Been here 2x and its just a lovely place to go! Good times,food,drinks for everyone in your family The property is well kept as well as the different buildings.

Its very well maintain, the rooms are nice and resort pools are great for adults and childrens. My kids love the splash park and the playground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its located a little bit far from the parks but the trip is worth it.

It was nice. Only downfall was the lack of enforcement on rules when it came to children. As a group of all adults the abundance of children running and screaming and throwing stuff w/ no staff intervention was crazy. Also, the karaoke night DJ seemed more into giving himself the spotlight then letting others. There were only a few spots left in the night, he announced, and apparently 2 were for him . Other than that the stay, the views, pools, and fitness area was enjoyable.

Weve bin to the Summer Bay Orlando and Grand Seas. For an oceanfront resort the Grand Seas in Daytona is good for that. If you want more amenities, with kid friendly amenities and games and bigger rooms is Summer Bay Orlando. Summer Bay Orlando is more of a Resort. Grand sea is more of a Hotel set up. We look forward to see alot more properties from Exploria.

This place has a lot of amenities for entertainment. As much for kids as adults. Beware of third party booking agencies not booking you appropriately ie. BOOKHOTELSTAY

Customer service is amazing but houses are outdated and too expensive

Love this place. The rooms and townhomes are very nice, there are many fun things to do at the resort, pools, minigolf, park, restaurants, live music, coffee shop, theater, fitness center among other things at a very good location close to the parks and many restaurants, stores, urgent care clinics, supermarkets and more. Great place to stay. Great and friendly service.

This was our first time staying at this resort. We rented a one bedroom apartment that was very spacious with lots of closet space. We got surprised to see a washer and dryer, and a spa tub. The resort has lot of things go ing on to keep you busy. There are two restaurants and a Starbucks on site. The tiki bar at the pool had great bartenders they made great drinks not weak . My only surprise was at checking in didnt know they offered time sharing they said we were not obligated to attend the presentation but we did . We want to return here with the kids but will skip the presentation next time.

This is a great hotel, but they really want you to buy a timeshare and sometimes get aggressive if you dont.. but in all its a great hotel..

I really enjoyed our stay. it was very close to international drive within 10 minutes driving distance.Local attractions besides the main theme parks of Orlando such as Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.We enjoyed the local carnivals and amusement rides as our stay was rather short. Continental breakfast included with your stay very hospitable staff at the front desk as we stayed at the Exploria Express. Exploria had also condos available if a hotel is not to your liking.I loved the Disney themed atmosphere everywhere you looked.Fun for the whole family.

If they truly want to sell their resort, they wouldnt put you up in a cramped room with poor build where you can hear your upstairs neighbors moving around. No response from Front Desk when there are cockroaches in the room. This place is not worth the hassle even at discounted rates.

Luved it! The perfect place to relax for all ages. The amenities are superb especially the outdoor heated swimming pools. Needless to say, I was impressed...

Not a great experience on arrival. We gevin a handicap room which wasnt requested.however management solved the issue and the rest of the stay was great

Our timeshare there is always perfect! Not many people there during this pandemic, but they offered lots to keep us busy.

Nice resort, very nice room and great service

The place is cute but has a few things I would definitely tweak. Starting with what I did like, they have lots of pool areas and amenities (which I couldnt use because of weather) movie theater (didnt get a chance to use) bars, and much more. The rooms are okay size, we were in a one bedroom, the TVs were cool in living room and bedroom, kitchen great size and has all appliances, balcony was nice overlooking lake and partial pool area. To get in and out of shower/jacuzzi tub is a lil hard because if the high side, but once in is very relaxing. What I do NOT like is the steps and 2ns story platform, it reminded me of the projects, and you do not want that feeling when on vacation (not against projects) if they can update that and make it more welcoming with different flooring and steps, some plants, etc. Would be awesome

HAD STAYED HER BEFORE. LAST TIME IN 500 series units. This time we lucked out and had a two bedroom in the 601 Reserve Bldg. Private Pool an two whirlpools. Bar on roof top had fair view of Disney fireworks. Good location just about middle of the state.Staff was great

Big affiliation with surrounding amusement parks. The rooms were clean. Had saunas first day stopped working thereafter never repaired before we left.

