Food wasnt bad. Staff may have been understaffed as they appeared literally in distress. My bartender didnt listen to a single thing I asked for. As for limes, he forgot, asked for sweet potato fries, regular ones came out. Burger was good. Music outside was entertaining. Place isnt bad. Staff could use some work. Seems like a lack of training as some staff was very pleasant and attentive.

Ive been a few times. Its always a pleasure. Bar tenders are awesome and drinks are great. They have a bottomless chips and 3 dips and its great for shows because you can leave and go watch the show for a bit and then come back and get a fresh one. Shows are always lively and prices for tickets, food, and drinks are relatively affordable compared to other venues!

Me and my wife really enjoyed our lunch... Food was really good but the people there were excellent... went to the merchandise store at the garage and really enjoyed the experience ....

Great food and drinks but I always go for the live shows. The sound system is amazing and you can get up close to your favorite artist like All Time Low or Run the Asylum

First time here with my kids,and we love it!Food was amazing, and the environment was very friendly. However the best thing about this restaurant was the service! We had an amazing waitress, her name is Kyllie, and she made my family’s experience very welcoming. We will definitely be coming here more often.

Food is good but the staff and management are useless. Spent a lot of money to see a show. Flew in from out of state. Got there early to relax and have dinner beforehand, only to find out the “reserved” concert seating was first come first served, which was not stated on their website when I bought the tickets. We were seated in the rear of the balcony with zero view. Their website had tickets for sale, $20 & $40. What they failed to mention was its $20 for 2 and $40 for four. Essentially I bought 8 seats, thinking I was buying 2. After management was completely unwilling to help me out, we left. This was after having to find someone to even scan our tickets. Pretty sure half the people at the concert just walked in and helped themselves to the “reserved” tables. Ended up being a huge waste of money.

Bad service here with a waiter who didnt want to work or service the table black and white clear as day...i spoke to 2 wonderful ladies at the bar who really turned that experience around to get something done offered kindness and conversation. I would come back for them my husband won a placement champion fight so we were out celebrating. 5 stars because of the service with two bartenders go see those ladies and tip tip tip for me.

I travel all over the U.S. for a living and I cannot say enough about this place. Not only was the food superb, this place is unforgettable. I lost a decent amount of cash out my pocket on accident. THE BARTENDER FOUND IT AND PUT IT AWAY UNTIL I CAME BACK TO ASK FOR IT! $200 was returned to me on pure honesty. This is the local business you want to support. We’d never been before, so this was our first visit. The Southern Fried Chicken Salad was good! My son built a burger and loved it, we did ask for no fries, but they still gave them to us, no big deal. My husband had the Chopped BBQ sandwich and said it was ok, the bbq sauce was the best part. We got an app of their Queso, but it was not worth the $7.99. It tasted funny. I don’t know how to exactly describe it, it tasted like it was missing something, but I’m not sure what. I just wasn’t impressed with it. My son liked it, but my husband and I were not fans. The service was very good and the waiter, Alex, kept our drinks filled. Nice atmosphere, except for the live music, it just wasn’t my type of music.

FANTASTIC Food and Service ....This was my 1st time to have lunch there. I had the chicken fried steak w/ grilled carrots - asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The whole meal / experience was Outstanding. You can tell that everything is made fresh daily and with love. The portions are grand as well.The waitress was lovely and a pleasure to work with.Keep up the GREAT job y’all.

Placed my food to go but a stranger bought the food against my protest and gave the waitress/bartender a lot of money. So, my food never came out and I waited for an hour. The guy wouldnt leave me alone and was hovering over my drink. He also tried to reach for my phone, so I hid in the bathroom. After 20 minutes he went into the womens bathroom twice to find me and even had the waitress help him. Luckily they never found me, but the waitress/bartender was helping this stranger prey on me! Thankfully after waiting it out long enough in the bathroom, I was able to leave without him seeing me. After that experience Im never going there again, especially if the waitresses are in on other women getting preyed on! I wonder how many other women have experienced this at the Gas Monkey but this is a problem to be addressed!

Waiter didnt seem to care at all, I asked for a zombie drink, she just nodded and didnt even look at me and then she brought something completely different. The other waiters around the restaurant were refilling our drinks. Burger was pretty good though.

Gas did not disappoint, Im really impressed that after all these years its still putting out high quality stuff. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and they were awesome about seating our party of 6 large guys. Our waitress Jessica was very attentive and did a great job as well. The menu had a pretty wide range of items and had something for everyone. We started with some apps and made our way to the main courses. I had the 2 meat combo and while it was good I felt it couldve used a little more meat on the plate. Other than that everything was on point. I hope these guys keep up the good work and out last all the places that are closing around them.

We had the pulled chicken nachos and the 3 meat BBQ platter. The food was fabulous and the service was amazing! Will definitely go back!

We went in this evening for dinner and they have a sign posted for $3 canned beer “Sunday funday Special”.. no specific dining (inside or outside) ordered a canned beer and I was charged full price. Mentioned it the the host and she was completely rude. She said that it was only for the outside seating, but we were never even offered to sit outside. I mean, it’s $3 but it’s the principal.$6 for a canned beer... paying for the name not the quality.I’ve heard on several accounts that the workers were extremely rude. And that goes to prove their point.Richard... do better on your staff’s etiquette.

