First time here, and we had a wonderful experience. Arturo behind the counter was extremely helpful, offered us a sample as first-timers, and took the time to explain the different chocolates. We ended up with 6 different chocolates and 3 glasses of wine. We will be back!

Hair found in my chocolate cake. I understand that accidents happen, like a person’s hair can fall into the things they are making. But what I can’t overlook is when management does nothing after being notified. Seriously, not even a response.I purchased a slice of chocolate cake to take home. When I was eating it I discovered that there was a hair baked into the batter. I literally picked up the piece of cake by the hair baked into it. See picture below. I emailed them about the incident and their response after 7 days. Nothing. Not a word.A business that does not acknowledge their mistakes will definitely not fix their mistakes. I’m sad to say that I will not be making another purchase from Chocolate Secrets. It’s just not worth seeing another hair in my cake.

The atmosphere and experience is why Ive visited this place for nearly ten years. However, I will never return. This was my first experience of horrible customer service. I was shocked as the cashier spoke to her co-worker in Español about what they wanted to eat for lunch. I had to keep interrupting their conversation to ask questions. The cashier was dismissive. I had received gift cards for my birthday and on my last visit the cashier informed me that that gift card was no longer used so she deducted the purchase and wrote the balance and signed her initials on the back of the card for future use. On this visit, I planned to use the balance plus pay additional money to buy myself some treats. The rude cashier informed me that she recognized the person who signed the gift card and balance but she would not honor it. She went on to tell me that I should have used the gift card within a year. I informed her that there was no expiration date on the card. I just paid for items. Which 2 out of 3 items did not taste well.

Flew in from San Antonio Tx to watch a Great Niece play volleyball. There is no way I would be this close and not stop in to get my fix. This chocolate is so delicious. Until next time !!!!

It used to be such a good place. So sad. I used to get wonderful latte and capuccino. I guess, covid-19 got its tall on it. It took the lady 15 minutes to make latte, and it was watery milky concoction. Ah well...

Nice concept for a chocolate store. Big spacious and a wide variety of chocolate pieces and desserts. They also have alcohol and live music which makes it interesting to drink a wine and snack on some chocolates while listening to the music. The chocolate quality is good but not top. Some pieces are better than others. Well like every American store sugar is the main ingredient. I dont think this will ever change.

Favorite chocolate place, and thanks to the owner i was introduced to new kinds of chocolate flavors, i didn’t even know where made lol. Totally recommend this chocolate place to anybody who craves chocolate as much as i do. Will be stopping by to try to Chocolate Covered Strawberries yum !

The interior is very stylish, the variety of chocolate is impressing. But the taste of hot chocolate and cappuccino with almond milk was awful, we couldn’t drink( probably the quality of almond milk is not good. The smell of both drinks was like a cheap oil

Excellent customer service and delicious chocolate. There are your traditional truffles, but their colorful bon bons come in a range of creative combinations like strawberry and balsamic or Turkish coffee. While this is higher end and the price matches that, if youre looking for a good value go for the peanut butter (or other flavor!) cups. I got the peanut butter and bananas foster cup, and not only is it delicious, it is massive. Just smaller than a standard cupcake, its twice as dense as a Reeses and three times as rich. I would consider one cup to be three or four servings; or one serving on a bad day.

First off, service was fantastic, which is why it’s three stars instead of less. It was our first time and we got to taste a chocolate for free, and roam throughout the restaurant freely(we have a one year old who just learned to walk and is all she wants to do). Ambiance, again, was great, no qualms there. But the chocolate.... the chocolate was mediocre at best. The outsides were thick and typical, and the insides were smooth, but not anything special. We got about 10 different pieces of chocolate, 3 truffles, and a turtle to really experience most everything of what they offer. The lemon pistachio was lemon-less, the banana foster didn’t have a hint of banana, the chocolate mint was only lacking the mint, and the sunflower was absolutely beautiful but the oily aspect was the only part of the sunflower that tasted like it. They all look beautiful, but that’s right where it ends. On top of that, the reason why it’s knocked down another star is because of the price. For that handful of 15 or so pieces, it was just under $50. Also it says it has rare finds and chocolate from around the world, we found that where it may have had the chocolate from wherever, it was all blended into some milk chocolate-type bland same same chocolate as you’d find in a grocery store chocolate box, but five times cheaper.

We absolutely love Chocolate Secrets! We’ve spent so much of our dating life here. It feels really good to be able to come and enjoy the atmosphere as a married couple. The chocolate is decadent and delicious, the staff are always welcoming and the drinks are superb. We even catered the chocolates for our engagement party. I recommend this place for date night or any opportunity to pair chocolate, wine and jazz!

What an amazing place. So many delicious deserts and wines, I had to treat myself to several in one night. The live music they offer almost nightly was an added surprise that kept me there for hours. Returning for more; Monday’s Open Mic was a lot of fun. The cafe is always decorated with beautiful art for sale. Chocolate Secrets is a place to visit with a date, friends or alone. However you arrive, you’ll have a great time and love the staff.

Awesome place. We were greeted with 2 chocolates for free for being our first time there. We picked Bananas Foster bonbon and Texas Spicy Pecan truffle, both were amazing! Ordered coffee and a salted caramel chocolate cake, the cake was amazing as well, not overly sweet, not overly chocolatey, fluffy... yummy. On top of that you can go to the adjacent room and listen to some live music after 7:30pm. This is a perfect place to sip on a wine or coffee, and/or to take your significant other to end a date. Well definitely go back to try some of the other bonbons or truffles, they all look great!

Asked for some chocolates from here for Christmas since I have not had this brand before. I have had chocolate from all over the world and this chocolate is now in my top 3 favorites. I received the truffles. They arent too sweet, very creamy and you dont feel disgusted after eating them. What I mean is some chocolates taste good but you regret eating them when finished due to sweetness or richness. These were just perfect!

