Like Amy, it has become my “happy place,” and a great way for me to relax and unwind after the daily grind. I’ve been a member now for a little over 1 year and my experience at “The Creek” has only gotten sweeter over time... meeting new friends and improving (...or attempting to improve) my tennis skills on the court. Just a great cast of characters at this club and rarely a dull moment. Please come join us for a draft beer... or even a set of tennis, I can assure you we welcome our guests with open arms. Freddy offers many fun clinics almost nightly for beginners... as well as more experienced players. Private lessons are also available on a daily basis. Come see us!!!

You couldn’t ask for a better group of people that love tennis, a good time, and each other. There are plenty of opportunities for competitive and friendly tennis. Joining the tennis club has become my and my husband’s favorite part of living in Irmo.

I grew up near this course which is the only reason I ever played here. Ive never seen a course decline in condition so rapidly. I dont know how the owners can sleep at night charging people to play here. If you want a challenge finding your ball in the fairway due to 17 different species of weeds, grasses, plants, bushes, and ants, then youve found your place. The club sandwich is delicious.

Worst golf course in the area! Even though you can play at a low rate, spend a couple more dollars and go ANYWHERE else. The place is a hay field on hills, has LOTS of potential, but they need new management that understands the place is supposed to focus on playing golf, not sitting in the bar watching golf!!Probably a good place to have a drink, but definitely not a place to go for golf!!!

Bar tender is awesome, she hooked it up but other than that, not greatToo much money. Course has tons of potential but 33 dollars is a little high for inconsistent green speeds and honestly, some of the greens look like the surface of the moon. The fairways are decent but even if you hit it straight down the middle you may have to search for some good grass to put your ball. But going back for awhile hopefully something changes.

My favorite place to play.

By far the worst course I have ever played. The only thing worth $35 is the laughs that you get when putting on the greens. The greens look something like a small village that has had mortars rained on it for a week. Not to mention, the greens were thicker than a 40 year old Serbians bush. Playing golf here would be a great addition to ones bucket list.

Poor quality course, grass is worse than any course Ive played (not even backyard quality). Not worth the cheap price. You will walk away not wanting come back.

Update: In December 2017, the closed golf course and clubhouse were donated to the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Commission, which has opened the course for walking trails and plans to rehab the clubhousr as an event venue. The tennis and swim clubs were being run separately and may still be open.-----------------Used to be an OK place to take the kids to play, though the houses are too close and weird slopes made for an interesting day. But the golf course is closed and overgrown. Theyre only operating the swim and tennis clubs.The course land that winds through the Coldstream subdivision has been bought back by a company affiliated with the original developer, Mungo, and reportedly is being put under some kind of conservation easement.
