I came and saw the Shakespeare in the park production of a Shakespearean Christmas Carol! It’s a beautiful venue and there’s tons of seating. This place is seriously so beautiful and if you come during the day you can see the stained glass in action. Honestly? I’d come here just to look at the place but it also happens to be an awesome theater spot and I hugely suggest you take advantage of that!

Intimate performance space in a former church sanctuary. Barely perceptible floor slope helps audience view of stage. The space can be rearranged for other activities. Valet parking for the event we attended was a practical bonus.

I attended a performance of the play Kentucky by Leah Nanako Winkler at Arts Mission Oak Cliff. The venue was perfect for this powerful poignant story of an Asian American family going through milestones in life. The honest, earthy cultural clashes and emotions come from the soul and speak from the hearts of the characters. The talent of the cast was impressive; bringing new life to the beautiful re-purposed building in a neighborhood setting.

I caught the Sunday 11:30 soul flow Yoga class with Lilah. Its new to the neighborhood, but Lilah is not new to yoga. Lots of experience teaching and a great perspective on how to use your flow to tap in the mind/body alignment. A wonderful setting to practice in.

Beautiful space with fantastic events and classes. It’s a for-profit arts space, offering workshops, art and dance classes, and rent the basement for events. It has been recently restored and the owner Anastasia is a sweet, friendly person.
