Wonderful setting and environment for both my grandparents and mother to live at. Realistic prices are set for each lot and home and the managers are very personable. I feel very comfortable having my family living in this safe, secure, and friendly environment.
I live in the apartments next to them they always have friendly people there. They have occasional garage sales. And yes this trailer park is for 55 and older. And I do not hear about ANY drug issues there. I think if I were older it would be a great, quiet place to live ~the girl next door
We love it here, I look forward to 4th of July parade.
My husband & I tried to buy a home here and was obstructed by management at every turn. First they insisted we had to have a particular kind of income (must be pension, annuity, social security or a job) and no matter how much assets/investments you have, they dont care. We have substantial assets yet they required a cosigner. They said Money can go away. Well, so can jobs and pensions. 80% of baby boomers do not have anything like this and this is a 55+ park. We were buying cash for $35k but they acted like we had no skin in the game. Then after taking over 2 weeks to decide said they approved us. Then informed us that we couldnt sign the lease until after we bought the mobile home and could not move in until then. We werent officially approved by management since we never met the manager and we were told initially that was a requirement. So our choices were to refuse to buy a home we might never move into or stop the whole process. Management put us in a catch-22, took $135 for credit, background & criminal checks and then made it impossible for us to buy. Just outrageous and ridiculous not to mention a rip-off.
After selling our home and land we searched all over the Willamette Valley for just the right mobile home park to live in. Could not find the place we could call home until someone recommended Meadow Park Mobile Estates to us. We knew within 10 minutes that it was the place we wanted to live. The people we met driving around the Park were friendly, out getting exercise in the rain, and very happy with their community. My husband and I could not be happier and feel it the best decision we could have ever made. We moved here last April 2017 and truly enjoy the Park which is backed up to a large green-belt. The lovely Village Green City Park is just a couple of blocks down the street from us and Jackson/Fraiser wetlands with its raised boardwalk trails is about 6 blocks from us. As soon as we decided where we wanted to live, we got ourselves pre-qualified with management. The parks financial and background requirements were very reasonable. Management was helpful and easy to work with. The monthly rent is $485 which includes T.V/Wi-Fi., Water and sewer, and Garbage pick-up. The Park Club House has a variety of activities for people to participate in and enjoy. One of the qualities of the Park is that the folks that live here are helpful but not intrusive and really value others privacy so we can be as busy or non-involved as we wish. Very quiet, safe, place to live for folks 55 and over. We love it!
Every one I know that lives there, loves it
