This is a beautiful facility with a wide range of programming in a very unlikely place. you owe it to yourself to take a trip just passed the design district to check out this remarkable theater.when you do go, be sure to tell the parking attendants that you are attending the theater and they will send you right to the lot.I went to see Magic Mike in his family performance scheduled the first Saturday of every month. The show was entertaining, lively, and engaging for everybody in the audience no matter what the age. Being there let me see all the other remarkable improvisational comedy performances, classes, and other events that Stomping Ground has to offer. They also offer classes and events tailored for the neurodiverse. Its pretty cool.Check them out.
We saw Puffs. The show was amazing. The venue was ok. There were no paper towels in the bathrooms 30 minutes before showtime. The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. I understand that budget for seating is probably not a priority but hopefully they can upgrade sometime soon. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and will go back for more shows.
This is by far the most collaborative and inviting theater Ive been to in Dallas, full stop. They have classes for improv. They do corporate events. They even do special needs classes. This place is really something special. They also do frequent shows. So if you are looking to laugh, stop by and check em out!
Small and intimate, byob comedy features some troupe(s) for an easygoing night out. Many of the comics are young, new, and still developing their craft, and it can be a fun way to experience new talent. Just think, maybe one of these comics could be the star you can say you them back when.

My husband and I love seeing Improv shows, so we googled to find somewhere for date night this past weekend and found Stomping Ground Comedy Theater. Such a neat place! Hilarious troupes and really helpful employees. Will for sure be back!
Small stage & theater with a short show (~45 minutes), but it was a good show. Not many people outside of the cast were there. Will be back.
Love this place, been taking lessons here for 6 months, amazing community, amazing teachers. My favorite teacher is Greg. LEARNED SO MUCH! Love them to death, we are so lucky to have them here. Thanks for everything, guys!

Stomping ground is a ground breaking community that combines laughter and genuine care to those in need. So inspired by the hard working individuals who have worked tirelessly for such a wonderful cause. Not only is everyone talented but they also have so much heart! Laughter truly is the best medicine!!

Had such a great time at the opening show for Stomping Ground! My cheeks hurt at the end of the night because I had such a smile on my face. Because it was such a fun night, I signed up for one of the Improv for Life classes. My mom and I were looking for ways to deal, or maybe a better choice of words is communicate, with my grandmother. So the caretakers for dementia patients class was perfect. I learned some skills that taught me that she needs to still feel validated. And new skills to help me NOT go insane when shes in repeat mode. I love that Stomping Ground is not just a comedy group, but a group that is doing good for the community!
Comedy plus so much more. Stomping Ground has kids camps, Improv for Life program, training and classes, etc. The director is amazing with kiddos, teens, and adults. I have been really impressed with the staff as well. This place feels like a family!
