Use to have a dragon memorial fountain in the middle. Something unique like that would bring the park and attached library together again. Needs a restroom station like the one at the city of Coronado park. A playground and gym section would go great in this park.

Quiet, well kept park, suitable for short walks and solitude.

This place is smack in the middle of Chula Vista. Which would be great if there wasnt a constant baragement of homeless people. Every time I walk past this park I wonder if Ill be mugged. Which is ironic since the police station is literally a block away. Its a pretty park...if youre driving by and have no intention of stopping here.

Its spacious, good walking area

Next to Civic Center and public library. Clean restrooms in the library. Two blocks from third ave. Nice quiet park. A plus for the landscape and cleanliness. As for the wrought iron benches these need painting and dividers to keep homeless people from spending the night on them.

Very beautiful, calm and peaceful, but still located in the heart of downtown Chula Vista and easily within walking distance to anything needed!

Typically quiet and very low traffic. Most prominent feature is the statue and structure arrangement near the center of the park.

Love this park, the community finally took back their park. Don’t see homeless lingering anymore. Great to read, relax and their is plenty of shade

A calm park. Ive seen people walk their dogs, play soccer, or stroll through the park. Beware, homeless people hang around here

Clean and very quiet!

Not so exciting. Not enough parking. Grass was very green and air was fresh. All they needed was a convenience store to top it off. Will go again as the flowers were nice and bright. How bright? That vibrant bright and white light like a glow of heaven and earth.

This used to be my favorite park to walk my dog. In recent years there has been more and more homeless congregating at this park and unfortunately bringing their problems. Often I see empty bottles and trash litter this once peaceful, quiet park...

This is such a nice and relaxing park. You can go check a book out of the library and find a good spot were to read otuside. So sad thay I have been seeing more and more homeless setting camps and leaving trash around there.

This is a very friendly atmosphere and inviting people that are very nice and friendly to all passing through the park or spending the day there.....

Very dirty and felt very unsafe. Lots of adults in the park who appeared to be selling and using drugs. No play equipment, no bathrooms and no area for dogs.

Not so family friendly. Yes a lot of open space with green grass but there is homeless everywhere here. No playground no nothing.

Safe nice near shops

This Summer 2017 Friendship parks grass is perfect, to either place a sheet or blanket and get into a meditative state easily promote by natute or you can simply laid down to enjoying the trees, the breeze, the shade, and or the sun. Although 0ne side of the park is close to a busy street, in my opinion doesnt disrupt the peacefulness I experience when I visit.
