I love this aquarium. Great for kids. Its not huge but its one of the only animal places thats interactive. My kiddos love touching the rays and anemones and urchins. Always an enjoyable experience. We went during the state fair so it was pretty busy but for $6, this place cant be beat for a kid visit. Its included with the Pogo Pass so if you have one, use it!

Really cool place to take the kids. They got to pet starfish, sea urchins & stingrays, see the baby sharks feed, and do lots of other cool things here. It was $22 for me, my wife, 2 kids to go (one kid was free due to age). It wasn’t that crowded for a Sunday, and the whole family enjoyed it. I didn’t even know about this place despite living in Dallas for 15+ years, but we’ll be back!

Its a lovely little aquarium. Everyone who works there is very friendly. The gift shop is what youd expect. The stingray area is always the highlight. Its right next to the butterfly garden; we plan to make a whole day next time as the aquarium doesnt take much longer than 1.5 hours maximum to tour around a few times with little ones. You can take pictures (minus the flash), its encouraged. They have snack/drink machines and clean restrooms. The cost is $8 per person. Parking is free (at least when the fair isnt happening). It makes for a very affordable and enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend.

This was a pretty cool attraction at the State Fair. There were quite a few of tanks with various fish. There was also an area where you could look down into a tank at some black tip sharks. There was also an area where you could touch some sting rays. Great place to check out for kids of all ages.

Cost about $24 for our family of 5 to get in. It was awesome because they have a rescued loggerhead turtle female and we happened to catch the feeding time for her and the sharks. The rest had a few cool things, like a massive grouper, shark and puffer fish, but everything else just reminded me of trips to the Mystic Aquarium as a kid. Same fish over and over. But when youre a kid, that stuff is cool. So Im glad I paid for my girls. Sucks we had to pay to get the three adults inside to watch the children have fun lol.

We had a blast here. The price is totally worth it. Kids had a lot of space to run around. The only downside we came when some animals were not in their exhibit so we missed out on some cool ones. Also if you come during the weekend and they happen to be having a big event at fair park they will charge you for parking.

For a childrens aquarium, this place goes above and beyond to provide both a fun loving, and educational experience for all. The workers are very engaging to the entire audience which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. My adopted grandsons birthday party was at the Childrens Aquarium at Fair Park and we had a blast! The partys theme was The Lion King and the staff got out of the way and let the decorators, Chris and Felecia, do their jobs, but were there to assist when needed. That party room was perfect for the theme, the party size and the time length of our party. The aquariums party hosts kept the children and parents engaged with all that the aquarium had to offer. When we went to the party room, we felt as if we were in a scene from The Lion King ...music included. The staff helped us clean the room and helped us take everything to the vehicles to transport everything home. Kudos!

We hope to come back to see more new fun exhibits.

We enjoyed getting to feed the sting Rays & put our hands in to feel them they come right to you it made us laugh they reminded us of excited puppies ready for pets & treats the lady working the sting ray area was very friendly, nice, laughed, joked, visited with us & answered all our questions.

So amazing! Its not as big as I thought it would be but what they have there is so worth going to see and being able to touch and feed the sting rays is absolutely the best! Its the first time I ever got to touch one and they come right up to you and stick their heads out of the water for a little petting. They swim by and let you touch them. They had a small baby whitish grey one that is my favorite and he/she would come right up to you and keep his head out of the water and loved being petted a lot!!! I would recommend this for all ages to go and experience! And last but not least my most favorite is they have two rescue sea turtles there that come right up to the glass to greet you! I love that they saved these two beautiful lives!

My sons absolutely would not stop licking the glass while looking at the fish. I’m pretty sure they honey the glass for some reason? But I digress, my kids got kicked out for licking the honey off the glass, but we loved our time there before the police escorted us out. I didn’t get any charges, but the kids now live in the juvenile detention center (for unrelated reasons). These fish honestly did me a favor, my kids are bonkers. Maybe it runs in the family, maybe it’s just the influence of the neighbors kids with the long arms. Never get too close.

The food was great (chilaquiles) and our server was friendly/ attentive. The main drawback here is that the tables are crowded. I dont blame them for trying to maximize profit by fitting more tables in such a small space, but it may bother some people with claustrophobia or anxiety issues. Excellent aquarium for kids! I think any kid under 14 would enjoy this aquarium a lot. Our very young kids had a blast. Took us a little over an hour to go through. It is fairly small, but perfect sized for children. There are many interactive touch opportunities and the staff was great. We especially liked the 230p feeding event in the Stingray Bay outside area. There is a glass viewing area on the lower level where the staff made sure to feed the sharks, turtle and fish directly in front of the glass so the kids could see the fish get eaten (the food was a about 8-12in fish cut in half). It was enjoyable for us adults too.The souvenir medallion coin machine was not working great (will have to see how much our card was charged). We eventually got one to come out (only one).To get here, make sure to enter fair park via Gate 6 and then parking is on either side in good sized lots.

At a cost of $8.00 I can’t complain. My 1 1/2 year old grandson loved being able to walk and stop when he was interested and move on when he was ready. Lots if room for strollers and ramps but open enough safe areas for toddlers to have freedom of seeing without being in someone’s arms. And when he saw a lobster, he immediately back away since it scared him. There are touching experiences as well.
