We stopped at Deer park for a picnic lunch while traveling through the area. This was a nice, clean park. There was plenty of shade so both kids and parents could cool off and rest on a hot day. The park is split into several partitions so kids can be playing in different areas, ex: a sand pit, a glider swing, a climbing play ground, and more. There is a central shelter with restrooms, a pop machine, and at least 12 picnic tables. There are also single picnic tables placed around the perimeter of the park so families can gather near where children are playing.

The transformation is beautiful. The park I grew up playing on my daughter also got to spend her first three years playing on needed this new upgrade. Its nice. One area of concern is a group of bigger kids climbing on the playground they shouldnt be climbing like the top of the webbed bridge. . I hope this park can make it many many years without late night looting (little extreme), I justDont want to see the hard work the city and community building this, get torn apart and no longer bring a community downtown together the way it had already

Seriously the best park Ive ever been! Its busy but for good reason. Well maintained, So many things to do, fun for all ages brand new equipment!!!

Kids love this park!!!! Theres a zip line thats just awesome. And lots of stuff for the kids to do. Picnic areas and walking area too. And if you play pokemon with the kiddos then theres a gym and a stop here.

It is a very nice place to go in a very fun place that you can take your children and actually enjoy yourself theres a lot of stuff to do on the greenway if youre ever in the neighborhood please go to the greenway and youll see all the fun things there are to do on the greenway

Beautiful spacious park! So very well done and lots of things to choose from. My boys loved it.

Great place for its size and location although a venue and night lights would make it better, and the fact it is not 24/7 makes it a 4

The new updates are fantastic. My family misses some of the old things, but we welcome all of the new equipment.

Love the new playground!! My kids especially love the little zip line they have now!! They also enjoy the larger sand play area they put in. Im just thankful that I dont have to worry about the old rotted wood planks giving way on the old set! The new one is pretty impressive

Great playground! Ive always loved Deer Park but since theyve rebuilt it its even better!

The newly-renovated park is fabulous. There are two playing areas, one geared for younger children and another for older children. The larger climbing structure, although very tall, still feels very safe and manageable for younger children. The sand playing area was very popular with my kids, and the mommy-and-me swings are a great addition. Definitely my favorite park in town.

Since the update its so much better, I use to play on it as a child and I now have children so pulling up today I was shocked to see how amazing it looked, our daughters loved it and we cant wait to take them back!

Didnt see any deer, and all the kids were kinda scared of me because of my hunting rifle.

The upgrade was a great idea. Its much better than before. Definitely a fun place to play now.

Bathrooms are to dark. Toilets were dirty, yes I know this is a public park but I Dont mean one day of public use type filth and no hand soap at all in both bathrooms. Other then that the remodel of Deer Park is definitely a nice upgrade.

Took 3 nieces and their kids there the day after Thanksgiving. Spent about 3 play-packed hours there and the kids loved it! They all slept well that night.

Such a great park! New playground is awesome. Theyre still finishing it so I echo what another reviewer said about sitting areas-theres very few. So glad I dont have to drive to Imagination Station in Ooltewah anymore for a nice, big playground.

Deer Park has recently been renovated and while it lost some of its nostalgic charm for long time residents, it is a very nice park. It has several slides, swings, a sand pit, and a child safe zipline.

The park was recently renovated and the difference is incredible. All new structures and equipment make this a great place to take your children for some fun.

The best park for children in Cleveland. It has separate sections for big kids and small children. They also have plenty of seating for parents and restrooms. We love it!

Very nice....Our 6yr old grand loved it, especially the zip line. Only draw back....there needs to be benches thru out the park for adults to sit closer to the slides/swings, etc. Got to stay close to the kids with all the badness in the world.

It is nice but not finished yet. There was no where to sit as far as the Pavillion, you can however throw a blanket down and bring a picnic just relax and enjoy yourself.

My daughter loves this place needs more parking and is close to roads wish they had cain link fences around it

They changed it so much from the last one but its perfect for all kids with two different size areas. My daughter was brave enough to go across the rope without help and go on the bigger kids slides

Love the improvements but if you have young kids that cant take care of themselves keep an eye on them there are a lot of kids that dont care what they do to yours.

October 2019 Update: new park is now up & running. Lots of fun equipment! Great use of spaces and updated facilities. They preserved the old beautiful trees, planted some new ones and the updated equipment is awesome. Kids love the zipline. Plenty of seating in pavilion and other covered picnic table areas around park. Restrooms available as well.——-July 2019 Park is currently closed for renovations. Looks to be close to completion and should be really nice when done.
