This is it! A lot of people don’t have a clue to where the real place was where Robert and Ike played guitar. The cemetery right up the road is very likely the place where they sat, where Ike Zimmerman taught Robert how to really play.

This location is only about a mile south of Dockery plantation. You will be the only one there as the bridge on Lusk road is closed. There is nothing at the bridge but trash, and evidence that the devil still frequents the local area. As said in the Liberty Valance movie, “When the legend becomes fact, print the legend”

This is where Robert Johnsons blues really took form. Listen to Crossroads blues and all his other greats before diving in a little more