The chocolates here are amazing. So sweet and savory. Theyre leaps and bounds better than something youd get off the rack at a regular grocery store.

Amazing chocolate desserts, although expensive. The Grand Marnier chocolate truffle (not sure that’s the right name) is my favorite, a must try! They also serve wine and beer, coffee, and ice cream. And live music on some nights. Valet and street parking available.

I took my son here to start the weekend celebration of his 21st birthday. He likes jazz, and he loved this venue, especially the musician, Joe McBride. He was phenomenal.I told my son and his friends that I fell in love and wanted to take the musician and Chocolate Secrets back to Miami. Yes, that just how great this place is.

Ordered a bonbon package for a date during valentines and it was such a hit I made another for Easter! I talked to a Carolyn that was very helpful in choosing the right package and customizing it. It was easy to order and came on time. The presentation of the chocolates was impressive, but they are also so good! Never had chocolates that look and taste awesome.

As many other user have written, Chocolate Secrets has a HUGE selection of candy. This is every kids sweet tooth dream and the place to stop by. They have what looks like an old fashioned soda fountain. Pure soda is mixed with your choice of syrup to make your float. I chose to get the root beer float and this was hands down the best that I have had. At the time of my visit, Glenview farms ice cream was used due to a recall on Bluebell products.

Chocolate secrets has always sparked other worldly for me. Sweet Treats in a relaxed atmosphere you just cant go wrong. I had the salted caramel cake good and it came with all the bells and whistles: whipped cream, two rolled milk chocolate garnishes, a cleverly placed chocolate secrets logo chocolate, and a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon. Did I mention they also have delicious adventurous truffles to, as well as other creative Confections made out of chocolate you know that they have live jazz on Fridays, as well as other events throughout the week. Check them out you wont be disappointed!

Went for my bachelorette party. We walked in and it took us a few minutes to figure out how this place worked, order at the counter and then find a seat. Each patron was taking FOREVER to order so we waited about 20 minutes for our turn, no it wasnt busy. Cakes were very good. The peach as lavender truffle tasted like bitter dark chocolate honeysuckle. Probably not going back.

Chocolate Secrets is the coolest place in downtown Dallas. All their chocolates are hand-made and they ALL taste amazing. Theyre super hospitable and very friendly. I felt this just welcoming vibe when I walked into what was a small aesthetically pleasing community. I 12/10 recommend visiting this place if youre ever in Dallas, plus theyre not overpriced.

Awesome customer service! They knew it was our first time and gave us complimentary Sea Salt Caramel Truffles, and gave us samples of their Tiramisu and Saffron Icecream-SO good! Bought: 1 piece of Chocolate Mousse Cake, 1 Turkish Coffee Truffle, 1 Ancho Chili Truffle, and 2 scoops of Icecream! Everything was bought to go this time around, but I can’t wait to go back with enough time to indulge in their cozy dessert nook with a glass of wine & maybe even their live jazz! I took my wife to Chocolate Secrets on saturday and she fell in love with their Chocolate Mousse Cake so much that I went back to get a whole cake for her birthday on Tuesday.The place is very nice and their chocolates are awesome. Chocolate secrets is amazing. I honest to gosh had a nightmare the other night that chocolate secrets closed down and was replaced with a Starbucks. That’s how good the coffee, food, and of course chocolate is here!

The service was great, but the chocolate itself is not smooth and doesnt dissolve in your mouth like it should. it was very waxy and dull in flavor. the appearance is pleasing but the flavors are so-so. strawberry margarita is an example, I expected the inside to be tinted pink as if real strawberries had been used but Im pretty sure they are using artificial flavors on some because thats what it looked/ tasted like. the inside was white. it was also difficult to even taste the filling flavors. it was like drinking la croix.... just a hint. the chocolate only seemed to have a decent snap because of how thick it was.

Everything here is delicious! Im a chocoholic, so I felt right at home. They make hand painted chocolate candies infused with many different flavors. Our daughter-in-law loved them! I bought a huge peanut butter cup and a slice of chocolate mousse cake. Couldnt have made a better choice! It is a little pricey so bring a fat wallet. The girl that helped up was awesome as well. Well def be back.

This store has everything a chocolate lover wants! Initially, I was overwhelmed with the bonbon selection, but I was quickly helped by Carolyn. She took me on a journey of the chocolate making process and walked me through the tasting notes in several of the bonbons. She couldnt have been more friendly and helpful! Stopped by after dinner just to check out the spot. Nice coffeshop style chocolate store. They have some unique chocolate pieces. Attached is an area with live music and tabled seating. This would definetly be a great date spot.

We sampled lots of different chocolates and they are all amazing. Tony was so nice to my kids and talked dinosaurs with us while we looked. He even gave a free chocolate to each of my kids!

This place is beyond words! Tony and his brother Arman are awesome guys, helping with this family owned business! I literally cant even begin to list the multitude and diversity of the food and drink available here! Everything from Wine, to Chocolates, to Crepes, and everything inbetween! Super sad I moved to Austin and dont get to enjoy these treats anymore, going to have to wait till the winter and have some of my friends in Dallas mail me some goodness from here!

This place is incredible. Ive made a couple purchases from here over the years, but had the fine privilege of meeting one of the owners on a random Good Friday walk in before Easter seeking something special for my children. She took the time to educate my children & me on how they make different pieces. She toured a quaint banquet hall next door thats set up for live jazz. They have live music several nights a week along with wine pairings and small bites. They even have chocolatier classes by appointment where you can color your own chocolate & learned in depth about the process. The owner was even featured in Forbes magazine this year. Highly recommended. Perfect for any occasion, or no occasion at all. You MUST give them a shot!!!
