This is a lovely place for a walk. If you park near the east entrance there is a gravel parking lot and short road to bring you closer to the trail head. Because of the flooding, that parking lot and road are very washed out and inaccessible. If you can get around the pool sized pot holes, however, the trail is paved and absolutely pristine. It is a cement sidewalk, and then boardwalk through lovely fields and the Marys River flood plane. The trail is fairly short. Keep your dogs on a leash. At the end ofthe boardwalk you can wander through the field on a man made trail down to the river, but there is no easy access to the water. It is a steep, clay bank. But the water is beautiful to watch. Allergy alert! Lots of pollen sharing plants :)
This is a great place to enjoy the weather, park, family and more. It also provided a great place to swim and fun architecture for kids to play on
Lots of swimming holes up and down the whole river on both sides
Perfect little swimming hole for kids. If you dont like noise and dogs dont go,lol.
They did a wonderful job with the walkway and boardwalk. Its a nice short little walk, wish it was a loop, but given all the hurdles that had to be overcome to build the existing walkway, Im happy that its there at all.
The new boardwalk is very nice. But its not very long in any one direction. This place is still a work in process. Rough parking lot at one end the subdivision Road for parking and another part and no bathrooms anywhere.
A nice walk in a beautiful neighborhood.
Nice little area for a quiet intown walk. It has a beautiful view of the marsh land and tends to be quiet. Eventhough when we showed up there was a few college guys drinking and talking. They seemed to be low key and didnt diatured us during our visit here
Beautiful walk
Hitting Creek smallies
This place sucks lol. The boardwalk apparently washed out. Theres only a couple hundred feet of paved walkway over a wetland. Nothing to really see.
