Horrible experience, expensive drinks (Ciroc $17 for a 6oz glass, single shot, and chaser) and an doorman that charges his own prices to skip the line. I will never recommend this place to anyone, Im here visiting from Alabama and Ive been to many big cities however this club here in Dallas is overrated

Two observations: So the bar will automatically charge 20% gratuity. That’s really interesting to me since 80% percent of the patrons that come to Level are African American compared to surrounding bars. What’s being implied there?Also, the upstairs VIP sectionals look like rats been going to town on them.

They have good customer service and a goooood DJ... But we were seated outside and couldnt really hear the music, only when the door opened- we can really hear the music. Inside was nice and upstairs was beautiful. Its time to update the seat cushions too.

Its ok, gets packed. Limited seating. Patio furniture old and dirty or missing pieces. DJs are good depending who they book. Food is good, drinks are STRONG. No parking, no valet service.

Visiting from Houston for a friends wedding. We came here after the wedding. Both DJs upstairs and down were trash until the last 15minutes before last call. My friend picked this place and I dont know why. PURE BORDOM

Its different now from what I remembered coming before. I think they made some upgrades to the place. They have hookah downstairs and its very chill. I went on a Saturday night and the upstairs was packed on the dance floor. They have security pretty tight letting people up and down the stairs making sure it doesnt get too over crowded. House drinks were $9. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Levels have great music DJshe real definitely turned the place up great vibes and great atmosphere. Make sure to go on Friday or Saturday those tend to be the most popular days great mixed crowd.

Had a dope birthday experience here! I had my girls come in from Florida and was recommended this day party by family. They enjoyed themselves and said we have some of the best looking guys vs Florida! I would definitely recommend Level for your day and night party experience Days

The owner is very rude and doesn’t know proper customer service etiquette.I was told one particular promotion/time frame for that by a staff member and when it was time to for the order the promotion was all of sudden over. Mind you when I walked in I ordered 3 alcoholic beverages, which apparently equated to $50 worth of drinks and $40 hookah (no promotion included).I spoke with the owner about the situation and he was very rude, short, and peeved that I had even brought it to his attention. My family owns a popular restaurant in Atlanta and I know that would never fly in our establishment, so to have such poor customer service from the owner was a shock. I don’t mind paying for what I want; however, when I’m told one thing and given another, I find that to be very disrespectful and false advertisement. I would’ve even stayed and bought more products, but since the encounter with the owner was horrible, I will never return to this establishment neither will any of my colleagues or family. (To protect them the restaurant will not be mentioned).Best wishes on better management.

Ive only been in Texas for 3 day and been to some clubs...it was popping. Im more about my money than spending it but it was fun.

It was a nice daytime party. I would go back whenever I visit Dallas again. However, the DJ was from Houston so I knew I was in for a good time.

Matt and his staff treated us like royalty one Saturday afternoon as we stepped into Level while they were just prepping to open later in the afternoon. They could have said, “hey guys sorry we don’t open until....”Instead, Matt (one of the operators of Level) invited us in to cool off with a beer.Seeing Level in the day time was impressive because it was clean, and the equipment all looked well kept.We just really appreciated our experience and decided this is now one of our faves in Uptown because Matt so naturally and effortlessly treated us with such hospitality.

I went for their day party and it was a nice vibe but geared more towards the younger crowd!

Good music and drinks

It was cool, free of charge on Sundays for the day party. Dress code relaxed. Drinks a little pricey but Im assuming thats making up for the free admission. Over all worth the visit if your just wanting to get out the house and mingle. Best to reserve a table if its a group of friends, unless your cool with standing. Thank me later!

Honestly, with the recent murder of its customer, Im shocked this place is still alive.Moreover, on a sunny weekend afternoon you can easily catch the customers fighting each other, pouring into the streets, and useless security spraying mace at people.I once saw a woman pushed onto the concrete and no one did anything.Stay classy.

I had the worst experience. Being from NYC, i planned my vacation to go to a day party at Levels. A table was reserved in the upstairs lounge. My friends got there before i did but when i arrived the bouncer would not allow the guest party to go upstairs. However, i watched him allow other partygoers go upstairs. He did not give any explanation why but rather was very rude and disrespectful. The other bouncers and my friend who was already upstairs tried to reason with the bouncer but he continued with his aggressive and unprofessional behavior. To avoid any more disrespect we just left. I would NEVER go there again. I thought being from out of town i can get to enjoy Texas, but i was sadly mistaking. Visiting Levels was not what i imagined and i dont recommend anyone to go there.

Small establishment. They serve chicken wings and have TVs. Bartenders not very friendly but at least they are cute.

Not a good first impression. Granted the place is ideal for some weekend get together with friends, but lacked in the customer service department. I had paid for a table reservation through Eventbrite for an event happening there at 10pm. I didnt learn until 1130 that nothing was happening..dont know who dropped the ball on that one

Went to watch the Pacquiao fight. The bar is nice, but extremely small. The drinks are overpriced and the crowd is way to young. Meaning if you want to hang with 20 year olds. In the warmer months it will be nice because of the open seating upstairs, but remember the crowds age range.

