Playing is not just for kids! This was really great fun to do. Bought the tickets on discount (which they usually seem to be) and roamed in my birth city with 3 other locals. It took some time to initially set up and one player could not be easily connected, but after we figured that out and also how the challenges and photo tasks work, it was quite enjoyable. It was interactive and each player had a role. Not only did we get lots of steps in, we also learnt a lot about Cape Town that we did not know previously. We scurried from one place to the next, starting at the City Hall and finishing off at the Castle. We were very competitive; it felt like an amazing race and we ended up on top of the leader board (out of 2... haha). Would definitely love to do this while traveling other cities and it would be great to see longer or more varied routes. Will think about purchasing a ticket for the next adventure.

This was super fun! We did the bachelorette party package. It definitely could have been smoother in syncing up our phones, but all in all it was a good experience.Quick tip: A few locations in we rented some scooters, which are available in our city. It made a HUGE difference! Definitely worth it!

Nice way to see the city- lots of variety - coast, gardens, history, inner city. Brings you relatively back to the same spot. I am an android user and had no issues at all with the app. Paused it many times to explore areas further and eat lunch. Liked the questions at each point and the option to find places yourself or spend points for directions. Didnt like the photo challenges but they were easy enough to bypass. Good length- took us most of the day. Will definitely be doing another one.

Would not recommend. We did this with a group and unfortunately this was not what we expected. We all used our own device and it seems they didnt end up talking to each other as they were meant to - one person would take the requested group photo and it wouldnt upload across all devices and move onto the next step unless everyone took a group photo to move on. Was pretty let down by the whole experience. Lucky we had a good group of people to make the experience fun together. Would have been better to explore without this in our opinion.

This is AMAZING!I highly recommend it for all people of all ages who enjoy a good adventure and dont get bored easily. Awesome get-to-know-places kind of thing. This was super fun. Such a great way to learn about the city. The kids loved it also. Easiest way to get them outside AND on their phone at the same time, not to mention the exercise that they got without realising it. Everyone who saw us doing the tour asked questions and helped us out, right down to opening the fire station for a quick free tour. We plan on doing this on every city that we can on our upcoming tour. Recommended.

The lack of a proximity feature and distance/direction indicator proved to be frustrating. We relied on Google maps several times for guidance to the next location. Once at the locations the hunt was enjoyable and educational. Three generations enjoyed our leisurely stroll through the campus of Arizona State University.

Weve done 3 so far. One in Kalamazoo, MI and two in Columbus, Ohio. I bought a season pass for 2020 so we plan to do more. Were an older couple and find it invigorating. Yes. It is a lot of walking..especially if you goof up and have to re-trace your steps. Also, you need to look carefully for clues. Sometimes you think its not there but it is. It doesnt always smack you in the face. You have to look around and do it quickly. Ask people. Yes. We do that. Weve found locals like to help when they see you looking for something. Too bad if thats against some rule. We get stumped. But weve found things we never would have and sometimes our mistakes take us somewhere wonderful and unexpected like a German Biergarten we found when we went the wrong way. So we paused the game, had a beer and laughed about ourselves. Id also like to add that larger phones are best for viewing the picture clues because sometimes little details in the photos are bigger hints than you realize.

Absolutely a hoot! We went as a family..5 if us including a stroller and even though the day was cold we enjoyed. A good walk and lots of details we would have never noticed. Heading out in 2 weeks for another hunt.

Interesting app. Want to get out of the house and need something to do. Go on a treasure around your town or somewhere nearby. Good way to avoid being a couch potato. Exercise both your body and your brain.

This was a super fun scavenger hunt. I’m at San Diego local and learned new things about San Diego. It’s beautiful locations and a great run/walk. Would absolutely recommend it. Can’t wait to do more on this app. There’s several different scavenger hunts to choose from for San Diego. Can’t wait to do another.

We’ve done 2 hunts so far and they have both been fun, although not extremely challenging as a real “hunt”. The team and personal challenges increase the fun a great deal. Good for couples and many are good for the entire family.

My small group had fun seeing sights in Louisville KY and being together. Seems better geared to team competition or families with kids. The process and app are not fully intuitive and my app froze a lot.

