Cry Havoc is a pretty cool non-profit that presents edgy/topical theater for all Dallas teens. There is a good mix of kids from all high schools in Dallas. The focus is usually topical issues - three of my favorite show have been A History of Everything, A Celebration of Food, and Shots Fired

I give my experience at Cry Havoc 2 stars because I think it is a important for teens toI learn how to create their own art. However, the devised work was repetitive and incoherent. Teens made a limited political statement that was too harsh to successfully change the opinion of someone who thought differently, the show I saw was either an echo chamber or antagonistic. Screaming does not make the show higher energy. These kids are still working on acting technique, and it is a valuable experience for them, but the show I saw was no where near professional quality.