This is a dope spot in Uptown Dallas. I was here on a Wednesday. It was raining but the place was packed. Fine beautiful black girl all over the place. The drinks though are very bit pricey I must say though. And Is it a hoolah bar or a regular lounge? that part was also a bit confusing. But great atmosphere. Highly recommended for good hip hop music and to look at beautiful black women.

If I could give them no stars I would! Brunette bartender served us two rounds of drinks, got tipped $8. We were clearly still there (with other friends who were also drinking) and she got an attitude and had us tossed out “because your boyfriend won’t take care of us as bartenders and tip use right” when I asked for a lime for my shot instead of the lemon she put on it! Even thought tipping is optional, we always tip! Will never visit this place again and unless your skin tone is the right (white) color Id advise you to stay far away!

Do not bother to try and resolve this issue with them they will not help you! Dispute this with your bank. This place is a scam will never be back.

Good vibe loved it about a year ago. I still go sometimes recently the atmosphere is shoulder to shoulder on Saturdays on the night I get the opportunity to hang out so I go else where on Saturdays now because it gets so packed that ppl in their sections have to stand on top of the couches.

Good food and good crowd but I feel since black people do go there they raise the price up on drinks and they cater to Africans

It looked very nice inside and out, but once I came in and sat at a table I saw what seemed to be waitresses, but I guess not really because no one ever came to serve us so I ended up taking my business elsewhere. They definitely need customer service training and not to be huddled up in the back together not working.

Today some friends and I came from out of town to get together. We saw that level had a Sunday hip hop brunch, so we went. It was 7 of us. We started brunch at 1. Around 4:30, two of the ladies had to go to the airport. When one returned she was denied re-entry because of her shoes. The manager stated it was because “they didn’t have backs”. However there were a number of half naked ladies with “backless sandals”. She was also allowed in the establishment with the same shoes on only 3 hrs earlier. My friends and I were constantly buying food and drinks during our 4+ hrs of being there. We do not understand why someone who spent a nice amount of money in the establishment was not allowed in. The DJs were nice but the manager needs to be replaced.You can’t expect people to return to your establishment when you treat your customers unfairly. Nonetheless we won’t be returning on our next trip to Dallas, and neither should you.

A friend and I went on a Sunday night for another friends birthday. It was very crowded and small, but nonetheless the music was great for a more urban crowd.

Went here this past weekend and the manager was so damn rude! Had something in m drink and she act like she didn’t wanna make me a new one or give me my money! I was here for 10 minutes and left and it’s sad because this was an event we where referred to for my sisters bachelorette weekend! I will never be back!!!!

When you have to wait in a pointless line for 20 minutes during one of Texas hottest heatwaves in years, it can be a bit discouraging. Level Bar is not the place to go if you’re ready to really turn up.... unless you can stand waiting for 30 minutes outside to enter into an empty club.

Thieves!!!!! The bartender decided to leave herself a $10 tip that I did not authorize. Make sure to keep your receipt and double check it. They also automatically charge %15 gratuity and this ghetto place.

Food was good and the atmosphere was real cool and laid back.

I’m at the bank now reporting fraud on this club because the bartenders here think it’s ok to tip themselves. Yesterday they charged my credit card unauthorized for over 200+ dollars. I ordered 4 drinks and felt discriminated. They kicked me out after I finished my one drink I got for myself. I am canceling my card now and the bartenders are known for this. Check the face book reviews. They do not have a yelp account where people can post this review so I came to google. I’m assuming since this has happened to multiple people they took down the yelp. I am furious and will never come back here again.

Loved the atmosphere!

Joel at the bar on the 1st level is AWESOME! His customer service was superb! I have visited this place of business on several occasions and never have I received that GREAT customer service. I took family here from out of town and after sitting at the bar for apps 8 mins, many of the bartenders walked by without acknowledging patrons sitting there. I asked Joel for a menu and not only did he take our order but he was VERY attentive the entire hour we sat there all while serving other guests! I wish there were more employees with Joels EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills! I give Joel 10 stars!

The remodel is modern, clean, and put-together. The bartender was ok, and the drinks were expensive. The 3 stars is because of the atmosphere. It was... boring. Many places like these make you want to dance and feel relaxed but this one was the opposite. The white everywhere makes it look sterile and the patio has been cut down by half of what it was before and it gets crowded fast. Also, the music was dubstep overkill 99% of the time and bordered annoying.Its mostly preference, but if you enjoy chill places where everyone is going to have a good time and not waste time putting on airs... pick another place. This is not for everyone.

I had a horrible experience here. The server gave herself a fraudulent tip of over 100% of the total bill. After numerous times of failed attempts via phone. I had to physically make an appearance to this bar just to be told that I should contact my bank and file a claim.... on top of that, my friend was also charged $30 extra dollars as a part of his tip as well. This place is a scam so if you ever decide to visit, be sure to keep your receipt as Im sure the bank will require it.