We did a scavenger hunt in downtown Houston. Was definitely fun. I enjoyed wandering around and getting to know the historic buildings in the area better. Definitely a must try activity.

We got the first question wrong but got things going after that. Had a great time along the way. We had to play with one phone since we were unable to add any other players. Hoping we figure out that step for our next hunt. Overall exciting to wander with purpose. Great app.

Fun scavenger hunt. The app is a bit clumsy and I wish I had understood all the features before we started our hunt. Also the pictures show up weird in the app. Otherwise it was a fun way to spend an afternoon

This was a lot of fun! The hunt was supposed to be 1.6 miles, but we walked much more than that. Overall it was great.Remember to have your phone fully charged and consider bringing a back up battery.

Tried a scavenger hunt in Annapolis today. It was quite enjoyable and I even learned a thing or two. The only thing I would improve is to have the instructions give you a a better idea of where you stand when you get to a new location, since some of them are quite large and your points are based on how quickly you can find the challenge information. Also I couldnt figure out how to download pictures on my Android phone but my friend with an iPhone was able to do it with ease. Still, I am very interested in trying some of the other scavenger hunts in other cities.

This was an anniversary gift to my husband. We did our first hunt as a family on New Year’s Day and it was an unforgettable experience. The app is easy to use during the scavenger hunt but we’re a little confused on how to start another hunt after purchasing the annual pass out how to use holiday role upgrade.

Scavenger hunt was fun since it was a different date night option, but app was pretty buggy and map they gave you to find the next stop was unreadable. I think this was definitely something more for daytime rather than night since it had us go away from the main street and more all over the neighborhood. I also purchased the date night package and it really didnt have anything that suggested romance or date.

This was a fantastic activity. We as a school staff used the app and undertook the marvellous Melbourne hunt..! Highly recommended.

Did our 2nd scavenger hunt in Key West. Had a blast!! Was able to enjoy a drink between clues. The photo treasures were a blast. A bit challenging at times but were able to complete. Would recommend and plan on doing again!!

It was nice weather and we had a good walk. Turns out I’m not that great at counting architectural details. Make sure you put enough time on the parking meter we didn’t but it made it more exciting at the end!

Great for getting out and exploring. Was able to see some history and also some beautiful art/flowers! The only downfall and reason I give it 4 stars was at one point there was a lot of walking with nothing in between... wishing there was something between the two places to break up the the long walk. From the moment I purchased a customized birthday package for a bar hunt from Lets Roam, I had a feeling Id made a mistake. Their customer service is slow to respond via email and hard to communicate with over the phone. I had specific questions and was given general answers all along the way. When the bar hunt writer reached out to me to customize my plan, he had the details of my purchase completely wrong, and then told me the level of customization that was promised me online wasnt an option. What exactly did I pay for?This is all before the hunt even started. Unfortunately, one of the bars we were sent to on the hunt permanently closed 1.5 months ago. Two of the bars werent open during the day, which is an issue for a program that prides itself on flexibility of timing.Ive proactively reached out along the way to ask questions and offer feedback for improvement, but mostly I just wish I had spent my money elsewhere. Wont be coming back, and wont be recommending this company to anyone.

The Plano, TX scavenger hunt was a little lame. I’m sure that other cities would be a lot more fun. I love the concept and the idea of working together. We did have to call customer service because we messed up when we were picking our characters- customer service was extremely helpful and fast.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was terrible. There needs to be better explanation of the scoring and how the time works. Several team members couldnt even complete the hu t, and twice we showed up to destinations and the app had already scored us as a 0. I would not recommend this to anyone.

No need to pay for more than one player in a group. We had five players, and I had expected each one to be able to participate in a unique way, so I bought 5 tickets. That is not the case at all. It’s the same question for every single player, and if someone’s phone dies, the suggestion from customer support is to quit the challenge. The font on the screen was so tiny, it is difficult to read. Very cumbersome to set up for multiple players. There is nothing interactive about the app. You are just basically reading things on a screen. I could’ve figured that out just by googling a fountain or something. I wasted $55

Great afternoon fun learning a new city! I wasnt sure what to expect, but this was a fun walk around the city learning something and doing fun activities along the way! Im looking forward to doing one in my local city.

