Realizing my visit was during COVID, I would have to say I was pleases to fund the restrooms open and the grounds clean. I wish the field had been mowed recently but that doesnt take away from how much we enjoyed the park. Playground is in a shaded area and the tennis courts are well maintained as well.

Great little park in south Columbia. Next to Atholton elementary school. Two tennis courts. Two pickleball courts. Public restrooms. Large open field. Paved paths through neighborhood for walkers. Plenty of parking. Can get very busy for pickleball since these are only outdoor public courts in Howard County. Very nice.

There is a great kids playground and swings. The elementary school playground and fields are right there too.

Google has Atholton Park listed as a dog park. According to the parks and rec website, Atholton Park IS NOT a dog park.