We came here on a time share special. THE BOOKING was a nightmare and there were some fees that were not mentioned. So bring extra couple hundred just in case. However once we got there the condo they put us in was beautiful. We got a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with a week rental car. The presentation of the time share was interesting actually. We were thinking about entering one, just wasnt a good time for us as of right now. The resort itself was nice as well. Lots of things to do for the guests, specially if you have young once. It was pretty bug with a couple 24hr pools. So over all spending $300 on 5 nights with week car rental.....yes it was good! Just plan and book ahead.

Terrible, not going to a lot of details but, the very first day the tragic started where they closed early, had to pay another hotel, next day went back they gave me wrong place, last thing my check out at 10am, went out to get breakfast, can back at 9am and already lock us out... two stars.. nice place and fun.

Beautiful resort we loved staying here. Everything was great and we had lots of fun. I Did NOT enjoy the pressure sales pitch only 1 day after being at the resort AND not being allowed to think about their no preassure offer and get back to them in a day or so.

Nice place. Lots of activities for the kids. Although the welcome desk near Denny’s has poor customer service skills, Would not smile or acknowledge customers. Hesitate to answer questions.

We enjoyed the hotel but the resort is Awesome. Their vacation resort package is unlike any other and is less expensive than any other plan Ive seen! And the personnel are friendlier and far less pushy. They truly seem to care about your entire circumstances and your experience.

Room I stayed in was a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen. Beds were comfortable. This resort has the water higher then 103 degrees. Felt wonderful. Coming in and going was a breeze with the wrist bands as your card. Used the conference room several times to print things for work purposes while here. Staff was very friendly.

WIFEY, KIDS and I stayed here while on CHRISTMAS break and for NEW YEARS!! BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN and PLENTY to do on the RESORT!!!

Thank you so much Exploria Summer Bay for a great 2 weeks. Such a great staff. Shawn, Jules and Tins were great in the recreation department. Jorge makes a great pizza with a smile. Cesar pours good drinks at Kokomos. Jason and Angel brought us a great sofa which saved our backs. Definitely be back.

This has been one of the nicest places I have stayed. Very clean resort. Love having a washer and dryer in our own place. Well stocked kitchen. So many things to do that we didnt even need to leave the resort if we did not want to. Very kid friendly with many of the activities aimed at keeping the kids entertained.

Real nice place had a relaxing time, the only complaint I have was the main tv was new but the remote was a generic universal model half of the channels did not work heard the same from a few other guest.

Nice vacation rental. Lots to do on the property. Close to all the major theme parks. Fixtures and decor are a little dated, but nothing terrible. Dont go to the 45 minute preview. Its really 4 hours of high pressure sales and not worth the $100 gift card in my opinion.

I was issued a card as a courtesy of my visit to EXPLORIA presentation in POCONOS unfortunately that card only had 6 months of validity and i somehow missed that piece, now when i reached out to EXPLORIA team, they denied to help me asking me to go to card holder services, reached to card holder services and they sent me back to EXPLORIA...spoke with Jonathan, Ashley and 1 more support rep from EXPLORIA they gave me same answer displaying their inability to helpwhen the card was issued by EXPLORIA i am surprised how they are unable to help....when it was the time to sell me that package, i was given utmost importance and soon after (because i did not buy the time share) they willingness to help completely dis-appeared...i am glad now that i did not by their timeshare because this might be the same level of after-service i might have got...i have been to several timeshare presentation but (mostly reputed ones) and none have ever denied their help unlike EXPLORIA....truly disappointed with them and their services!!

It was a good experience, the kids and whole family had a great time. They have a lot of pools all around the resort. It is also close to the major attractions in Orlando. The appartment we stayed in was very clean and had a fully equiped kitchen and even a washer and dryer. I just wish we had booked more days.

Has everything I like to do here a fun place also just to relax

Summer Bay is amazing! Its a beautiful property, that is very well maintained. All of the employees are polite and willing to help. The coffee shop is good, the lake side equipment is a blast for the kids. The Buccaneer is a blast, zip lines rock wall!!! The food at the pool is good. We really enjoyed the night time DJ at the back pool! But the best part about the resort for me was that they allow fishing!!!!!!! Not only do they have 3 piers you can fish from, but you can rent 10ft Jon boats with trolling motors and fish the lake. I will definitely recommend Summer Bay. Its about 25-35 minutes to universal/ Islands of adventure depending on traffic. This place is family friendly and I would recommend it weather your looking for a beautiful 2 bed 2 bath apt. Or looking to rent one of their homes(each with a pool) then this is the place for you.

