First class park. The childrens jungle gym and playground is amazing and well spaced. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and pool. There are skyline sightlines and even free parking. Great place to throw/kick around the ball or picnic. The only downside is the size, but the park makes up for that in many other ways.

Pretty nice park wedged between two busy streets. More for sports than a quiet stroll. Has tennis and basketball courts, gym and pool, and baseball diamonds. Some garbage scattered about but not too bad. Has a great jungle gym for kids

My 3 sons grew up here and there is no other Park, Id rather my grand children to come and play but at the Union Park, I love this place! Its beautiful, it has a restroom and plenty of things to do and have fun! A big thanks to you, UNION PARK and GOD bless.

Very big park in a great location that is great for community gatherings. It can use some upgrades to the baseball fields, playgrounds, and swimming pool. It is easy to get to because its on a major street artery, and it is right under the Ashland stop for the Green/Pink Line. It could use one more basketball court, and some more upkeep when it comes to concerts and festivals. Parking is very scarce over here so please be patient or take public transportation.

Played tennis at the courts here recently. Not the best surface, especially for late July by which time these public courts shouldve been renewed. No gaping holes on the surface but the nets were sagging and the surface was pockmarked enough to make the ball bounce a tad unpredictably.

Great park where they hold lots of venues. Its a really nice sized park where there could be a festival or concert going on on one side and people could be picnicking on the other. I havent been inside the field house so I dont know much about it as I have spent all of my time outside on the grounds here which are beautiful and spacious.

It is a pretty great neighborhood park. It has two softball fields, a community pool, two tennis courts, and two horseshoe pits. The park is kept clean and well maintained. There is something going on here every night in the summer. The softball fields have lighting for night games. There is a paved path around the perimeter of the park which is nice for walking/running.I wish this park had a dog park. The park is friendly to dogs.#park #chicago #nearwestside