Chicken and sausage gumbo is amazing!!! But the small portion will leave you still hungry. Live band was so loud I couldnt yell loud enough to my friend 2 feet from me!!!! Sorry when you cant talk to someone sitting next to you! Come on. I went back a couple days later and the chicken sausage gumbo was even half size!! So it was smaller!!!! But the no monkey around Burger!!! Is going to be the one of the best things you eat!!! The other three live bands I saw there were way better!!!

First off I wanna give a shout-out to our server Mike, he is an amazing server who I was able to hit off with immediately with like interests. The food here was absolutely amazing and would suggest it to anyone!! I’m from South Ga and was in Dallas for Nissan training and can honestly say everything that me my wife and my buddy ate was absolutly outstanding keep up the good work!!! If I’m ever in Dallas again, I will make it possible to where I will eat there again!!!! 5 stars ain’t enough rating for this place!!!️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️

Place was nice. Staff was good. Ordered smoked beef grilled cheese and was nasty. Was more like a pot roast sandwich with cheese. Meat had no smoke flavor and mushy with hardly any cheese. Mind you that I hate roast. Rest of the food and drinks were good.

Food was good for the most part. Half of our table got BBQ and the brisket between our plates were not consistent at all. The rest of the food was fantastic.

This place was amazing. Our server Raul was on point with excellent service and what came out of the kitchen was so fantastic that my eyes rolled to the back of my head. The atmosphere was a true Gas Monkey vibe. I wished I lived in the area, I would be a regular. I highly recommend the braises beef that melts in your mouth. Thank you for an awesome experience.

This was a little pricey but the food was better than I expected. We went there because we had a guest who is into all things Gas Monkey and were pleasantly surprised. Our party of 4 was very pleased.

As of today, Dallas has allowed for 75% of capacity operations. I was expecting to be able to sit at a table in the dining room but no. Just the bar area is open for now and tables were available in the bar. I was shocked and almost left due to none of the staff wearing masks nor maintaining a 6 foot social distance from each other. They dont seem to be very professional or concerned about guest and employee health. No menus. They hand you a QR code and tell you to download the menu if you want to look at it. The food was great. Huge nachos plate. Water is just straight city tap water so it isnt very tasty, even with ice. Service was friendly but I had to ask for silverware and a napkin. I like the TV show and was really expecting great things from the restaurant. The best feature they have was the credit card reader that they bring to your table and you never have to loose sight of your credit card-love that!

Great atmosphere. Food was bland service was OK was most likely my first and last time there. Only went due to the TV show but was just disappointed.

I want to visit this place for the 1st time on last week. The restaurant and how they got things set up is really great and is esthetically pleasing. The part I dont like is the fact that gumbo and the rice was super salty!! All the salt should come from the gumbo. The rice should never have that much salt in it if any salt at all.

We went there for dinner and to see a band play. The entrees were very reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. I was thinking it would be typical bar food. It was step above that though. The BBQ was especially good for a place like this. Nice smokey flavor. We didnt order any dessert and we only had two drinks and I didnt see what we paid for them. It was a pretty chilly night... in the 40s but the outdoor stage was pretty comfy considering... I got a little warm in my coat. They had a good cover with several propane heater going.

This is nice venue for watching live music on their outdoor stage. There is seating on the balcony and on the floor and I think all of that allow for a good view.

Excellent spot for quality bar food. I look forward to a return trip. It has a great feel to it.

Wow. Just WOW. The food, specifically the Angus brisket, was cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. we werent really hungry when we went in, but we cleaned our plates!!! The drinks were good too. Colorful, and the glasses were fun to take home. If I lived in Dallas I would eat here often. Cudoos to the head cook! I wish I took pictures!

Got here opening not alot of customers but alot of service. I sat at the bar Greg was my server. He was great very pleasant guy, kept me with my drink. The Pulled Pork sandwich was great.

I was just disappointed and got my feelings hurt because I ask the waitress if they had like any misting fans or something ( it was literally 108 degrees that day and 100 at the time) she said go up and it’s cooler .. I look over and see a lot of stairs so I say is there an elevator? She looked at me like I was crazy and finally shook her head and walked away. Umm ok well I happen to have multiple sclerosis and I can’t do all them stairs! I cannot be the only disable person to visit this establishment! Better training maybe ? I don’t know . And she was not a kid, she looked 30 something she should know better

This place was amazing!!! The food was so delicious and had great flavor. The BBQ sauce was tasty and the candied bacon was a nice touch. Dominic our server was great! He was on point and the conversation was nice. If we lived closer we would be there for our next meal but if we are ever in the area again we will definitely be there.

Watched the live bands on a Saturday evening and it was lots of fun. We found a table on the patio after being told that we couldnt stand up due to social distancing. The service was pretty slow but the drinks were nice and cold.

