We went solely for a summer swim meet for my 2 kids under 10. Its a very bad place for a meet. The pool is small it was being skimmed while the meet was going on because there was so much debris in it and theres no blocks for the swimmers to jump from. Nice development and golf course, decent pool to cool off in if you belong to the country club but an awful pool for swim athletics

I had the honor of providing music for Mister John D. Monroes 80th birthday party. It was a wonderful experience. The venue was perfect. For a birthday party. Facility is clean, staff is friendly., plenty of parking and great food. I highly recommend Spring Valley Country Club.

Its a really fun course and it seems like they have it going in right direction. Looking forward to playing it in the spring. I learned to play here and have awesome memories of great times with my old buddies!

One of the meeting rooms was reserved for a meeting I was attending, so I didnt use the Country Club per se. The meeting room was definitely showing its age (was built in the 1970s) and the light appetizers which should have been served warm were cold, and I am talking about grilled veggies served much cooler than room temp. I dont know if the CC planned the food selection, which was an odd combination, so I didnt consider that for the purposes of this review.

UPDATE: They bought 4 new umbrellas, weeds and trash surrounding the pool from last year still there. Tacky buildings, run down pool and equipment, cheap and broken furniture, ugly club house, lawn. Spend money anywhere else but here.

Beautiful building inside was decorated nicely for our family reunion. The only thing is that the bathroom where outdated period and the carpet was really dirty along with the tile.

After searching high and low for a reception venue in the area, we finally decided to check out the Country Club at the advisement of my mother. Though I had come across the venues website before, I dismissed them under the assumption that a membership was needed. Im so glad that I was wrong! We scheduled some time with Rhonda, the clubs manager, to come down and check them out.When we arrived to our meeting, we were impressed. From my experience, country clubs tend to be old with little upkeep, but this was not the case. They still maintained a regal feel with great upkeep and maintenance. After learning about the special that they were running with a price that was pions compared to other quotes, we were sold. We immediately asked Rhonda to hold the date, and after making sure that we got the date with the church, we booked.Over the course of the year, I contacted Rhonda very frequently. Each time, she responded promptly and with patience. Though we were bringing our own decor, the club provides linens, flatware, chiavari chairs, tables, cake cutting set, a built in dance floor, and just about everything else that youd have to rent or bring on your own somewhere else. The only stipulation is that you have to use their in house catering, which wasnt a problem for us. By the time March had arrived, we had already met several times and decided on the layout for the tables and decor. We were able to work with her team to set up days prior-- we had lots of decor-- and they helped tear down quickly after the reception. Both Rhonda and her team members were friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. I cant brag on their service enough! They were just wonderful.Prior to the wedding, we had a food tasting. We sent Rhonda a list of items that we were interested in and the chef, Lois, prepared them for use to eat. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was amazing. We could have chosen anything and not have gone wrong. Our guests raved about the food and we did too. Even the Caesar salad got compliments. The food was reasonably priced and, again, significantly less inexpensive than the other venues that we received quotes from.The venue was a beautiful backdrop to our simple, yet elegant wedding theme. There is ample natural lighting that Im sure our photographers appreciated. Our guests were even able to go out unto the patio during our pre-reception hour. From the pictures that I was able to snag from guests, the presentation of the hor doeuvres was also very elegant and (obviously) photo worthy. We were more than pleased with our experience with the club and the staff. Though Ill probably never have another event of this stature, if I were, I would definitely use their services again.
