Fun park lots of shady areas to sit. Large grassy area for pets to run around. Only downfall is finding out where to park to get there. I suggest trying to access from neighborhood behind it.
Soo nice to see all the kids play and follow the covid-19 restrictions
Nice park to get a short run in, for those of us who like a little shade when jogging.
Right now theres a barrier alive the playground, but obviously its been quite ignored and trampled. Didnt bother me, this park is fantastic
This is home and where I grew up... It was Concord Boulevard Neighborhood Park and and we called it Hood Park and still belong to the Hoods a group of Low Riders that always hung out there and every Labor Day we have had a Hood Reunion but not this year because of the virus... Now alot of us the grew up in the neighborhood go to it... It is like a family reunion...
Love going there to relax, nice place.
There were a bunch of dogs off leash. Is that permitted when the sign said dogs must be on leash?
Clean park and lots of shaded areas to walk and relax
What a cute and clean park. My grandson had a blast! Great mix of things to play on. Even for a one year old!
A hidden gem. Its easy to miss this beautiful, medium-sized park if youre not looking for it. Though its right next door to Concord High School, very few people use the park, so on a typical day youre likely to have it all to yourself.
Nice park tucked away so typically pretty empty which our daughter loves since she can go on every slide.
A very nice quiet open park. Trees, grass, playground. Been going there since it was built in the 70s
Good amount of shade, safe, not crowded (like Heather Farm) and cleaner than half the other parks in Concord. The only down side is the lack of dedicated parking. I am more concerned for the surrounding neighborhood than anything else. We love the park for our little ones, which matters more than anything else.
Beautiful park. Attended Nor cal VW and Porsche car show
My fav place
No comment.
Great place for kids and dogs! Beautiful well kept park
This park is... Sufficient. Theres a decent picnic/BBQ area under great shade. The play ground is ok. Theres a spinning element that some kid gets injured on everytime I go (hard to slow = eventually flying children). Theres not a lot of garbage and theyre mostly focused in the eating area with none near the playset. Parking sucks (drive past the park to loop through to the neighborhood behind for street parking). The bathrooms are like 1/4 MI from the playset, on the far end of the grass. It gets the job done, as far as parks go, but no fuss or frills.
Quiet, never crowded. Peaceful!
Nice place for old people and kids. Young people can enjoy doing sports.
Nice little neighborhood park.
Scenic and peaceful (for being on a busy street). There are four bathrooms near the street. Its big enough to walk laps and small enough not to get lost.
Great place to see the Blue Devils! Nice shade and good parking
Nice open park, enough room in the clearing to fly a kite. Dont expect to find parking on Concord Blvd though as it is a bike lane. Instead enter from Woodsdale Dr which is a cul-de-sac that opens to the back side of the park.
Great park close to home kids loved it
Small and safe playground. Open space/ grass for running, bike riding, kite surfing. Beware of holes throughout the meadow, the reason for the 3 stars.
Not my first choice, there was wet mud under the tanbark, and the restroom was to far for the little ones to make it
My nice and nephews love this place. Walk to it from home.
Great for families!
I was a beautiful park
Clean, lots of dogs, and friendly people
Had our wedding here!
Nice park. Lots of shade
Bellisimo
Excellent
Nice quiet park.
Nice park
Nice
Good
This is our kids favorite park. Not really busy. Parking is challenging. You.might have to park across the street on mendicino.
