Traveled down here Harrisburg because I missed this stop when I stayed here a few weeks ago. There is kayaking and boat ramps for launching. Peaceful and quiet with all the sounds of nature you need.

Newly constructed welcome center. They have an amazing hand carved canoe replica in their lobby. When we went they also had a naturalist who brought out this rescued owl.

Enjoyable bike trail and walking path. I enjoy the turns and slight rolling hills. It is. Ice to walk along the river. There is a nice parking spot and signage to know where to go/start.

Beautiful, Peaceful & So relaxing here!! I love just sitting on a bench watching the river!! This park is Very family & pet friendly! There pretty much parking available, including car, trailer & boat parking. Theres a dock & ramp thats very accessible! Love, love this park!! Its well- kept, & extremely clean! Including the bathrooms!

Kayak/canoo put-in spot is a little rough. Would like to see it fortified a little better like the motor boat spot. Other than that very nice location and facility

We got out to stretch our legs and kill some time. It was pretty but there was some glass pieces so we had to watch out with the kids. The kids looked carefully and picked up some great skipping rocks. Bridge was pretty.

Went here 4th of July 2020 and experienced greatness. One of the best nights of my life!! The outfitters took us out on the river in kayaks, watched the sun go down and the moon come up. Dark was followed by at least 10 different displays of amazing fireworks on the guides were great and gave us freedom to explore but watched over us. Met new friends too!! Wiill be a yearly thing from noe one. Drove an hour to do this and I would drive 3! Couldnt capture a the true beauty with the camera but the eyes got the views!

It is so good especially sun set...but the parking lot is so limited..

Park has great parking lots. Pavilion seating for shaded lunch. Water bottle fill station. Lovely river views. Kayak and small boat ramp and the visitors center. Only down fall is you have to go over the railroad track and up the street before you can get on the walking trail, the traffic is a little rough to fight through to get to trail.

A great place to overlook the Susquehanna River. The building has a museum and an outdoor deck. Theres also a small walking trail and a boat ramp. If you come late in the day remember you are facing west and might have to deal with the sun.

This is my favorite place to watch the sun go down. I love the lights on the bridge, (so sad they turn them off for May flies) and sitting on the dock in the morning is gloriously peaceful. Beautiful spot!

Great park with a “marina building” that comprises restrooms, elevated pavilion and information areas. The park has a picnic pavilion, boating access ramp, parking area, canoe/kayak access area as well as a canoe/kayak rental hut, kiosk shoreline stabilization, floating docks, shoreline fishing access, and shoreline walkway.My only real complaint is that the River Trail goes straight across Front Street and then you need to follow along the sidewalk until the intersection with Chestnut Street and you have to cross both Front Street and Chestnut Street without the aid of a light or other method.

The bike trail is a fun experience. My son and I rode 8 miles and back .

Clean, great place to launch a kayak or other unpowered boat, plenty of places to set a goal to reach, can even rent a kayak if you dont own one, single and tandem, they charge by the hour and also do tours.

Looks like a great place to launch a boat and do some boating on the Susquehanna.

Some parts of the river trail force you cross a busy road a few times. Keep this in mind if you have little ones. Also not much of a view from the river trail unless you enjoy looking at train yards.

Clean and beautiful location!

Every time I drive through Route 30 I always want to see the old bridge but never stopped. The past Saturday I did. And I’m so happy that I did. Columbia is such a beautiful town. The river park is so serine. My wife and I love the antique stores in town. A truly place for someone who treasures old and valuables.

Great multi purpose trail.

Clean and scenic! Fun times for biking, kayaking, fishing and exploring! Parking right on the water front. On the Columbia side, theres tons of shopping and antique stores to check out!

Plenty of parking for bikers heading north on the Northwest River Trail to Bainbridge, PA. Beautiful view of the Rt 30 bridge.

Very nice tiny park that is basically just a small bit of grassy area and some fishing access. It is wheelchair accessible to the river with a nice dock that is also wheelchair accessible. Gorgeous views of the river and the bridge from Lancaster to York.

We rented a boat there was a beautiful place

Ever since I was little I loved to bike and this place is one of the few that I have thoroughly enjoyed going to. The biking trail has a great scenery of the river and is just very peaceful. Great place for just clearing your head or just need some exercise.

A really nice park, well kept with ample parking. Right on the river and the start of the Northwest River Trail, a great rail trail to enjoy.

Was there for 4th of July fireworks, bugs were terrible, i recommend standing on the Wrightsville bridge

Enjoyed coming to the park multiple times this summer. Kids like to watch the sun set. Was there last week to ride the rail trail to Bainbridge. Loved that the trail was paved. Just have to ride on the street for a short distance in Marietta to get back to the trail.

This is a really neat place along the river. I wish that it had some kind of simple concession stand for cold drinks and icecream. A beautiful, quiet place along the river. Having a dock there would also be helpful to draw people in to the town.

Nice clean

Closes early so beware, likely closed if you try to go after work. Inside is usually a nice gallery, some drinks and snacks and bathrooms. The deck is great though, rocking chairs

One of my favorite places to enjoy a scenic view of the susquehanna river.

The park is a nice place to visit other than the bird poop,its everywhere,you cant even let the children play in the grass its literally everywhere,even on the side walks,my grandchildren love looking at the birds but we dont visit much because of the bird poop .you should hire someone to hose the sidewalks down,,sometimes you even have the pool on the benches,not a pleasant sight to see or accidentally sit in it.other than that its a nice place to visit.

It tries to be all things to all people but its just become a congested mess on weekends.

The grounds are well kept and the view is beautiful! There is plenty of parking for cars with trailers/ boats. A great place to walk or read!

Very interesting small town water edged Park

This is the starting point of the River Trail bike and walking path along the Susquehanna River. The park itself is nicely kept with very clean restrooms and a covered balcony where you can eat a packed lunch and look out over the river. The trail has stops along the way where there are porta potties and one spot has a bike service area with an air pump and tools. There River can overflow onto the path at one point, but it only does so after a very heavy rain.

This is a really beautiful park to visit. The view of the Susquehanna river and the Wrightsville bridge are truly amazing. However it doesnt have a playground for children and you have to be careful allowing young ones to play In the grass by the river as theres no railing or anything to prevent them from falling in. Also theres a lot of poison ivy by the river. If you stay on the nice path or in the grassy area in the middle of it then its a great place for a picnic or a leisurely walk. Its a very dog friendly place and a great place to feed ducks and geese.

Nice park next to a river rich in history. They even have a huge covered back balcony that overlooks the Susquehanna river. Very peaceful here. Looking forward to coming back soon. Inside they also have a museum which changes themes from time to time.

Perfect view of the river. They have boat rental also. Dont know to much about that so I would definitely find out how much but I do know for a fact that you can. This is a perfect spot to go fishing also. This is a hot spot for the locals who walk there kids down here and also there dogs.

The trees provide the perfect environment for all the woodland critters and a place for humans to escape the sun. Need to cool off more? Just hop into the river for a nice relaxing dip.

Pretty views of the river with an interesting river/Columbia history exhibit. Public bathrooms available as well.