Horrible resort, took us on a boat ride trying to sell us a timeshare and got me soaked from head to toe

My sister booked this with her time share, I was not satisfied at all . outside areas were nice and inviting, the condo had nice updated bathrooms and kitchen, bed rooms had new carpet, nice paint job but the furniture was dated, the mattresses were horrible horrible horrible, flat uneven and hard my 14 year old granddaughter and I both had a sore back. The dining table was dated it had a glass top which almost fell over on my grand daughter, the couch was old dark brown and depressing, it had two big oil stains on it, drab brown carpet, drab dated wall unit, old stools or end table I dont know which nothing cheery about the interior, the banister on the balcony was loose on one side with three children we could not utilize the dining table or the balcony because they didnt come and fix it until the next day even though when I called they said someone would be up, the pools are nice but no life guards ever, kids jumping in the water splashing your baby and anyone else in the way, no supervision from some parents and the resort does nothing, was left an hour at the grocery store in the blazing sun because their transportation did not get us we had to call 3 times, mold was around the tub in the main bathroom and the tile, its more like an apartment complex in the inner city with pools and palm trees

The timeshare meeting I had was for Exploria Resorts. In the end we didnt go with the timeshare, but I would say, their Orlando establishments are amazing. The house timeshare and apartments are beautiful. It did make me think twice.

This place is great,kids love it here,everyone is friendly, and so many activities, this is my first time here and it wont be the last

Nice resort. Had a good gym. Im not a big fan of cashless resorts. Denney restaurant in front. Shuttle will take you to Publix

The resort was nice and clean. There are plenty of activities for families and children to do while there. Theres a supermarket on site and a wide choice of restaurants near by. Disney is approximately 30 minutes away from the resort and easy to get to.

Nice facilities but the air-conditioning and fridge are very loud.I dont know who to blame (Im not the organiser) for my group being assigned a room that did not suit. It should have been clear that room was for five people. We got a bedroom and a fold out couch, leaving one person with nowhere to sleep. They fixed it with a room with two bedrooms and a fold out couch.. Perfect.The buses from the Disney ticketing and transportation center dont run late enough with the last one at 10:35pm causes schedule problems with some parks closing at 9pm or Magic Kingdom closing at midnight.

Peace. Who stayed for 4 days and 3 nights at the Exploria Resorts Express Hotel. I did not get what I was promised which was a king size bed and a pull-out couch. Also the amenities were not up to par. I could not get the driver to pick me up. The pool was nice. Having a shopping center next to the resort was nice. But the nice compliments stop there.

Exploria is a lovely resort but they try to ding you for everything and there are large bugs everywhere. Also, don’t get roped into their time share deal for cheap Disney tickets. They’ll waste an entire day of your vacation.

Beautiful grounds, lots to do for the entire family and 7 miles to Disneyworld. It doesnt get any better than that. Ask for Keith.

This place is hands-down the best resort I ever been to not that Ive been to many of them but friendly staff food, water park swimming pools Beach zip lining paddle boat everything was on Point clean and functional just an over the top experience.

Exceptional resort. Customer service is top notch. Accommodations are immaculate, up to date, and comfortable. Grounds are well kept. Lots of activities for families.

The resort is amazing but the person that try to sell it to us at the beginning was very nice, when she feels like she was enabled to convened my husband send another person, and this person got very angry because my husband says not and even tread in a very rude way at the end. It was frustrating and we are very dissapointed.

The resort had to relocate us because of a flood that went unoticed. When we got to the other room the key didnt work. But when we actually got in the new room was great and the employees are friendly. It is very expensive but nice at the same time.

I would like escorts from theorl. airport, for owners.

Always try to help us as much as they can. Our 3rd visit and never disappointed. If just my wife and myself or a family of 8 everything was great.Its not cheap and they definitely try to sell you but still a great and convenient place to stay .Theme parks close and Sarasota not far away.

Great resorts, they will ask if you want to attend a sales presentation and offer a $100 gift card. They do try to sell you timeshares, and a vacation membership. You will have to earn your $100 gift card. No High Pressure, but they will keep hitting you with different enticing offers. Ground here at Summer Bay well kept and resort appears top notch. Will book here again.

