Great park to get some exercise in.Wish it had better views and more parking.Trails are clearly marked. Some neat history and nature information along trail. Some trails are harder than others so definitely check out the online map which includes difficulty and length.
This is a good area to get out and enjoy the woods. Its convenient to a few neighborhoods and connects behind the Concord hospital. Nice little hikes with some uphill areas, be careful of bikers. Biking here is fun too, a few good downhill spots and a couple technical trails. The connection to Swope Park is a good ride/hike, with more trails to go on.
Great place to take the dog for a hike. Took the new trail backwoods loop was a little rough Overall recommend this as a safe place to hike. Wish the distance was listed on signRecently did the swope park trail. Easy to follow and a great trail. Just wish it was a loop. Definitely check this one out!
Great short hike with plenty of alternate trails to explore. Some great NH vistas too.
I didnt actually hike the trails at Winant park today. I discovered a trail that went to Swope Park and it was 1.6 miles each way. So I hiked that because I was curious. It was very well maintained! Unless somebody is completely color blind to red, it would be almost impossible to get lost on that trail. Also at the junctions they had very good signage. I would rate the trail as moderate for someone with my kind of disabilities. I wouldnt try to take a wheelchair on that trail. But there was handicapped parking at the Winant park parking lot where I started. Theres supposedly a handicapped accessible Trail at Winant park, and Im going to return one day and look for it :-)
My wife was so sexy and I had a great day
Great place to walk they need to clean it up better and start patrolling it better this was once a Great park but now you watch for dog poop on your walk
Not a good walk when the leaves are on the ground. Too many rocks and roots on the path.
Great during the day, scary at night...
A gem on the western side of Concord. I helped create this park honoring one of New Hampshires greatest unknown heroes. I love how many people use these trails.
A great hike and the trails are well marked, has beautiful scenery with many educational posts about the park and surrounding areas, ice cleats are recommended, dog friendly park,
Nice clean quiet place to rest.
Well marked trails for MTB
I needed a little more movement after a day of skiing in NH and this little gem of a 3.2 mile hike from Winant Park to Marjory Swope Park and back was the perfect apres ski activity. It was a little mushy (I wore the absolutely wrong footwear), but the setting sun,and brown leaf carpet was a tannic and still wonderland.
Great walking trails. Also a great place for trail riding. Its easy enough for small children. Its a great place to take the family for a little hike. This time of year its beautiful.
Nice place to have a walk with the family or friends but some areas were full of trashes.
My niece and I love walking around these trails
Close to downtown. Quiet, well kept trails. Peaceful walk. Worth a visit at lunchtime.
Great place to take the family but the guide was unacommodating.
Great place for an evening hike
Not really wheelchair accessible
A lovely trail for family hikes and trail runs alike.
Love
Nice trails and easy for kids to hike also. Very clean and quiet right in the city.
Great views and reasonably easy trails.
Great little hike.
Well maintained trails that lead to hours of fresh air and beautiful scenary. Pet friendly and people friendly.
Great place for those who need to a nature recharge in a short period of time!
Nice trails for short hikes, especially like the connector trail to Swope Park!
Very easy trail with a free parking!
Im not sure we were in the park. The trail was rocky and very uneven.
Great, easy hike
Great area with some short hikes; great in all seasons. Good for the kids too
Beautiful vistas on this well-maintained network of trails
One of my favorite local hikes.
Winant Park offers hiking and mountain biking trails, with connections to trails in Marjorie Swope, Concord Quarries, St Pauls School, and more. There are so many trails it can be easy to get turned around!
Beautiful Winter hiking
Fun for Togo
Great view of sunsets
