Beautiful gem. More hiking trails would be nice. Parts are like Arabia mountain.

Be Careful! Today marks the 3rd time nearly being bit by an UNLEASHED large dog on the trails. I carry a small pocket knife for protection.

Watch out for snakes pls i ran into a rattle snake and almost got bit than 5 min after fishing a water snake xame out of nowhere. Amazing park tho

Love the area. Need to go to Black Shoals Creek Park to get to this Recreation Area. The route via Google maps is incorrect.