Great food, consistent in quality and service.You wouldnt expect much from a restaurant thats an off shoot of a TV show but you will definitely be happily surprised at how good it is.I can personally recommend the pork chops, you wont leave hungry.

Should have taken a picture presentation was a 3..I had the Chicken Fried Steak with bacon gravy with Asparagus and mac and cheese!!! Horrible...Nothing had flavor but the asparagus and it was very chewy...My first time being here!!! Not a good experience..

This place was an awesome place to stop for lunch! I got the The Coyote burger and I loved it. The only thing I didn’t care for was that our waiter kept forgetting about us and got to busy talking and staying around. But otherwise its a clean and friendly place with a cool and fun atmosphere.

Really good and taste food, but they need to fix the menu because I order tablitas and when they add Pico de gallo I never imagine that was a spoon served on it and the salsa too. Lemon needs to be more fresh and not from a day ago. Next time Ill adjust mine feedback to 5 stars . Anyway our waitress was awesome perfect A+ for service.

Went here to see a concert. I paid $150 for a table. Was not really sure what to expect. Its an outdoor venue. They have the main stage with a fairly large standing area/dance floor then they had an upper deck that had 6 tables which is where we were at. Then up above on the balcony they had the cabanas which is the best seats available or at least the most expensive. The service was good. There was only one server for 6 tables but he kept up very well. I was disappointed in the sound department. They were having multiple difficulties in getting the singers music to play and often started playing the wrong music then want the singer was actually trying to sing. The singer was great though and even made sang some of his songs freestyle without ant music. The food was alright but quite pricey for bar food. This was definitely worth it to see the band I went to see.

No matter what type of show it is I have always had a lot of fun here. Most recently I have been here for 3 different burlesque shows and I have loved it! Drinks are mixed well and servers are great at getting to you without a wait. Seating is never cramped and easy to maneuver. Smoking area is very friendly and easy to spot. Bathrooms are spacious!

The bands that were playing were fantastic.The service was very good. The food and prices were ok.

We visited this place on Friday. It was really neat. The food was great, and our server was very helpful and friendly. There were a few items they didnt have, but all-in- all, we were very pleased with our visit.

We go once a year to GMBG the service was great, till this last time, we got over charged on the beer ........SO MAKE SURE TO GO OVER YOUR RECIEPT VERY WELL !!!!!!!!

My son and I paid a visit to this location for a Paul Gilbert concert. We purchased balcony tickets. Customers were allowed to remove bar stools from the tables and move them to sit near the balcony rail, which immediately blocked our view of the concert. Other than that issue, we enjoyed our experience. We ordered chips and salsa, a burger, and a slab of ribs, which were tasty and moderately priced. I would not recommend the balcony as a place to sit for a concert. Eat and then move to the floor area to enjoy the show.

Amazing place and the food is top quality..I came from Australia and was thrilled to meet Richard...he showed me around and we shared a local beer.he promised to come and visit us in Australia....great time.

Awesome atmosphere & great food!! Wish the parking lot had been paved.....not good for motorcycles!!! Although if the guy running the car show entrance would have been more intelligent maybe would have directed us to a solid place to park.

Cool spot, Enough space, good vibes, and good food and drinks. Days with live music can be crowded and tough to find a spot but worth it. Service is pretty prompted and so is food service. Ive been here many times and always enjoy the visit. I would recommend.

We saw Animals as Leaders here. I dont remember the names of the other two bands but they were great too. Didnt get any pics of the front and the way I have them on here are reverse order as we had to park a long way over and passed the busses on the way in. Its a nice place, Ive been here a few times when it was The Firewater. First time as Gas Monkey for me, but my husband bought me a shirt (black with red) last time he played there and its the most comfortable shirt in the whole wide world (had to because its my favorite).I have to say one downfall is being able to actually see. We had balcony seats and unless you could squish in with the people at the railing, it was near impossible to see. We had to go down to the ground area to actually witness what we came for. That wasnt horrible, we got in there, but it seemed weird the higher price for a worse view. I feel like the layout could be improved.We had the blue cheese burger with the crystallized bacon...heaven...heaven! So good. Get that when you go there. Best burger Ive probably ever had. Prices were really not bad at all. One perk of having balcony tickets is the nice bathrooms and inside bar where you can order food. Parking is rough, get there early.

As always the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. They have done a great job setting up the place for social diastancing. 80% of the staff does a great job keeping their mask on the other 20 % pull it down to talk to people or wear them incorrectly. That is something for the manager to step in on.

The vibes here are great and the live music makes it like no other. Me and my girlfriend came here and the wait staff were so attentive to us! Great service, delicious food, awesome atmosphere! How can you make a BLT better - add a fried egg to it!! The fries were hot and crispy, the BLT had a lot of flavor, and the bacon was crunchy and not chewy. My husbands chopped beef sandwich looked amazing, but I didnt try it. I would eat here all the time if I lived in Dallas.

Names and tastes that I am used to but it was still great.It was a little cramped for space.It is kid friendly.Prices fit the food.Souvenir shop in the back corner would be better if you could go straight in from the outside instead of having to walk through the restaurant to get back to it.Definitely worth trying out.
