The best thing about Concord temple, its simplicity and the fact that donations are always voluntary. In some places, they put prices on different services and call that a donation.Also like the priest here who always welcome everyone and take personal attachment as much as possible.

The Lord Shiva Murugan Temple in Concord is a holy worshipping place for Hindus. People especially South Indians residing all over the state of California in USA use to visit Concord and worship The Lord Muruga and His elder brother Lord Ganesha deities to whom regular poojas and special occasion poojas are performed by the saints after decorations with flowers and dresses. Devotees use to bring prasadams to the temple and worship the Lord Muruga and the Lord Ganesha regularly especially in the weekend days. Bharatha Natya Dance Programmes are periodically performed in the Temple by the girl children of the Hindu people. Prasadams as food is provided to the devotees after the main Aradhana Pooja is over. The temple is having the required parking lot and rest room facilities.The temple is being managed by a committee members dedicated to the development of it. The entire credit goes to one philanthropist Naattu Kottai Chettiar who originally funded for its establishment long ago with a little money which paved a way for its grand development. The expansion plan of the temple furthermore is also on the way in a big way.

Beautiful place of worship . Priests are exceptional. Volunteers do a great job assisting with Parking and Prasadam distribution. Very peaceful and full of positive energy.

Thai Poosam Walk organized by the temple is marvelous. Devotees are blessed to see Thirukalyanam.

Smaller compared to Livermore. Check for the Pooja timings before you start - we went around 6:45 on a Saturday evening and the arathi was around 7:45 ish.It was our first time - looked like limited street parking, but the parking lot in the nearby bank is open for devotees in the evenings.

We went around 730PM on Sunday and had a divya darshan. Around 50 people were in the temple, attended the evening Pooja, Parking was easy and nearby credit union parking

If need divine and peace, visit this Temple and spend some time inside the temple.

Nice temple. Clean and calm. It doesnt look like a traditional temple with Gopuram.On normal days You got to use the side entrance to get in to the basement and use the stairs to go to the mezzanine floor where the sanctum is.

I had been to this temple long time back in 2014 or so.. from outside it is bit difficult to identify this as a temple but once you enter inside.. it is so peaceful and feels like a spiritual place.. there are multiple deity there and you can sit there, pray and be calm for few min.I would definitely recommend it..

Very cute little temple that used to be a church before. When we went, it was not crowded at all and there was no pressure to pray and leave. We spent a few minutes praying and then a few more meditating. We will be going back.

Good temple for Lord Murugan. Lord Ganesha, Goddess Amman are also present. All prayers are done as per Hindu religion. Hindu festivals are celebrated with proper Pooja.

One of the oldest temples in Bay Area, it is managed by very good time committee and committed priests that perform pujas in South Indian style. If you never been here, plan to visit in an occasion such as today, for Ganesh Chaturdhi, to see the Hindu traditions and rituals in action. On Sundays, Abhisheka is performed for one of the deities - a tradition that is being continued over a decade.
