It is a beautiful venue. Shot part of my music video there. It is very spacious beautiful furniture and nice size dressing room. It looks exactly like the pictures that you see on social media. Highly recommend this place for any occasion. Eric was very nice and accommodating during the whole project.

Rented this space for an hour and the host was extremely helpful! Providing everything we needed from audio access, extra extension cords, projector access and more. The space itself is set up very nicely and we didnt even explore everything it has to offer! When we realized the hour rental wouldnt be long enough they were happy to allow us to extend on the spot and pay the additional fee which was extremely helpful. Would absolutely recommend checking this space out!

My husband and I hosted an event at this location, and the staff was amazing. The venue is gorgeous and it met our needs. People are still talking about the event and we plan to do it again here next year.

I was lucky enough to host an event here, and if youre considering them for your next event, stop searching and just book them already! We had the BEST time, thanks to their staff being both efficient and entertaining! From Jeff the bartender who kept us laughing, to Candias the planner who kept me sane, to Lance the hands-on-deck who kept the space looking immaculate...this is a world-class team. Eric, the owner, was so thorough and quick in his emails, too -- truly an unstoppable force of greatness at Quixotic.

We had our company holiday party at the Quixotic World and it was fantastic! The staff was so helpful. I used one of their event coordinators, Candais, and she was so awesome! She cared so much about the details, which allowed me to be able to enjoy the event with my guests instead of worrying about the schedule and the set up of the event. I highly recommend the entertainment as well! The aerial performer, magician, fortune teller, magician and Austin powers are wonderful and very entertaining. We had our Company party at Quixotic World in January. The venue is very unique and super cool. From the get-go, Eric was always very attentive and helpful. His responses were always quick, answering all my questions and saying YES to all my requests. The on-site crew, Candias and Jeff were friendly, attentive & amazing! Candias, made sure everything was perfect. Jeff served drinks with a smile, and if you were lucky, he added a magic trick. We rented a few games from Game On!, which is in Deep Ellum too. If you need a fabulous venue and/or games, I highly recommend both.

The place is kind of grungy, and it smelled really bad outside of the bathrooms. The stairs to the upstairs lounge look hazardous. Ive seen a bunch of great reviews, and it probably depends on what youve got going on and how low the lights are. The location is great for a venue.

I was married here this past Sunday to the love of my life. We spent a lot of time debating venues together and we were so incredibly lucky to have come across the Quixotic. I honestly cannot speak highly enough about my experience here. If you are reading this review and trying to decide if this is the place for you, do yourself a favor, book them now! First of all, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. Thats all I heard from everyone all night was how very beautiful and unique the setting was. The decoration is top notch and I couldnt have imagined a better setting for my event. Furthermore, as previously stated, the wife and I looked a many venues, and you will not find a better place for the price. Very reasonable. But the most important part of the whole affair was the impeccable service and assistance we received. Eric is in charge and he was constantly available and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Speaking of above and beyond...Candias. She was there the night of the wedding and we couldnt have asked for a better host. She was on top of every situation, even before we realized it needed attending to. And she was so sweet and approachable. She stopped me several times throughout the night just to make sure everything was running smoothly and that I didnt need for anything. I dont think we could have had such a successful wedding without her. She took care of everything and simultaneously put the entire wedding party at ease and made us feel at home. Jeremy was our bartender. He also did a fantastic job making sure everyone was taken care of and he was also just a fun guy! It was a busy event and he was the only bartender and he handled it like a champ. Very cool guy. Yancey was there as sort of a right hand man to Candias and he was also just a genuinely sweet guy. He took time out and went out of his way to congratulate me and have a conversation with me. Eric has a phenomenal staff. As stated, I couldnt speak more highly of the Quixotic World and you should absolutely consider them for any event you may be having. You wont regret it.

My hubby and I rented this venue for a party the night of our wedding. Not only is the venue a perfect size but Eric and his team are phenomenal! He was super responsive whenever I emailed him with requests and always accomodating. He had someone there the day of our event to make sure things ran smoothly. The only (small) negative is that there is no parking lot attached to the building so if there is a lot going on downtown the day of your event it could be hard for your guests to find parking. We had a few guests that couldnt attend our event because they couldnt find parking. Other than that its a great space! I wouldnt hesitate to book again! Thank you, Eric, for everything!!

I have rented out Quixotic for two separate events – both were off the charts. The space is truly unique. The design, attention to detail is unbelievable. Brilliant colors, an awesome stage, high ceilings, super long old-school bar, secret room upstairs, perfect lighting, cool bathrooms, great sound system. You simply cannot find a place like this, unless you live in New York City or perhaps Paris (France, not Texas :)). The red carpet out front was so great – our friends were blown away when they arrived. And the location is perfect, right in the heart of Deep Ellum. The staff is terrific - not only fun, but total pros. Thank you Quixotic. I’ll be back very soon!

