Its a beautiful trail! Weve hit it 3 times since someone recommended it. Make sure you grab a map, because the area is actually 3 overlapping trails in 1. (Outer loop is Gans Creek Trail, plus Wagon Wheel trail.)Bug spray is a must-have, and it gets pretty muddy in spots after some rain. Its lightly trafficked, weve run into one person at most each time weve been on the trail system. As a result, theres a good chance youll run into off leash dogs.
I loved going here. It was nice to get out and see nature.
Nice place to get on trail. Usually lots of horse trailers here, parking limited.
Its nothing. And its everything I wanted it to be.
A nice walk, though there are a lot of horse dropping
This review is based only on my first time visiting.Cons:Parking area only accommodates about 4 cars.Trail is only open from sunrise to sunset.Pros:Trails seem to be marked well.ABSOLUTELY NO litter seen.Only saw 1 other group in my 3 hours there, and that was near the trailhead.Wonderful view at the overlook.Maps were available.
Love Rock Bridge Memorial State Park for day riding during equestrian season (July 1 through October 31). Trails may also be closed to horses when wet or muddy. Shooting Star Trailhead is only access with much trailer parking along Bonne Femme Church Rd.
Makeout point ..... the creek.... the woods. Great hiking trail.
Beautiful trail with plenty to look at.
Beautiful spot with a great cliff overlook
Nice overlooks. Nice and moderately easy hiking. Please pick up your dog waste while traversing the trails and watch for horsey road apples.