This was SO MUCH fun!!! Did this in downtown Tampa for a friends birthday. All of us were natives but still learned tons about Tampa that we didn’t know. Will be doing this again!!!

What A Treat ! Originally Planned To Do Centennial Park But Unfortunately There Was Construction And The Park Was Closed. I Contacted Customer Support And They Promptly Credited The Tickets Back To My Account So That We Could Choose A Different Hunt. We Spontaneously Chose The Athens Hunt. Having Never Been To The City This Was The Perfect Way To Learn The History And Experience The Local Culture. The Hunt Definitely Encourages Participation And Engagement With Your Team. Highly Recommend !

We had a lot of fun exploring Melbourne Australia! The challenges were fun and we liked finding all the locations. Our only feedback would be that it was not very clear with the app how everything was scored and the timing/guidance could be a bit clearer. Some parts need to be completed quite quickly and we found it wasnt always clear... The timer would count down sometimes and up other times - it took a little while to get our heads around this. If this were tweaked, feel like it would be very deserving of 5 stars!

Went to the State Capital in Boise,Idaho after purchasing the scavenger hunt and downloading the app on my daughters phone. The directions to start the hunt would never load . We called and talked to customer service and was not able to ever make the app or directions work. We finally just asked for a refund. Hope to see her money back. Poor business and customer service.

All in all this was a fun and unique experience. I enjoyed exploring parts of St. Louis. My only complaint is the timer during a challenge. It gives you maybe 1 minute to find something which isnt a lot of time depending on where you are at the spot. We also had to do a video challenge that we couldnt get to work and had to skip it. Other than that I recommend trying it

Wanted to do something different for a Sunday family outing and this was PERFECT! We got to explore the city and see parts of it we have never seen before. We took our 3 kids, 11, 8 and 7, along and they had the best time helping us along the way. Highly recommend!!

Disappointing and honestly a waste of money. Other than a few fun historical facts there was nothing challenging or exciting about this. We basically paid to walk around the city looking at our phones. It could be so much better but you kind of get the feeling the course was designed by someone overseas using Google/Google maps. Just completed an awesome scavenger quest around Orlandos City Hall area. The app had lots of fun stops, random side quests or trivia and photo contest that my teenage boys would actually complete because it was worth extra points. Awesome way to spend 2 hours sightseeing and with family!

Had a great time doing this scavenger hunt in Miami. My only suggestion would be to circle it at least half way back to the starting point.

We did the Chicago Ghost Hunt on our first day here. Not at all scary; just a fun way to explore the city beyond the Magnificent Mile and/or The Loop. We did it with our 11-year old, who thought it was interesting in a good way. Got a lot of walking in and really enjoyed the afternoon. Would definitely recommend to folks who like to walk and explore.

Did the Kalamazoo roam. Lots of fun and learned some things too. Do NOT pay for holiday upgrade. Waste of money and didnt do anything different for the hunt.

I did the Ottawa scavenger hunt. The questions were not only irrelevant, like counting the steps on a building, but some of the questions were blatantly incorrect. For example, the Notre Dame Cathedral Spires were build 10 something years after the cathedral, which was what the question was asking, but its answer was based off of when it was designed. The question, plus others, were unclear. The path had us going in circles. It was just so badly designed, it was begging us to share pictures. It was just frustrating the whole time.Not a good experience.

Great time. We took a group of 12 and it was fantastic! I recommend doing it in the daylight. You will walk a out 2 to 2.5 miles.

The app is terrible! Did not work after we paid for our tickets and some of our team had to purchase the tickets TWICE. I was told Customer service would be available, but they were not.I had invited a large group, and this was painful and embarrassing.If you have a small group and time to kill waiting for customer service, and want to spend doubleon the tickets because the app fails, give this a try.

We did the Old Towne East tour and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this little adventure and plan to do it again with the kids!

Great fun! Ive done two of these...once as a day out with my daughters and once as a date with my husband. Both times we had a great time. Great way to get exercise while youre learning about an area familiar to you or a new place you end up at. We did both in areas close to where we live and found some really cool random places we never knew existed. I cannot wait for our next adventure!!!️
