This Air Museum is located just outside Denver Colorado. It’s packed with lots of different aircraft and the volunteers are very helpful in providing information on each aircraft. The place was open with “ social distancing guidelines in place” they limit the amount of visitors per day and close to clean. the only downside is I wanted to purchase a few t-shirts to take home and they don’t have a actual “Museum “ T-Shirt” I Hope this will corrected soon.

Had a private event here and was amazing. Got to taste really rare whisky in a quite setting with really cool stuff to look at. You probably miss so much walking through, sit at a table and look at fixed craft and you see so much more than an airplane, given an hour next to one, the rivits are even impressive.

There are a ton of aircraft with a few oddballs.....which I like more. You can only see so many of the popular aircraft (B-29s, B-17s, etc) before you lose interest. There are excellent displays and educational rooms where you can lose track of time. I suggest giving yourself 3 hours if you are more of a geek like me or less than 2 hours if you are in a casual group. Staff is helpful and very happy to answer any questions. Well worth a visit!

I thought one really neat displays is the nuclear weapons, Ive studied quite a but about these, but photos dont really do it justice, until you see them in person. I really enjoyed this museum, and would definitely recommend it if you like planes and history

The museum houses an excellent collection of aviation memroblia and aircraft that span many years and eras. Currently limited to a set number of visitors and duration due to Covid-19 protocols, the stroll among the collection was more like a private showing on the Tuesday afternoon visit I made with the 2pm to 4pm group. Parking is ample and free. After your visit walk across to the beer garden at Hangar 2!
