Really great staff conducting the swim lessons. They do an excellent job of making sure kids are in the right group. The facilities are always quite clean as well.

Lane reservation system and good social distancing/cleaning between lane use measures. Would love longer than 25 minute lane reservation options for early weekday swim times, but there are some 55 minute blocks available on weekends.

Great pools, the slide is plus and the Tarzan swim. The baby pool is fenced but you will still fell part of the action . Snack bar and tons of space for hanging out. The bathrooms were clean and spacious.Lifeguards all around.

We love the Columbia Swim Center for their amazing staff, friendly community, and variety of activities offered. We generally take part in their earlier in the day pool sessions and swim lessons when its less busy. However, our 3.5 year old currently takes swim lessons and has an incredible instructor. Weve seen our son grow leap and bounds since switching swim lessons to this location.

The kids had fun, but I took away a star cause its too dag on hot in there.

Its very nice, comfortable with two slides, dividing board and rop swing. It also has a baby pool area that is sectioned off.

Its good place, easy accessible. Neat & Tidy.

I wish the locker room could have an adult only space. Screaming kids a no place dry to sit while changing is just unkind.

I would give the center a four star if it does not close the main pool whenever it rains outside. The main pool is NOT grounded, as a staff explained. In the rainy spring and summer time, going swimming in that pool regularly becomes impractical...It is absurd that the indoor pool was built without grounding, and still not grounded after several expensive renovations, if grounding is a so critical to the safe operation. On the other side, I googled and found no death has been caused by thunder storms/lightnings in any indoor pools, grounded or not. So, whoever set up this rule needs to check his/her knowledge and reasonings, and perhaps also review whether all the previous renovations were worthy or important .

Two 25 yard pools at two different temperatures. Great for swimming laps or attending aqua fitness classes during the day. Weekends are great for families and children to enjoy Splashdown and open swims.

Swim center is fantastic and great for classes. Instrustors are usually great but there are some that are not good at all. But I guess that is everywhere.

Two good sized pools and lots of scheduled activities. Conveniently located downtown. The older folks who do water aerobics in the main pool are super aggressive about their turf: DO NOT try to swim laps in their area.

Splash down lots of fun for the kids, and adults!

The coupon from certifykid stated it was an indoor water park splash down center. They had one slide that was super high so my 8 yr old wouldnt ride it. The free swim area was half a pool with cold water in it. And the family changing room had underwear left in the shower.

Clean facilities and perfect for little kids. They have a baby pool for kids 6 and under. I would suggest bringing some toys to play with when planning on coming to the baby pool.

Great facility but just awful hours.

Great staff. Life guards were very nice to my daughter, helping encourage her to jump off the diving board.

Masters swim Group -- back from trip. Coach Sue as helpful as usual. She worked on stroke length and kicking for me. Felt great to be back in the water again.

Slide is fun but only error is a month ago I saw they were being racist cuz black kids won’t get boards or flippers but the white child’s get them

Fabulous place. Very kid friendly. Birthday party there was a super awesome idea.

Busy place with lots of birthday parties on the weekend. The baby pool area was packed throughout the day. They have a huge slide and diving board.Would have given it 4 stars but the place smelled like pure chlorine and my husband spotted a number of large roaches.

The facility is nice and has been upgraded quite a bit over the past few years. The refabbed water slides with no inner tubes needed are great. But the staff.... is not always so great. Ive just had too many occasions with bad info given over the phone, difficulty getting help, incorrect or contradictory information, etc. Very frustrating.

Its older, but is undergoing significant renovations, so Im hopeful that it will be much better soon. Nice place to go with little kids in the winter.

Columbia Swim center is warm and inviting. Its very refreshing to see young viberant teens working and being professional. I must give accolades to Ben. I came to columbia swim center for the first time, he saw me looking at a poster for an advertise class. He told me about his experience with the class and briefed me on the awesome membership packages. He was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Thanks Ben! Im now a member of CA.Now about the pool! Its a small indoor pool but just big enough to keep the kids entertained. They have two huge water slides. A swinging rope and a cool snack bar. They also have a baby pool for kids. If you want to swim laps there is a seperate pool area for that. For seating they have approximately 4 individual benches, and about 8 red picnic benches that can seat about 10-12 ppl. Very accommodating if u have a party. They also have long steps that can serve as seats. Over all a great place. No complaints at all.

The website did not make it clear enough, that splashdown was closed up until OCTOBER. My family and I drove all the way from Pennsylvania just to see that it was closed! :(
