Today was my first time at Saluda Shoals park and I have to say that the new playground is absolutely beautiful. I love the turf so kids can be safe and as care free to able to just worry about playing ( which should be every kids only responsibility). My daughter had a blast running up and down the ramp. I love the fact that its made also for kids that may have disabilities or not capable of using their motor skills normally. I love the over look of the small pond which is guarded with a fence and the small waterfall that just relaxes the atmosphere. I really love everything about it.

We went for a one day visit . We enjoyed canoeing, it was the first time my family and I did. It wasnt much open ofcourse so its hard to completely rate the park. Nice scenery and the kids loved Leo park . My husband wanted to fish but dock area was closed but it was ok.

This is a beautiful park. I went because of the walking trails and dog park, however there appears to be many other seasonal activities. Part of the park abuts the Saluda River providing opportunities for fishing, tubing, and kayaking. There is also a water spray park for young childrenI only walked one of the trails. It was well maintained. There are several more left for me to explore. I took my dog to the dog park. There is a nice expanse of open field as well as a wooded shaded area. A few agility obstacles are also located in the shaded area. Tubs of water are available for the dogs to dunk themselves in as well as buckets for drinking water and a spraying fire hydrant. Benches and tables are available to the dogs people.Daily admission is $5 per day. The dog park is only available after paying a yearly fee, $40.

Great park! I do wish they had swings. But the splash pad is fantastic! Plenty big enough and the water timer is genius. Keeps the kids guessing! We enjoy it. There is a fee. $5 to enter the park and $3 per child for the splash pad. There is a ton to do I recommend looking at the website and making a full day of it.

I absolutely love the new Leos Landing park! Its amazing to finally have an affordable, all inclusive play location for children in Columbia! It has something for everyone. I could even see it being a great location to have an Occupational Therapy field trip! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this park.Saluda Shoals was fun to visit before Leos Landing; so many trails, a splash pad, river access, etc. But Leos Landing is definitely our favorite part now! Thank you for providing a safe place to play for our community.

Ive always loved coming here for walks and fishing. Recently we bought the fishermans pass for my husband. $65 and we can go 24hrs. No more $5 parking. The pass is 100% worth the money. Also if you have little ones the splash pad is wonderful. Its $3 for each person. They have so many different sprinklers. Just watch for the bigger kids and dont forget sunscreen. They have picnic tables and a playground right next to it. It makes for a perfect family day.

Lovely park! It seems to be well-designed and well-kept. Some of the signage is a bit small when youre driving and trying to read it, but its not too terrible. The young man at the front entrance was friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. The shelter that our group reserved was very nice - clean and in good shape. I didnt use the restrooms myself, but I heard no complaints from my group. Lots of activities going on around us: hiking, biking, dog-walking (plus a dog park), splash pad, climbing structures, fishing, canoeing, tubing, and grilling. Many people in the park, but it didnt feel over-crowded. Ill definitely be back during the summer and hope to also return for the Christmas lights.

I have been a member for years. Probably one of the best parks in the whole state of South Carolina. They maintain playgrounds the water park and they have access to the river nice access. And I go to the Christmas lights every year that is not included in the membership. But worth paying every single time.they keep adding more every year and they lower the prices on the hot cocoa which makes sense now.

Great park but there are a few issues...River Basin Shelter tables are not cleaned and maintained. My family had a bbq there last week and all the tables where covered in spider webs and spiders. Only other issue I have is charging $3 per child to go in the splash pad. We already pay $5 to get in the park, it should be included. Every other park does not charge an extra fee for the splash pad.

Nice park. It would have been nice to know about the fees and extra costs associated before going to the activities (i.e. splash pad, dog park, etc cost extra beyond the entrance fee, which we also didnt know about before hitting the gate). It was a nice park, but the splash pad was pretty minimal, especially since they charge extra for its use.

We had a nice 3.5 mi hike and saw a Bard Owl sitting in a tree very near the path looking for a squirrel. This park has plenty of paths for hike or bike. We also observed people tubing. I did not find out about put in/take out but I am sure the staff knows

Beautiful place all year round. Great for kids.. I consistantly go to the lights show every winter because they just beautiful. Awesome place! I think the 3.00 for the splash pad is too much for what it is but this is a great place. We were in a picnic area close to parking so that made for easy transition of items. The rental price for reserving the area is not bad either. I think the road to get to the park should be widened in the future.

This park is beautiful and has lots of activities for families year round. In the warmer months there is a large, shaded playground that could entertain kids for hours. Adjacent to the playground there is a splash pad. You have to pay a few dollars extra for the splash pad but it is really fun for younger kids- probably 10 and under. During Christmas this park is turned in to a winter wonderland! The Christmas light display is one of a kind and so fun to drive through. You can also bike ride, kayak, hike and more and there is a building that you can rent for special occasions and meetings.

Big playground and splash pad (sprinklers and fountains) for kids. Costs $5 for parking and $3 per person for splash pad. Adults do not have to get a wristband unless you want to get in on the splash pad. I would recommend this for kids under ten. There is a drink machine and restrooms. There is nowhere to buy food. A lifeguard is present.

The people at the gate should be more aware of visitors. I went here for the first time with my boys, I asked a young man where to go and he just pointed instead of providing resources to guide myself around. We also were not told about charge for splash pad at the time of arrival. Thankfully I had cash to pay the lady on duty at that location.