My wedding at The Quixotic World Theatre Company was absolutely perfect. I know a lot of brides say that or like to brag, but honestly, Eric and his team are beyond all standards of comparison. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but it’s an experience you and your guests won’t be able to forget. It’s unique and has true character which is something most can’t provide. They offer a huge array of special features I’d never even thought of having at a wedding. From different forms of entertainment one might see at cirque du Soleil to a number of accommodations. And the staff is literally the best. Especially Candias. I love her so much and you will too. The most attentive, kind, and professional event coordinator in the world. Officially. Awesome quirky venue and great staff! Eric responded quickly to all questions and concerns (due to Arts Fest). The on-duty staff was very responsive and worked to ensure my event was perfect.

Atmosphere was not for older folks, otherwise the young crowd was good to see them enjoying the event.

The Quixotic World is a jewel. I had my wedding reception here on July 23. Every guest was blown away by how cool, unique, and fun this space is. Working with Eric was a great experience. He is very responsive and works to make whatever event youre creating here exactly what you want. He always emailed me back within the same day, and sometimes within ten minutes! The staff working my reception were awesome and quickly responded to every request. This place is budget friendly and worth every penny!! I will always remember my wedding day, especially bc my reception was perfect. Thank you!! I highly, highly recommend The Quixotic World for any party/event youre planning.

Totally unique and memorable experience! One of my best friends got married here on Halloween and it was incredible! Youll never find another venue quite like this: its gothic, magical, mystical, and whimsical. The bizarre decor is straight out of a Tim Burton / Alice in Wonderland dream. The staff was very friendly and dressed up for the occasion! Its right in the heart of Deep Ellum which made it even more amazing on Halloween night. Would recommend to anyone who needs a gothic space to hold an event!

I had my daughters graduation party here, and I cant say enough about how wonderful our experience was! When you walk in - the place is just WOW! I dont think there was a single guest who didnt say how amazing the venue was - and there were over 200 guests! Eric Sacks was so so nice and easy to work with. There were 2 staff members present for the event. They took care of it all! From re-filling the food, drinks, cutting cake, and overall help with ANYTHING! I didnt have to worry about cleaning - and walked out with just my stuff. I LOVED the entire experience and I cant wait to do another event here in the future. If you are looking for a unique event with wonderful customer service - this is the place to be. Also, on a side note, they have a pretty awesome sound system, slide show screens and my favorite part - GIANT coolers with ice that hold all your drinks. That was a nice surprise to me because I had brought all my coolers, but their large containers looked so much more hip! Thank you so much Eric - we really cant thank you enough!!

Amazing venue! Staff was super helpful, even when we forgot a few items. It is rare to find a venue/location that meets all your production needs. I had a concept video to shoot, and we didnt have to go anywhere else to capture additional footage. We did everything at Quixotic World. Id book it again.

This place was awesome!!! We used it for a wedding and everyone had so much fun! Its a good size, even if you have a smaller group. The lights are really cool too. I recommend using all the lasers and trying the shadow curtain. We had a lot of fun with that! And of course, Eric was very helpful the whole time. He was easy to reach and quick to respond to all of our questions. He even made some last minute changes happen for us.

I absolutely love The Shout House! Its definitely a place you will have a good time, unless you have no pulse.

Really strange event space but excellent entertainment for large company holiday parties. The coat check was really weird though. Its a vent pipe hanging from the ceiling in the performers dressing rooms.

We got married at this venue yesterday, and it was an amazing experience. The features, decor, staff and help were all amazing and super cost-effective (especially compared to our other options). Eric was constantly and consistently helpful throughout the entire booking and setup process (even to the point of getting my wife 2 of her favorite drink just because he felt like it). Jeff, the bartender, was amazing, and Angela managed the event wonderfully from start to end. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough if youre looking for a beautiful (if off-beat) place to have a private party or wedding.

We used The Quixotic World Magical Event Space as the venue for our fraternity formal this spring (2016). It was INCREDIBLE. Both Billy, the event manager, and Eric were extremely helpful, courteous, and transparent throughout all of our interactions with them. When they say, Well take care of the rest., they really mean it. Our event garnered about 150 people and every single one of them had a fantastic time. You cant go wrong when choosing this venue.

The woman helping out went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Gorgeous venue, and very reasonably priced! Couldnt have asked for a better experience, both for me and my guests!

It was a really cool place, with a really cool theme. If you plan on having an event where you want to bring in all your food and adult beverages, I highly recommend The Quixotic World. Plus they have an Harry Potter replica sorting hat you can try on.

This is truly a magical space! Very impressed w/the decor & ambiance. The space arrangement is phenomenal: private comfy seating areas, dance space, a REAL stage, spacious floor seating, a bar. Attended a birthday party w/a large selfie booth, a private photographer also was set up in another area, lots of table & chair space & still plenty of dance floor! AWESOME! ADVICE: Take Uber/Lyft parking is very limited.

