In-between errands always stop by to take a nice walk around or through. Restrooms were closed for longest time. Love the greens and trees. A bit confused about the leash rules. Signs say leashed but Memorial is classified as off leash dog park. Always aware! Stay safe!

This park is a Chula Vista Antique. Just missing a playground for kids. A basketball court and handball court would complete the park.

Very quiet and kid friendly. I just came back from a picnic with my family, and it was full of joy

Its a great place to relax. But you should be aware there some irresponsible parents who bring bikes to a park that has prohibited to ride on.They almost overthrow my child.

Love this park.... It is home for the homeless population in Chula vista, but a beautiful park.I enjoy sitting and talking with the less fortunate to find out about their needs and how the community can pool its resources to pay it forward️

This park is a nice place to walk around. There is a lot of homeless in this park all the time and is patrolled by police often. Its not that big of a deal cuz they stay to themselves.

There are homeless people everywhere. Instead of a homeless park make affordable housing for them. This park is beautiful but whats the purpose if people are to afraid to go there.

We enjoy music and then dance events. Late night became quite cold being outside.

The park is in downtown Chula Vista and has an amphitheatre. There are several events throughout the year including Beer Festivals, Cultural and Environmental fairs and Chula Vista Community Collaborative Day of the Child. Great for families, central location and also had a community center with a pool adjacent to the park.

Used to be a nice park you could take youre family to. Not so much now because of the homeless it smells like urine in certain areas. Theres too many trouble makers that hang around the area making you feel unsafe.

Very scenic. Went thwre with my 2 young kids.I wish there was more police or security around. The entire time I was there I was getting dirty looks from 2 young transient men that were trying to smoke/ vape weed or meth without being caught or seen.

My kids grew up here and I loved watching over my kids and all there friends its been nice seeing my children grow around this park weve shared fun and precious moments at this place, some great times some not so great but I have all boys but I love my kids and I love anywhere my kids are ...

Easy parking and well kept park. Went for a day fair regarding water and electrical usage.

All part of a 3 mile walk, dogs and all. Even water dishes along the way. Someday they might finish all that work on the west end of the walk. Milked that job how many years now?....

Security from Chula vista rec lied and said it was an off leash dog park. Definitely not.

Its okay. A lot of potheads here including myself. In the more green area however there is a bunch of homeless. Nobody will bother you except the homeless asking for money for their drugs. There is a tiny playground next to the rec center but really isnt much

Do not go unless there is an event because there is a bunch of homeless and like gangs there, people randomly talk to you about what ever, its scary walking by there at night or at any time of the day. But if there is an event they do a good job clearing them out. Police has come to the park and tried getting them to leave but theyre still there

This is a nice park but is unfortunate that it has been invaded by drug using homeless people. My mom not so long ago was walking by and wanted to use the parks restroom but couldnt do it because there were homeless inside using drugs. Dont understand why the City of Chula Vista doesnt do anything about it specifically because it is in a business area.

Homeless using drugs in this area. Its not safe. Dont come here unless there is an event then the police clean out the homeless. Its very sad but something needs to be done.
