I loved LA RAZA COMMUNITY PARK (not Columbus Park). We went to a petition signing to officially change the name of the park to what it should be--representing the community it is in; not a deplorable oppressor. This lovely park has walkways, plenty of trees & grads, eye-catching flowers, a playground, 2 basketball ½ courts and a cool, raised gathering area with a colorful ceiling.
It was a beautiful peaceful night old naber hood to get some air and think!!! main Hood Hood Hood
After going to buy our Chubbys we went to this park to eat and talk....it was great because i havnt seen my auntie in forever...
Nice park. You can feel the culture all around. Especially as its name will be changed to La Raza park.
Its a nice quiet park. Awesome artwork in the central pavillion! Needs more cleaning though. Often trash laying around.
Better known as LA RAZA PARK. Lots of Latin activity at this park.
One of the best parks Ive been to. They were clean and just absolutely peaceful
Good service during covid. Super busy drive thru. Lobby is only open 9am - 4pm m-f
Its actually La Raza Park only Christopher I acknowledge is Wallace!
How can we get a petition going to get this name changed. This is La Raza park.
Ive always loved this park, I remember when they used to call it La Raza Park back in the day.
THIS IS FOR LA RASA CHINGONE
Not many comfortable places to poop. Grass was nice though.
I dont know, I was at La raza
Very chill park. Cool to hang out at if chilling in car or want to get active. Sometimes Im lazy and I want to be outside buy dont feel like being active. I go outdoors and sit with all the doors or windows open. Haha this is a cool spot to do that
Clean park. Lots of grass area, and a pretty awesome playground. There are picnic benches and basketball court too.
Should call it La Raza park again
Lots of shade, a playground, and beautiful art. Few tables, but often hosts local events.
Came here for the Northside! play. Loved it, being around all my fellow Northsiders was like coming home! Side note: its La Raza Park.
Its good park. To enjoy the day .
Great park for kids and adults. Basketball court available and lots of space.
This is La Raza Park!
Good part to set relax with the kids enjoy your nice afternoon under the trees and enjoy the sun and the weather better than good purchase said relax with the kids enjoy your nice afternoon under the trees and enjoy the sun in the weather headed box tell others why you love this post battery 32
I love this park
La Raza park is always a fun time, been in the Northside for generations, has been through the Crusade, Chicano Rights and racial injustices from the DPD. La Raza Unida
It was fun playing bball
It has so much potential... But it is a bit dirty with some homeless that need help. The grass is green and healthy and the playset is great if a bit beat up by teenagers... A good place for a Saturday or Sunday picnic when the sun is out. I think if more people used it and helped keep it clean it could be so much better.
Quiet. Lots of 4 leaf clover. Peaceful
Very nice park. Too many geese, destroying grass.
Parking challenging. However the park is nice.
I didnt go to Columbus Park. I went to La Raza Park to see Northside, the play.
Just a park, nothing fantastic, there is a basketball court and a playground, nothing more.
This is LA RAZA PARK!, columbus can shove it.
Is a good place to host events
Such an upgrade!
Nice little park. Eat brunch there.
Great location to spend some time outdoors with big trees. I have been here for a Colombian and a Peruvian festival and it has been a great location for the venues. Keep in mind the limited parking around the streets when big festivals are taking place
Northside love
Nice quiet and it has a lot of culture to it... It is on of the last parks that has the Mexican culture all the parks that had that are gone.. so it is nice to see we still have one left...
Ate chubbys there love that park
They got the name wrong to True North Side natives of Denver this park will forever be known as La Raza Park
Its nice clean and quiet
Beautiful and culturally historic park
The park should be called La Raza Park. The mural in the middle is beautiful.
Theyve cleaned up this park pretty well. Its a great place for events.
Peaceful
I love
It was just so so
Great park with heritage
A few large trees. No low branches. Im not one of them just saying if there were more trash cans lining the road the party in your car crowd might go put their trash in it
You mean LA RAZA?!
Best park in Denver for skateboarding and its not a skatepark. Bonus. Cities should realize that a skatepark doesnt have to cost millions more than they need to. A park like this can entertain all walks and cultures. Skateboarding protects that. TY La Raza Park.
Dirty... several beer cans thrown around.
Lack of parking space during the activity.
Sadly, this park is neglected by the city of Denver and the very people it is intended to serve. Fast food trash -- typically Chubbys telltale chile-smeared stapled paper plates or from some other fine establishment -- is consumed in or while parked alongside the park on Navajo or Osage and left on the ground, picnic tables, or dumped from an open car window or door. Throw in dirty diapers, beer cans (Modelo and Tecate seem to be popular) and soda bottles for good measure. You get the picture. The vagrants whove claimed this public property as their own cannot be bothered to pick up after themselves, either.A tragedy-of-the-commons classic. Come see for yourself.
Fun to stroll around when doing laundry.
Nice to get out
Loved it God is Good.
