We love this theater. The shows are almost always fun, new or old. Best of all, the actors are only a few feet away.

Its always magical. Everyone needs to go to see shows at the Underlain. Local theater at its finest. 36 years and counting.

Small, intimate venue and really well performed, designed and overall executed shows. I have seen two here so far and loved both of them. In terms of theater its a much more unique experience than you might get at a more expensive, high-profile show. Will come back as often as I can. (Also highly appreciate the easy parking setup)

Ive been going to Undermain shows for years now. Its the best kind of local theatre in a unique basement space. Productions are always first rate and tend towards newer works from interesting playwrights.

Always have enjoyed this theater. will miss Katherine so much. Her Life lives on through the Undermain.

Google says Ive been here and I dont have the heart to tell Google I was just at the deep ellum arts festival at what I can only imagine was a tent that sold beer. Anyway the undermain theatre is the best theatre,... hopefully Google will free my family now.

Loved the seating layout, it is a circle so you feel like you are inside the play. The seats are comfortable. They have complimentary tea and coffee, but also have some snacks and drinks for sale. Their parking lot is free and very close to the theater. They have signs for the parking. People are very friendly. They start on time. Fun place to go!

It is always cool to see how they use the pillars as part of the set.

Undermain is a nice intimate theater. The acting is terrific. You can see everything unless a column is in the way. And there are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Finally, parking is nearby and is free.

Awesome theater. Saw a show with the wife and loved it. It is underground so it feels a bit off but once you are inside its pretty unique. Small number of seats pretty much guarantees all seats are good seats.

Not only do I attend performances at Undermain Theatre frequently, I also work for the company. I will say it is an amazing date night or night out with friends venue. Wonderful networking opportunities as well.

Great production in an intimate interactive environment. You really felt you were right in the play. Only 4 rows total, so everyone was close to the action.

They have a great team behind the scenes and an excellent cast in the scenes. We greatly enjoy their selections. Unlike most city theaters, they have a convenient parking lot nearby.

A Dallas icon for 35 years

Great venue to see a play. If you never been to see a live production l recommend this place as an excellent introduction for you to experience live theater. For my date it was a new and welcomed change from the usual movie routine.

Basement setting, and black box style immersion. Performers, props and costumes are wonderful. Even got a complimentary glass of wine. It was a wonderful time to say the most to be absolutely honest.

We gave it a five out of five. What a treasure for Dallas. Can,t wait to go to the next production - Three Sisters. Thank you Undermain and everyone who makes it so great..

I had never been to any theatre to see a play to be honest, and this was a great first experience! The Undermain Threatre is located in a really interesting (yet obvious, in retrospect) place, and the environment fits it well. The venue itself is pretty well designed around the building, and although the columns block a bit of the view, the characters more around enough and project well so its not an issue at all. During the intermission, the outside area did get a bit crowded, but nothing bad, and certainly nothing like a bar/nightclub on a weekend night.The play itself I actually really liked, as well as the interesting way it chose to touch on several issues we have now today. Maybe Im reading too much into it. Either way, I enjoyed it quite a bit, despite the initial difficulty of keeping track of the characters due to the nature of the plot having them transfer.Awesome time!
