I went for a day party for my friends 40th birthday . It was organized and the DJ was good. We had a good time.

We came as a result of an organized party here for a few hours. We enjoyed the venue until it was time to go. There is pay per use parking next door to this building. This venue is large enough for small to medium sized parties. It features a stage and a smoking area. The restrooms are a bit screwy, but clean.

Very mature and electric atmosphere with a vibe that makes you smile while in company with a beautiful looking crowd. Great live music and talented DJs inside and outside for bringing back memories of yester-years. Recommended for sure.

Was treated really well here...good drinks food and music...reserved a table and everything went very well..even got a call back from Carmen for more details about seating.

Its a nice space. Attended a fundraiser event here with local talent. Had a great time.

One of the first places I visited when I moved from Philly. Reminded me of home. Good music, they have a bbq spot in the back with delicious loaded baked potatoes. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star and not 5 is the line at the bar to get a drink.

Cool Atmosphere, perfect for the 30+ crowd. Drinks were fantastic and crafted perfectly. Incense in the community bathroom space provided a calming and earthy vibe. Fellow attendees were dressed to impress for Friday night while still being friendly and approachable.

I had an Amazing time at this place it was My 1st time visiting and I will definitely be coming back. Im not from Texas but I Love Loved it!

What a wonderful place. Friendly staff, amazing live music that changes constantly, nights with a DJ to keep you moving, and even Barbecue sold on the Patio. If you’re looking for a night out with real grownups and an opportunity to meet some fun people; you’ll love Sandaga 813. Loved that management walked around and interacted with the guest to make sure we were all having a great time.

I went to an art show there and loved it. I wish the space was larger but the atmosphere is nice

The live band, the DJ and the crowd and even the staff were awesome. But when it came to them having there seating assignments together....AWFUL! My entire night was ruined because we were seated by staff at a table only to be asked to move by a patron. We were then seated in a great location near the stage, only to be disturbed once more by staff and moved to a table at the back of the club. DISAPPOINTED

Live Band with Hashtag Mardi was great. The crowd was filled with members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. The drinks were good, we had an awesome night.

I’ve been here a few times; standing room only, don’t even think about wearing those “cute but uncomfortable” shoes here. I guarantee you, your feet will leave you behind, and go wait for you in the car!!!! The good: no matter who’s the dj, I’ve never been disappointed, and the bad: unisex, 3stalls, very dark bathrooms-the reason for 3-stars. Outside patio smoking area sells barbecue! Its a totally different atmosphere. If you smoke it’s nice, if you don’t but can tolerate it, it’s a good vibe.

Celebrated my moms sixty something all White boogie shindig 9/13/19 When I tell u we had a funky good time Man the outside is a whole club by itself. They played some oldies but goodies and we twerked all night Let me not forgot about the BBQ was off the chain If u have been u missing out.... Going back️

Thursday nights band its off the chain. Very very good. If you go, go to the patio and get some of the great food they have. You will not regret it.

This is a cool place to go on a weekend. They have live music playing inside. This weekend (6/15/19) Mandi was singing with a live band and there was a dj outside on the patio playing more hip hop. They also offer bar-b-que for sale outside on the patio. The loaded baked potato was huge and delicious!

Great spot, although they should consider valet. There is a fee to park in the lot next door.

Best kept secret in Dallas. Tuesday night open Mic and you just never know who may show up and play. Outstanding live jazz in the main room, DJ on the patio. BBQ freshly smoked served in the patio area. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Great DJ awesome BBQ out back. I like my VIP a little more VIP but other than that a great night with family and friends celebrating.

The live band was pretty good, but theres not alot of seats to sit and enjoy. Theres a patio but it was too crowded. The bbq offered out there was delish though

Sandaga 813 is the place to be on a Thursday or Friday night. While there, you must get a barbecue baked potato from the vendor in the back.

Very nice atmosphere, were very talented Jazz and R&B artist perform. In addition to the DJ there is space to dance. So bring a change of shoes. They have a coat check in. I think you are allowed to bring in your own food to eat. Check the venue website to see if they may have a food vendors for various headliners. They also take reservations.

I enjoy the live music and dancing! The patio isnt too bad either. Not a fan of cover charges, and I believe this place has one every day, no matter what. The DJs are pretty good and the crowd is usually interesting and fun.

This was my first time at this venue. My good friend was having her birthday party their and she invited me and my husband. It is a pretty cool atmosphere and the live band was excellent. The hostess Carmen was very accommodating as we had a large party to seat during various times of the evening. I will definitely go back.

I work here on weekends great vibes all the top djs in the city rotate through this club local talent nights during the week live music, jazz, cigars, and on the outside patio has another live dj on the turntables and we slangin the best barbque and potatoes in the DDD. Come vibe wit me.

Nice place, good music inside and out on most days. I wouldnt reccomend first Friday if your not a total hip hop head.

I love this spot. Have been before, but went on a Saturday night and the band was awesome. The drinks are good-meaning not watered down or poorly made. The ambiance is nice. The worst thing about this place is that if you get there about an hour after they open, its standing room only. You can go online or call ahead for a table. But if you decide on a whim to go there, be prepared to stand. Its a little unfortunate because if they had more open seating, they would DEFINITELY have more guests. For that, Ill keep a star. I really would keep 2 stars for that, but the talent that performs there is superb and make up for the lack of seating.

The Day Party was definitely on point and nice atmosphere, the drinks are reasonable and so were the cigars. We had a great time and will definitely be going back whenever were in Dallas again.

Great place to hear live music. When it gets too hot inside there is a patio on the outside where you can cool off and still enjoy yourself as theres a DJ playing music. They even had BBQ out there, for sale.

I had an awesome time . on a Wed night. it was a great time the atmosphere is awesome . The band was great . The BBQ was really god .I had a really good time. Its just the right size and very cozy.

It was a packed house and cool crowd so we enjoyed ourselves.

Although we arrived at 9pm, right when the doors opened, and the venue was empty, we were informed that we could only purchase tickets to stand inside. Apparently in order to get a table, you have to make a reservation two weeks in advance. Do night try to go to this place on the spur of the moment.

Natural Change band is one of the best!

I am surprised no one I know has ever mentioned this place. It was my first time going and I loved it. Four stars because seating could be better, but Ill definitely go back and bring friends too! Cover was $10 for ladies and $20 for men around 12am on a Saturday. Street parking and a lot was available.

GREAT music venue! Went on a Wed night and the live band & DJ kept it moving all night. Not to be missed the BBQ being sold in the back at 11, think that might have influenced the rating more than the music.
