It was a thrill to see one of Oregon’s covered bridges. It’s always a bit surreal to pass along a single lane road in the US because we are so used to having wide lanes. The notion that you actually have to look ahead and see if anyone is approaching is somewhat foreign to the American driving psyche. That being said, it has a charming bit of history and if you take a moment to pull off the main and addle up to the white railings you might find something you didn’t expect.
Beautiful day for a walk. Love seeing Oregons covered bridges. Wish people would stop adding their own artistic touches to them though. Photoshop your wedding and graduation dates into your photos. Stop writing them on the walls.
Very pretty bridge but a boring walk up to it. Parking is very far away with non motorized vehicle access only.
Tough to access and no place to park; street is pedestrians only
Quite loved seeing old covered bridges
I dont know why other covered bridges even try. This is clearly the best covered bridge in the continental states. Small low-key but where all the cool kids run. Wether you want to rest in the shade or preform graffiti art under it, this bridge is down for anything.
Nice walk
Well traveled but Peaceful
The development of Top supported bridges may have started with such small experimental bridges.!!
Iconic Corvallis place. Great spot to enjoy Marys Peak view on the way to the bridge.