Lovely surroundings, everything available at the resort including supermarket, restaurants and bars.

Long drawn out timeshare presentation. A good deal if you can afford it. Dianna gave a good presentation. Asma was pushy and extremely rude at close of presentation. I have been to tons of presentations and have brought several times before. Needless to say I have never interacted with a rude salesperson until Asma.

We love them!! We own 2 properties and travel all over whenever we want. So far this year Daytona, Marathon Key, and Daytona again. Next month Hilton Head island, New Smyrna in May and Panama City in Sept. Highly recommend going for tour of property and getting informed about their process.

I absolutely love this place!!! The rooms are so big and spacious and I love the fact that there are so many pools to choose from and there is an arcade! Definitely will be back soon.

Had to attend a supposedly hour long presentation for update on ownership. Turned into three hours. Not the highlight of our vacation. Told them up front only want d some questions answered but even had to take the tour. What a waste.

Nice place to stay and have fun. Clean and smoke free inside.

No refrigerator or microwave in hotel rooms. Everything echoes. I could hear a baby crying across the hall with both doirs closed. Decent breakfast.

Tonight my family and I booked into Exploria Resorts in Orlando. We had been anxiously anticipating our get away since we booked it. We got in off our flight in the evening hours, so after we booked in, we decided to utilize the Shuttle service provided there. We contacted the Shuttle, and when it arrived. I was disappointed because the Van was absolutely nasty and just tore up on the inside.The young lady that was the driver was very nice, so I figured we would just suck it up. I was offended that they sent that nasty van, when I saw a nice newer clean one sitting outside. We paid a lot for that trip, so I expected more. Now this is where everything went south. The Shuttle dropped us off at the Publix grocery store that is on their property. It was an absolutely horrible evening, it was thunder storming like crazy. My family and I ran inside the Grocery store, got what we needed, called the hotel for a pick up and was told that we were on our own, because the resorts van had broken down just that quick.That angered me because I know the resort has another van because I saw it. They were just gonna leave me and my family there to get back on our own. So as any responsible head of the house would do, I called to speak to someone. The first person I spoke with was a young lady named Vicky, after insisting that they get us transportation, Vicky told us that a tram would be there in a minute. I had no idea what a tram was, so we waited and waited, but nothing showed up. We kept calling back. But nothing showed up. Now mind you, my family and I are standing outside of the Grocery store in a thunder and lightning storm. This is no exaggeration, just check the forecast for 6/9/19 in Orlando and you’ll see.Now it’s been an hour and now I am upset, so I ask for the Manager, I get Steven Mayhue, I guess that’s how you spell his name. The solution that I get from Mr. Steven is that I am gonna send a Golf cart for you, that’s the tram, it will only take two at a time of your family of five, and before he could pick us up, I need for you talk walk in the rain, across the parking lot and across the intersection because my golf cart can’t cross the road. I thought’ What the hell? After I gave him a piece of my mind, he told me to call an Uber.Now of course I am angry as all get out now, my intent is to call corporate office and deal with this, but when I call back for the corporate office phone number, I get the run around and they don’t want to give it too me. So, I know this is a long story, but this is what finally happened. The young lady named Vicky finally called the Publix Grocery store and asked that we call her. When we did, she had called a lyft to come and pick up my family and I. So my question is this, why did the Manager, who is supposed to be a higher thinking person and in charge, why did he not take it upon himself to do what his subordinate did? We stood outside that Grocery store foe over an hour and a half. Because of the sorry and unprofessional manner that Steven Mayhue, our trip has started off a ruin. My Wife and I, Reginald and Ashley Scott are calling for someone from the corporate level to contact us. Steven needs to be dealt with quickly on this one. After this experience, I would be hard pressed to recommend this resort to anyone with him at the helm.

This trip was so disappointing! Itll be a while before I come back again

Kathy mills was absolutely incredible. She is the manager here and went above and beyond to make our experience here one to remember for a life time. She is truly a priceless asset to the resort and is a lady that truly made our vacation a memorable one!!!! She was extremely accommodating to both our 2 year old girl and our autistic son. If more companies had employees like her the worldWould be a better place!!!!! Once again thank you Kathy Mills!!!!! From the wood family!!!!!

Only one complaint on the zip line they need to be more organized, other than that I will give them the 5 starts
