Small park by the South Platt River with lots of green spaces. Ideal for taking a walk or jog. While the park itself isnt that spectacular, its nice that there are several parks like this one along the South Platt River trail and they form a really nice green belt for runners and cyclists.

My partner and I stopped here to eat our take-out at sunset. It was absolutely gorgeous. The amount of green space is really impressive for a park in the heart of downtown! We didnt see any tables to eat at, but there were plenty of benches! Youll see lots of runners and walkers, some people hooping, volleyball, people fishing and playing in the Platte river. The golden light reflecting off the buildings was truly a beautiful setting for our dinner date. Ive been to this park before and there is always so much life! Highly recommend.

Located in the heart of downtown Denver Commons Park is a great place to hang out and have a picnic or just relax with friends. This park has some really cool art structures that make great pictures and plenty of grass areas to hang out and relax. With union station just steps away, a skate park located just north of this park and water access area to the south of this park it is a great place to visit when coming to downtown Denver.

Great place to walk and enjoy nature. As I walk I am always greeted by baby rabbits running through the trails and the squirrels will literally sit in your lap. I walk about 7 miles a day at this park and it is incredible to sit by the water.

This once admirable park in the past was a nice place to enjoy the last natural scenes Denver had to offer. It soon became inhabited by homelessness and trashy behavior. Not long after they were chased out by city officials and prosecuted for their lifestyles. Since it had no use, the rich then infested and decided self-entitled ownership who deny and defy anyone who doesnt seem to have money. Aside from those facts, its still beautiful aside from the citizens.

Beautiful place, its like an oasis in the middle of the city. Great place to play with your dog and an awesome oportunity to let him or her get into the water. Its remarkable that being so close to the city you can get so in touch with nature if you give this place the right amount of time. This park is what I think of when someone mentions “Denver.” The seamless integration of natural and urban paradise left me speechless. Coming from a very proud Dallasite, I hardcore respect Denver’s urban park culture.

Fantastic park that contains the South PlatteRiver Trail which makes for an absolutely fantastic walk around the city with amazing wide and well marked paved paths that allow bikes, scooters, and pedestrians alike. Went after a snow storm a couple days before and a large majority of the paths had the snow cleared. Worth a visit if you’re in downtown.

This is basically a nice trail following the South Platt River and all of the “parks” are interconnected (you’ll walk through Fishback, Confluence, etc., without any noticeable transition.) Excellent for biking, jogging or walking your dog, but not a park if you want a large space for soccer, picnics or other related activities. Well kept—no dog poo! It is possible to go quite a long way—even down to the Stadium—and you can start up one side, cross over the bridge, and return the other.

Visited on the Spin Scooters and rode through the park. The grass is beautifully maintained and the rocks/benches are beautiful. Sidewalks are decent although there are some areas where you could easily trip or catch a scooter/bike tire. The trashcans under the bridge were also overflowing and mixed with the water made a nasty smellOther than those things, beautiful.

Beautifully renovated area of LoDo. Plenty of room for bikers, hikers, and pets to make it where they are going. The waterways are peaceful and while there are a lot of people traveling the paths, it doesnt feel crowded. Also, there are public facilities available for use in more than one spot. That is a HUGE plus to me, because pets arent the only living creatures who need to stop for a break now and then.