Weve been here for a ton of events, but last weekend we held our 10 year vow renewal ceremony at The Quixotic World. I could not have asked for a more attentive staff, or a better time. Everything was perfect, and Billy helped me get things situated so that I could relax and enjoy myself. I love this place, and it will always be on the top of my list anytime I need to hold an event.

We had our charity masquerade event here, and it was FABULOUS! The staff was amazing and helped with set-up, tear down and all of our needs during the event. The place was clean, easy to access and already decorated! Between the light shows, the music, the masks/hats on the walls, the screens playing videos, the tarot card reader and the silks aerialist, our guests loved it! Thanks Eric and Billy for all of your help and well be back next year!

Just Celebrated a B-Day milestone at this venue and had a Great Time! The theme, vibe and style of this place was just what I was looking for. Loved the open floor plan (it gave plenty room for dancing), the upstairs green room, the two video screens, VIP areas, long bar and stage, where we danced behind the white screen. Also, Eric was accommodating, friendly, professional and Awesome to work with. I Highly recommend this Spot!

My wedding was held here on 1/29/15, and I couldnt have asked for a better place. Eric and Billy (Column) were very gracious to all of our guests and helped us with everything that we needed! We had our End of Year/Holiday Party at Quixotic and it was AMAZING. The venue is beautiful and full of fun surprises around every corner. Eric and his staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The entertainment that Eric helped us get (magician, caricature artist and tarot reader) were all extremely good. I keep hearing over and over that this is the best party we have EVER had as a company. It was, honestly, Epic.If you are planning an event, this is the venue to use.

I recently hosted my daughters Sweet 16 party here. Everyone loved the venue!!! The central location was great. The guests really liked the unique decor. The party included a vocal performance by my daughter, Evan Michelle, so the stage was just perfect. More importantly, as the host, it was such a pleasure working with Eric Sacks, the owner. Eric makes every effort to ensure your event is awesome. The booking process was seamless and professional and the attentiveness prior and during the event was spot on! Eric is straightforward, professional and quite personable. This venue served as the foundation for an indelible celebration for my daughter. We are grateful.

Weve hosted The Vinyl Thoughts Art Show at The Quixotic World three times now. We honestly feel this is one of the best rental venues of its size in Dallas. Eric and his crew always take very good care of us. Plus, you cant beat the built-in items that come with the venue: bar, DJ booth, PA system, stage and green room are all included. Definitely give Eric a call to check out this space for your event.

Inside was beautiful and we had a lot of fun, but the parking was a nightmare! It took some guests 30 minutes to find parking and then another 10 to walk to the place. Thats one of the drawbacks to having an event in the middle of downtown.

We held a Masquerade Ball there last weekend. It really is a Magical Event Space and quite suited to a masked ball. The decor is wonderfully quirky and reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. We had about 70 guests, but the space could easily have accommodated double that number. Eric is easy going and was willing to work with the bureaucracy associated with a university sponsored event. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place to host a party.

Our business celebrated the 3rd anniversary hollywood themed party at Quixotic, Eric, Billy, were great!! All staff was super helpful, accommodating and fun. The places decor was perfect made it so we needed little to no decor. We will always recommend Quixotic as weve hosted parties at other venues and none treated us and our guest as well as they have!!!

The Quixotic world is a magical space! I am the director of 8&1 dance company and we just recently had our holiday production at this venue. The space was plenty big for all of our dancers, musicians and hundreds of guests. Eric, the owner, was so helpful in making sure all our dance company needs were taken care of. He was also very attentive to the needs of our guests. The place had an awesome energy and vibe and helped to make our production not only a show but a wonderful holiday party as well! We will definatly make this venue our holiday tradition for 8&1s performance, In The Spirit.

Ive been to Quixotic World twice for hoop dance workshops. Eric is extremely helpful in helping you organize your event, and he responds quickly to calls, texts and e-mails.The space itself is stunning, large and open. Its a visual treat from every angle. I would live in this space if I could! In addition to the pleasing aesthetics, there was plenty of room for all of us crazy hoop dancers (and our hula hoops), it held 20 of us comfortably, and hoopers take up a LOT of space!I HIGHLY recommend Quixotic for any event that would benefit from a touch of extra whimsy. We had our company holiday party here and it was FANTASTIC! I would consider our group a conservative type of all ages so I wasnt sure how it would go down exactly, but it was a huge hit. We used the Magician, Caricaturist, Photo Booth, and DJ Chowda that were recommended by Eric and they were all great! Our group LOVED the Caricatures and all the pics from the photo booth to take home. They also loved running behind the stage and shadow dancing and the hula hoops were fun too. We brought in our own liquor and had their bartender serve. We catered Maggianos and had Quixotic servers. Eric and his crew were simply amazing. Cannot say enough about the staff of that place. Grade A service. Thank you for the WONDERFUL holiday party Quixotic!
