A great view of lake Kenosia with a little garden beIng made out on the waters edge on the grounds of the park. There is also some playground equipment as well as what seems to be a very small water park area for kids during the summer. There is very little walking at this park and it is all either along the garden or the short shore of the lake.

My son likes the splash pad and the fenced in playground is easier for me to chase the little guy around. The lake is pretty nice. It is quiet there, no street noise. Nothing special but pretty good.

Beautiful kids park by the lake. Lots to keep the kids entertained, and built with age appropriation. They also have a spray park that looked like fun. We didnt have the time to go to it though.

Only a brief visit while staying down the street.Really cool to stop by and see the wildlife (birds in my case) that happen to be visiting or passing through.Quiet, and serene nice to stop by and just unwind.

Its a nice park with a lake in it. They have a water spray park for children, a sperate parks with slides and childrens play toys. There is space to play soccer and basketball. The lake is nice to look at no swimming in it though.

Nice park but the the playground is definitely geared towards younger kids and is a little old.

Went to Italian Festival at nearby Amerigo Vespucci lodge. Love the canolis. I go fishing there, used to take my kids to the playground and go swimming. Now a nature preserve.

I dont know about other reviewers here, I think that this place is BEAUTIFUL. Whenever in the area, and have sometime to spend, I will come here. Sometimes for 5 minutes, sometime for 2 hours, it all depends. Love being by the water.

An amazing job has been done with this park, loved every minute of watching our Danbury Soccer Club play on the field now Im enjoying the playground with my grandson. Great views

A relatively modern and clean park and playground next to Lake Kenosia. It contains several ball fields as well as a playground. At one point in time you could swim in the lake, but high levels of bacteria in the water eventually made this dangerous. Instead of a beach, the park has a small nature park with local plants growing near the water. In lieu of a swimming area, the park has a small spray park. While the park is relatively flat, there is no specific path for wheelchairs. The playground itself isnt accessible either, but is new and in good condition. There are only port-o-potties in each area of the park.

Theres something for everyone here - Sports fields, lake access, nature trail, playground, etc. It is a very pleasant and easily accessible retreat from the commercial / light Industrial areas nearby. Great for a nature break.

Large municipal park with a small lake. The park has many assorted playing fields and a good play ground. Its also got an interesting history.

I usually take my break here just to get away from my desk. Usually not busy, pleasant view of the property and water. Plenty of space for kids to play in the playground and a couple of fields to play sports and things for everyone else.

Great place for a picnic or to take the kids and look at the great scenery when the weather is great just a wonderful experience. If your in the the area you definitely have to come out.

Great place to bring your kids or to go fishing.There is a launch ramp right in the park. Nicely maintained fields to play sports, clean playground and a splash park for the little ones.

It was w hot sunny day and no sprinklers

Brought my daughter here for the playground. The park is scenic and well-kept; its nice to picnic and walk around the lake. But the playground itself is so-so, its small and there are not many children anytime weve gone (I know its not the parks fault necessarily, but it is why I bring her there). The equipment is alright but has been there so long that the ground seems to have eroded so the first step up on anything is a stretch for younger kids.

Very nice quiet park. Great for families with kids in the summer. The kids splash zone fountains are running from 10am-2pm.

Always a nice place to visit, in the spring and summer lots of flowers to enjoy.
