money saved up. I worked unarmed security for Sun City Security in El Paso. The job did not pay much starting out but it helped pay the bills. The trailer we rented was #318. It was old but not falling apart. It just need a little some minor repairs. I believe it was a double wide trailer. It did have a problem with roaches. Neighbors were a bit rowdy at times with their music. But never got too crazy where we would have to call the cops. Our cat had lots of fun with those roaches though. lol! Those roaches were huge! Scared the hell out of us. Especially the flying ones. The property manager/owner at the time was really helpful. I had told him I was a veteran. He really went out of his way to help us out moving in. We had oversized furniture from the house we had previously. Couch /among other pieces of furniture did not fit through the door. So seeing this he had some of his maintenance guys remove the end piece facing the inside of the trailer park removed. No serious issues during our time living here. Only problem that sticks in my mind and we still laugh about today was the the first time we kicked on the A/C unit. It spat out so much dust/debris we had to run out so we didnt have to breath in this stuff. lol! Overall it was a decent place for the rent we were paying. Neighbors were decent hard working folks. During our short time there we never had any issues with anyone breaking into our trailer/cars.
