This place is awesome! Make sure you lock your doors and roll your windows up all the way. If you have a steering wheel lock, I would encourage you to use it while parked here. The first time I visited this park I was greeted by a police officer. He asked me what I was doing, I replied “I just got here I haven’t thought about it, yet”. We looked into each others eyes for 10-15 seconds and then he sped off. I’ll be back often!

Great place to even come here to eat your dinner cause it has benches to sit and a table .. lol

This is a pleasant bay front park. San Diego has done it again, providing a multi use recreational public park.The park is well known by the local residents for providing, Estuary viewing, Bay front viewing and Picnic Tables with well maintained lawns, a Grove of mature trees, a small boat launch ramp and trailer parking and restroom facilities.Keep in mind, this is a windy area and can be cold. What is popular here, walking the well maintained sidewalk, and Car Clubs.

Love the bay in Chula Vista. Always loved to sail and would rent one from time to time years ago before my work injury. The park has a childrens area, restrooms and a place to launch your water worthy craft.A few groups meet there after work to show off their tricked out rides from the past. A great place for those one of a kind sunsets as old sol dips below the horizon.

Awesome place for a walk, to bring your kids or just enjoy the breeze and views of the marina and the coronado bridge. Bring your boat or eat at the seafood restaurant, this place have it all!! Just avoid restrooms in the park

There wasnt hardly anybody here on a Tuesday. Docking boat super simple, super clean.

Cool spot. They finally opened the restrooms. You can chill and watch the ocean. There are places to have a picnic. It is one of the local spots for the lowrider scene . I would recommend it if you want to get out.

In a pinch J St marina can work, but you misses out on the complete sunset. The strand blocks the cute of watching the sun sink into the water.

Chula vista has great parks. Near the water and not. Some are better than others but they all have their own unique crowd.

Not bad, but way too much graffiti on trash cans and other surfaces.Also, way too much bird and dog poo on the sidewalks.

Lots of respectful people. Parking lot & grass area VERY Clean. Lots of parking.

A very nice place to come and relax. You can also ride your bike or just go for a nice walk. (Some homeless do hang around the public restrooms)

It was a very nice experience..we loved the bike riding...really clean rooms. Please keep the same hygiene. It would of been perfect if you provide a microwave due to the current situation with COVID-19 and social distancing. I couldnt warm up my coffee!!

This place is great for walks, bringing the family and pets. Relaxing, Ive been coming here for over 30 yrs.

This park will always give you the best view tho far but u will still able to see coronado bridge and downtown. We always spend memorial and 4th of july here since this spot is not very common yet to most people. I live how clean this place is too. Then have a spot where theres this golden tree with red flowers. Perfect for insta photos.

I adore this park. It is truly a place for anyone and everybody. No matter the weather, you can enjoy the beauty of the flora and fauna that inhabit the park. Furthermore, this is a great place to sit by the water, eat some lunch, or exercise. This park is pet friendly, but please keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your pet. The park provides dog waste bags and receptacles where you may dispose of your dogs waste.

Great place to take in the sea, the sun and the boats. There are playgrounds for kids and its also a good place to walk the dogs.

Daytime is amazing especially when the sunset is going down one of San Diego best spots .

Probably would have been a 5 star except for the trash left in the grassy areas and the parking lot. Maintenance was there for the bathrooms, but then left.

Alway fun to do some running with my daughter, watch out for people with aggresive dogs without a leash had to kick one for trying to bite my daughter, hate irresponsible people.

It was beautiful scenery, people were distancing, dogs being walked, skating, biking, etc. Sunset was the bomb!

10 minutes away from home big nice ramp to launch your boat

This park is well maintained and a great place to walk your dog(s) or relax at any time. Baggies to scoop up your dogs droppings are provided in several locations and there are multiple trash cans. Several species of birds and squirrels, a few feral cats and even skunks, (though they prefer to come out at night and will run away as you approach) can be seen at various times during the year. The park requires dogs to be on a leash, which protects both the natural wildlife and your pet. Signs are posted to not feed the wildlife and please respect that. The birds can die from the birdseed or bread some people put out everyday. There is ample parking and please do not use the spaces for the vehicle/boat trailer combos at the boat ramp.

I have been comming here since I was 5 years old. I decided to bring my kids like my father would bring me. The power plants are gone, its clean, theres a beautiful view and a playground for the kids to play at. This area is going through redevelopment so stop by and enjoy it in its current state before its gone.

This was a very nice find for us. Quiet park with plenty of parking for a Wednesday morning stroll. Not sure what parking would be on the weekends. This was definitely a park geared towards locals and not tourists, so it was nice and quiet and not over wall to wall people.There are a few picnic tables scattered throughout the area, most just feet from the shore line, a few with shade, most were in full sun to grab a nice leisurely seaside picnic with . The grounds were well kept. There is even RV parking available as well as access to the boat launch. Public restrooms are available, and there is a Harbor Police Station adjacent to the boat launch.

You can just chill. Walk, talk, relax. Its a great place to hangout with family or friends; maybe hold the hand of your significant other.

Best time to go is during low tide. Theres low of cool sea creatures its teaming with life fish, sting rays, crabs, star fish. Also the trees host pelicans & there families. Its spectacular to watch.

Best boat launch ramp. Never crowded and had plenty of dock room to tie to. Plenty of lighting. Very well maintained

Beautiful spot. Trash clean-up would help! I filled a bag. Lets all fill just one bag with trash and itll be completely clean before we know it! It was nice to see the wildlife on the water!

Visit very often. Lots of parking, people, dogs, kids, seagulls, squirrels and pigeons. Bring my pups for very entertaining and amusing walks. Fun stuff. Poop bag stations in certain areas if needed. Bathrooms available.

The weather, although cloudy was mild and comfortable. I was wearing pants and 3/4 sleeves and didnt feel the need for anything more.

Love this little spot. Lots of parking, play area for kids, pretty clean public bathrooms. Always breezy, clean picnic tables and hot boxes to sump coals if you bring a BBQ. Makes for a nice, peaceful afternoon.

I was a little disappointed by this park. I love the ocean, & I know its a man-made bay, but it has a very industrial feel. My friend & I took a long walk among a lot of the sidewalks & its not very clean. I think if they added a lot more plants & landscape design (xeriscape mixed in wouldnt be bad), it would look a lot better. A lot of mature trees added in would give it a totally different feel. That, together with keeping it clean, would make a big difference.
