JFK Tour is spectacular and an amazing experience. Got to see the key places around downtown and the tour guide was an incredible story teller. The highlight was going in the house where Oswald was rooming and going through the route Kennedys motorcade took the day of his assassination. Bonus was the tour guide pointing us to a couple of restaurants to go to and taking us to the farmers market. Loved it
The guide Lora was fantastic. This was a great tour. Getting to go to each actual site of the experience was awesome. Would recommend this tour to everyone. Thanks!
A great value excursion that should not be overlooked! Both tour & driver were very informative as to points of interest and Dallas generally. It was very hot that day but he kept the (very clean) bus cool & comfortable when we made our stops. The driver (John?) also made some great suggestions for places to eat.
Highly recommend this tour! We came to Dallas with friends for a weekend getaway and decided to book this tour because of the great reviews it has received. John was by far the most knowledgeable, entertaining, and best tour guide ever. We’ve been on a different JFK tour a couple years ago and it didn’t even remotely compare with this one.
We were the first official group to tour with Justin Terveen for his photography tour! It was a great 3 hours of driving to four different locations and taking photos. Justin was very knowledgeable in his location picks and optimal camera settings for each spot. I walked away with invaluable nuggets of information to apply toward my future photography projects. Thanks Justin & Best DFW Tours!
What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. As a history fan, living in Dallas for 15+ year, youd think you had learned everything about Dallas history. I was happy to have learned more details about this vibrant city and how it continues to grow. I will definitely explore the other tours BEST DFW TOURS has to offer in the near future!
Have been to Dallas several times prior, but decided to take a tour after reading all the rave reviews about John and his tours. Did NOT disappoint!! It was great! Saw a few things we had seen before, but the majority of the tour provided so much more! Was well worth it!!
My husband, daughter and I had one day to spend in Dallas and were looking for a tour that gave an overview of the city. After reading several descriptions and reviews of Dallas tours we decided on this one, and we are very glad we did. The tour lasted 3 hours and John our guide was extremely knowledgeable and a wealth of information on this history of Dallas. We saw all the sights as described and had ample time at several stops. The overview of JFKs assassination was so interesting. Our 25 yr. old daughter was with us and while she learned about this in school the tour John provided made the history lessons real. A wonderful afternoon and would highly recommend this tour.
Loved these tours! I took the Best of Dallas tour as well as the JFK tour, and both were filled to the brim with fun facts and surprises. My tour guide, Darlynda, was polite and had a sense of humor that Carol Burnett fans will thoroughly enjoy. As someone who is in the process of moving to Dallas, the tours gave me a more in-depth knowledge of my future surroundings, and I feel as if I could now impress my friends with how much I know about seemingly unimportant buildings around town. There are a number of other tours they offer, all of which I am planning to attend. I would highly reccomend taking any of them if they follow in the footsteps of these two!
Took the 3 hour best of Dallas tour, John was our guide. It was the best tour i have been on. John really knows a lot of facts as well as he is able to show the best places. I would highly recommend this tour.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. John is an excellent host, knowledgeable and really good at what he does. Best 3 hours, so worth it! Thanks John!
Visiting Dallas for a bachelorette weekend. Some of us have been to Dallas and others not. This tour was fantastic! Tour guide was knowledgeable and not only new the history of the city but where it is going. Tour the 6th floor museum first then do the tour because the tie in a few JFK items. Would recommend and would book a tour again!
Had a great experience on a weekend. I’ve lived in Dallas for 35 years and this is my first city tour. The guide was top notch and the experience was a lot of fun and very informative. A few weeks later I had an out-of-town visitor and I sent her on the store and she really enjoyed the experience. In particular the inside look at Lee Harvey Oswald’s De and IT were just boarding home was pretty cool
We took the Christmas Lights Tour and I was so happy we could enjoy it as a family, as we were all able to relax in the comfy tour bus. Our children (and us) were in awe of all the non-stop, beautiful display of lights in Highland Park, where all the fancy homes are. Our guide was very friendly and we got to learn things about the city we didn’t know about even though we live 25 min away. Also during the tour we made a stop at a great chocolate store, Chocolate Secrets, where we all had a complimentary chocolate of our choice, a glass of champagne for adults and great tasting hot chocolate for the kids. It was a wonderful experience!
This tour was great! John was a perfect guide, really fun and knowledgeable. We recommend highly.
Fantastic tour, very thorough! Our tour guide was fun, and she was also very knowledgeable. Perfect for all ages and health conditions!
This tour was excellent! John, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. Our whole family, even our 15 and 13 year old sons, loved it! 3 hours welost spent.
Great tour, very informative! Our tour director was very entertaining and full of cool facts about Dallas.
Best part of visit to Dallas. Great job John!
John our guide was fabulous, he was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very entertaining. We learned a lot and had a great time.
My group of 5 truly enjoyed the JFK Assassination tour on Friday, February 22nd. John was the best guide. We learned so much about the assassination with bonus info about the city of Dallas. So glad we picked DFW Tours.
I just got done with the Best of Dallas Tour--it was phenomenal! I got to see areas of the city I never would have on my own. Since it was a Monday afternoon, no one else signed up for the tour, but John (?) ran it anyway, so I had my own private tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and each of the stops, so it was a constant informative running commentary. He was also very personable, so it was more like driving around Dallas with a friend from town. Just when I thought Id learned everything about the city, we got into some of the behind the scenes stops about Oswald which blew me away! This was worth every penny--Id recommend it being the first thing you do when you come to town so you know where to go back during your stay.
Quite descriptive, and our tour guide Darlene (hope I remembered the name right) was great.
We took this tour despite having lived in Dallas for several years. We didnt know much about JFK assassination, so we decided to take the JFK tour. John is an extremely knowledgable guide, not just of the city, but of JFK and the incidents following his assassination. He will take you through the route Lee Harvey Oswald took, back to his Rooming House and you will get a tour of the actual house, left intact thru all these years. We also had several stops with many photo opportunities, all with guided commentary from John in great detail. Definitely worth taking.
Great JFK tour with John. Plus, he added a little Dallas city tour that was terrific.
One of the best tours I have been on.
