(Nov 2020) Love the serenity feel of the park!! Been here frequently to get some R&R in our RV. Tucked away from main streets yet easy to get to, near H street and the YMCA. Its a dog walkers perfect place to go. Family friendly.Its a safe park but with frequent park patrol that makes me feel even more safe.Youll see cyclists or running groups that meet there and use the park as their staring point. Even during the covid-19 pandemic people are still gathering and trying to stay fit...they seem to be careful about social distancing and staying with the group of people they drove in with.

This place is great! Nice small playground with a few ball parks and a wide field for picnics. There are restrooms here but the stalls have no doors.

Great park with room to run and play. Maybe a little run down (?) but its covid; what can you do? And they had to hide the statue. Poor Chris... we hardly knew you!

Great ball fields in a great location. Theres plenty of shade for anytime of day. I wish this was our home fields. The kids here dont know how good they have it. You can follow a trail to the top of any side to get a birds eye view. Great for taking pics of the whole field at once. You can set a video and not miss a play without moving. We played tournament and it was purely amazing. I was able to fly my drone around the perimeter to get even better pics. Best location ever in my book.

A beautiful park, great for children and families. There were not doors on the bathroom stalls though.

Went there for a state championship softball tournament. Hundred or more people in the park. Lovely park. Restrooms decent but under-supplied.

Plenty of parking when there are no softball games

There are four softball fields including a T ball field. Big open spaces in a valley and temperatures can be downright cold in the early spring evenings. The amount of litter that is usually everywhere and the condition of the restrooms are things that kept the rating at a 3 . The park is nice but people should take more pride in their communities and teach their children to clean up after themselves.

Great place for families and sports

Its actually a nice park just lose a couple stars for no doors on the bathroom stalls on the mens or ladies!!! Come on how about doing a fundraiser for some doors lol.

Nice place to picnicking

The park was pretty expensive to get in, but there were a lot of large realistic dinosaurs on offer which my son loved! The animals are not in good health at all which is a shame. Ostriches had most of their feathers missing, goats had green snotty noses and lions looked disheveled. This would be a 5 star if the animals were looked after and the price a little cheaper. Tours are also not available in English despite us booking for a tour and clearly ate English!

Took our 2 dogs early afternoon on a weekday & it was almost empty. Great park! Very clean, lots of space to walk around, playgrounds & restrooms. I want to go back when the fields are in use!

Nice & relaxing 15-20 minutes breaks

We were only there one day, for a Select tournament, but there was not a lot of parking in the lots, so you end up on the street. Foul balls on Field 1 landed in the street adjacent to the field and there were a lot of them, as the fences are not very high. The bathrooms have no doors (they eventually put up shower curtains, which was nice). Field 1 had some nice shade from the trees and the field itself was pretty well kept.

Its a great park. Room for several large games and still leaves plenty of room for walks and kids to play.

Where memories are made! We spend alot of time here with our girls in the Bonita Valley Softball League. Its family fun with a nice picnic area, playground for the kids, 5 softball fields and ample parking. Come visit anytime!

I enjoy this park. Ive taken my 7 year old here a few times. Its a clean park and a lot of space. No complaints

Nice park, plenty parking if theres no other event..clean. Bathrooms are not real close, I wouldnt let my children go alone since its not in my earshot and wntrance is not within my eyesite.

Its a very nice Park, Im always looking for parks with trees....so we can be in the shade, the trash cans were full....and there was trash in the play area.

Discovery Park is relatively nearby, which makes it easy to walk to. Generally, the park is clean of trash and hosts a statue harboring benches you can sit on. There are also softball fields towards the second half of the park which warrants plenty of attention, especially in the night. However, while the grass is green, the sanitation could use some work. The bathrooms are riddled with grime and countless used tissues on the floor, which made it obvious that no one was maintaining this part of the park at all. The statue while well crafted hasnt been rid of bird feces in years, and it definitely shows. Overall, I recommend this park, just so long as you go somewhere else for bathroom time.
