As am typing this, one of the last group is dying. Yet another diseased fish, making the eighth of 12 fish I’ve purchased from this store in the past few months. Listing all of the standard caveats I know you’ll come with as this community does, the answer is yes, I did that and didn’t do that and no, not everyone has a quarantine tank or hospital tank. My expectations are to buy healthy fish from a dealer who stands behind them. Especially, considering this store’s prices are much higher than my normal haunts but it’s in a much more convenient location.By the reviews, It may just be me but 8 in 3 months is a little more than coincidence. I mentioned it to the salesperson that I lost the last of what I purchased on two separate occasions hoping the person might be curious, ask some questions or maybe look up at me but he acted as though I had not spoken.My current tank is strong and no other losses from my existing stock. We do frequent water changes with a deep cleaning each month. I have no other explanation for the losses other than the stock I purchased was in ill standing prior to purchase. I would recommend isolation of new fish if you have that set up. I am simply an enthusiast and not really interested in setting up my house around the hobby.

This place is awesome! Very competitive prices of both freshwater and saltwater fish. Corals are also very well priced. Been shopping at several fish stores in DFW and this little boutique seems to be my top choice for saltwater fish and corals. Also, staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this fish store for those looking for fresh/saltwater fish, corals, aquatic plants and other supplies.

Great prices! Good selection. Helpful staff. If you want inexpensive corals, this is the place. The fish are also very competitively priced. Check around and youll come back here every time.The angelfish are underpriced in my opinion and the clownfish are a good value compared to other stores in the area.We will always be coming here first if they have what were looking for.

Small, clean store with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bought some gorgeous cardinal tetras and rummy nose tetras and two beautiful Bosemani rainbows. I dont have a marine tank anymore, but they have a nice selection of marine fish and live corals also.

Great place. Conh is very knowledgeable and doesn’t seem to mind my 20 questions about my reef tank, every time I go in. They don’t have the biggest selection, but it is always unique. Super clean tanks and store in general. One of my favorite saltwater stores!

If I could give this store more stars I absolutely would. The staff are super nice and knowledgeable, their fish and coral are beautiful and I believe they are the best fish store in all of the DFW area. We needed some fish bags last minute to transport our fish and the staff were more then willing to help us out, they even educated us on the proper way we should relocate our fish and assisted us in finding the right size bags. I can happily say that they survived the trip without a single scratch and they are loving their new location. This store was a life savor and I do not think the fish would have survived without their help. I would recommend this store for everyones fish goods and services.

Absolutely wonderful the owner helped me with my algae problem its so sad im so far away from them I would go there everyday the owner has so much information about his job and the tanks are beautifully decorated and kept clean the absolute best fish store

Polite staff, clean facility and decent dry goods. It could use some more variety and depth in supplies. The prices are a little high, but somewhat on par for Dallas saltwater livestock, not to mention that it is a small business and has overhead to cover. So, overall, the prices are understandable... and they arent outrageous.

Awesome little exotic fish store. They have a good collection of aquatic plants and everything else you need to create an awesome fish tank. They also have a great variety of fish foods.

My favorite fish store to buy RO and Saltwater for my tanks! They have a descent stock of freshwater and saltwater fish, some really nice coral tanks, and really good pricing on supplies! Their display tanks are awesome, and they can set you up with a great quality system.

This fish shop is by far the BEST fish shop I’ve been to! They have such a great selection of fish.The fish are VERY healthy and look great! It is a family owned business. The staff and owners are very nice people. I trust them with all of my fish needs. They will answer all of your questions without rushing you and greet you with a very friendly smile when you walk in.I recommend this to shop to anyone that is looking to by new fish for the first time to someone who’s had fish for years and needs a reliable shop they can depend on.Just check them out and see for yourself!

Knowledgeable & polite staff with great customer service

Just picked up a new Innovative Marine 40 tank from them love it. Its under new owner ship. I always had a good vibe walking in the door b4 but now its even nicer. One of the cleanest shops in town if not the cleanest. Its not a big place but the staff are good at what they do so you wont leave unhappy!!!!

Beautiful and exotic fish store, tanks and products.

Saw this place was open and popped in and was greeted by the staff, which is nice. I must have been in before a restock because the plants and freshwater fish sections were bare, but everything was very clean and the stock looked healthy. Prices were maybe a little over market but still fair. Frag tanks looked nice but did not have a huge variety of corals. I will come back soon and hopefully see this store fully stocked.

I walk in after having breakfast at Cindis in the same strip mall. I was immediately greeted by the store manager, and he was very friendly. I was with two other people and glanced around the shop and had a few questions answered by the manager. He is very informative! I decided to go home and think about what I wanted to purchase. As the day went on, I researched online. There was no better deals, The Big Little Fish Store had the best prices, and might I add, amazing customer service! I drove back up to the store, and was greeted back in by the manager, and the owners were there too. I bought a 40 gallon saltwater tank, and the owner and store staff drove to my apartment to hell setup the tank. Ive never experienced such amazing customer service! Whoever reads this, pleaze purchase at this store! They deserve your business! This is a great place for salt water enthusiast. Their fish and corals are extremely healthy and they carry A LOT of brand name equipment for the same price that it is online. Their staff is very kind and knowledgeable. I bought a tank here the other day and they even offer shipping for the Dallas area!The corals they carry are so healthy and vivid it is unreal. They also sell frags and dryrock!Update- Bought a 120 tank from them and they even helped deliver it. These guys rock!

Great fish/corals and excellent customer service, cant get much better than this.

The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly but the pictures do not represent the store very well. The selection is tiny compared to nearly every other fish store. Almost like they took an outlet phone store and converted to a fish store. Need to expand the selection to continue to attract new customers or carry a very rare select fish that cannot be found anywhere else, but have two tanks dedicated to typical angel fish is a poor business decision when you only have a very small selection of fresh water fish.

The owner was very helpful & knew lota of information on the different kinds of corals for the size aquarium you have.

If youre on the fence about checking this place out, just do it. The guys working were very friendly and were ready to answer any questions. They are a brand new store, so everything is modern and clean. Fish were healthy and perky. I will be returning to this store!

Great new store. Went in and had several questions. I was given plenty of time and they easily explained the answers to my questions. I didnt feel rushed or put aside. Like its name explains, it is a small shop but very clean and well ran.

I went there today after finding them on Google and being curious as I was looking for rummy nose tetras. Its lovely. The gentleman working was very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the conversation while he got my rummy noses and some flame guppy males (i probably have the guppy name wrong but man were they gorgeous, like little candle flames). Definitely knew his stuff on fish, which is refreshing, and he was super careful of the fish while catching then. The tanks were immaculate and the fish all had full color. Really pleased with this place. I may be in trouble because its on my way home from work. Haha. Wonder if my husband would mind another aquarium in the house... I mean, once your have 3, whats the difference at 4? Lol.
