I attended a play with my daughter during a class field trip and it was phenomenal; however, this post is about the AMAZING Zoom birthday party Ms. Alyssa hosted for my child. We had a blast and so did our guests! She had a wonderful and professional demeanor and led the kiddos through interactive and fun games! I 100% recommend Dallas Childrens Theater all around. Looking forward to enrolling my kids in their classes in the near future!

Great Lone Star Circus show. Super fun night, not a bad seat in the house. Small and intimate so you get immersed in the show.

Such a special place. The shows are well done though the theater seating can be very tight! Stick with the New Years plan to lose 50 lbs and all will be good!

I booked the Gables for a 10hr conference event and it could not have been more perfect. Troy took care of us so incredibly well that our attendees thought he was a close friend of the speakers and a volunteer. We could not have asked for a better experience or a better price. No other venue this size has so much value, and rarely do venues ever care as much as Troy did for us. He even helped us when we were carrying our personal belongings to our cars, and went to the parking lot with us to say goodbye. Every one of our attendees loved the theater and wanted to come back next year. Im pleased to support the theater and all the amazing work they do for the community.

We love bringing our children here and have been doing it for years. The kids also really like summer acting camp at the DCT. Super fun!

Well done performance of Beauty and the Beast Jr.- great adult actors, costumes, and set design. The stairs in the upper middle aisle need better markings - saw an adult and child tumble down stairs with full lights. No food or drink allowed in theater which at least water or capped soft drinks would be nice to have allowed. Also there is no assigned seating, so long line to enter and then mad dash to find seats or people holding seats, etc...need to just assign seats to ease everyones minds. Autograph signing after show by cast in lobby, which quickly gets crowded and long line for main characters makes its daunting for child under 6 yrs old to make it worth the wait.

Super environment for family. Children probably less than 10 would enjoy this the most( at least for the play we saw). Excellent production of the play/ musical.

Great show! My family and I saw the Beauty and the Beast. It was our first time will definitely be returning.

My son had sooo much fun attending a 3 day theatre camp last week. I was hesitant to sign him up but so glad we tried it out. Such a great experience. He came home every day saying how much fun it was. Such a good new experience trying something new. They definitely encouraged the kids and created a really wonderful and creative environment. Highly recommend!

Beauty and the Beast show. Took granddaughter. It was great. Theater was perfect size. No bad seats.

It was our first time going to DCT, and it was for the 50th anniversary of Eric Carles Brown Bear. It was a great production and the facility is nice. Would definitely recommend anyone to give them a visit!

Really lovely theater, tons of displays that your in to each show, staff is also excellent!

Weve been to a few performances here. Our son likes them but as an adult I find them only so so. Acting is amatuer. Stories are so so. But the positive its that the kids see it from a different angle and enjoy.

Saw Beauty and the Beast with the family and it was amazing. Yet another top-notch performance at DCT. Thank you and keep up the excellent work!

We went to watch beauty and the beast, my kids loved it. Nice and clean place with plenty of parking.

This theater is fabulous. We go for the sensory friendly shows because my son is autistic & they make accommodations for those with special needs. There is wheelchair seating. Activities to entertain the kids prior to the show. Monday and Slappy, the clowns, are amazing with the kids. There is even a quiet room in case the kiddos need a break. I highly recommend the theater to any family wanting to give their kids, especially those with special needs, a taste of the theater!!

Best children’s theater ever! Our family for the past 7 years assists to the Christmas shows; great actors, amazing man puppets. I am more than happy to recommend this place . Thanks for the beautiful memories that our family keeps in our hearts ️

Went to see Beauty and the Beast with my daughter and grand daughter, performance was amazing.

Took my 12yr old daughter here provided by Hopekids... she has a love an appreciation for the arts. Had a fantastic time and CiCis gave everyone pizza at intermission.

The play was amazing my daughter and nephew really enjoyed the experience.

This was our first time here. The location is great. The building is clean, nice and well maintained. We went with friends who said the doors are usually opened 30 min before the show. The doors didnt open until 15 min before and the lines were very long. It would be much more convenient to have a small cafe or at least some vending machines but we didnt see either.

They are awesome!! Great place for kids & adults! Classes for kids of all ages and the productions are some of the best in the city!

Our kids have been coming to shows and acting class here since they were 3.5 years old. Its a wonderful place for them to grow and learn about expression and the arts!

Ive taken my grandchildren, ages 7, 5 and almost 2 yrs old to a few plays, theyve enjoyed the selections, always age appropriate. The staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. The staff accommodates toddlers if plays are not age appropriate by allowing parents to bring children to the lobby area and continue viewing on the lobby screen. The ticket pricing is appropriate. Great area for dining afterwards

Went for a 1st grade field trip. Professional and nice, clean place. Actors/actresses were phenomenal. Lighting and special effects were great! Would go again!

I enjoyed the show very much with my family.

We went to see the play Blue with our 3 year old son. The place is very beautiful, clean; they had games at the lobby for the kids to play. Once we entered the theater, it was organized so the kids could sit on the floor with pillows. My son had a great time! He really enjoyed the play. We loved the message from the story, it taught our young ones about diversity. I want to come back soon.

The show Seussical was awesome but the venue was also intimate (every seat is a good seat).

Clean, entertaining, and convenient. We have enjoyed every visit. The venue is just the right size and parking is safe and convenient. Keep up the great work.

Great experience for the children, most plays are based on books, making the connection (reading-theater) amazing! Comfortable seating, good entrance logistics, interesting and enjoyable activities before play. Great place!!

What a gem, took kids to see “Jungalbook” (Junglebook for the rest of us!) it was a fantastic production! The actors were incredibly talented, costumes and set were beautifully done. Just a great place to take the kids for entertainment and to enjoy the arts!

My school worked there for the first time yesterday to see Frosty and Friends. I had a good time. The kids (Pre-K and Kinder) loved it. It wasnt too crowded and I felt like we were important. I cant wait to go back.

DCT provides classes for young actors (preK and up) to get some training and experience and of course to have some fun. The staff provide personal attention to the students and the performances are always memorable.

We have been visit the theater for over 7 years now. All of our children have enjoyed the performances and retell the stories from the plays as fond memories. The Lone Star Circus comes once a year and is a seasonal favorite for the whole family.

Very fun, but helped me learn a tremendous amount too. I would recommend this to all ages and everyone.

Loved it! They had real people for characters instead of puppets. The actors look like the actual book characters. We had an awesome time!
