Super charming piano bar. The bartender, Megan is amazing and known to sing operatic solos from time to time. They play everything thing from Elton John to Billy Joel to Neil Diamond to show tunes. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a diamond in the rough. It’s just busy enough, not too busy.

Nitz and Howe are always great. Fun songs and even the waitstaff chimes in. A great place to take people who are celebrating a special occasion. You will end up with a feather boa around your neck and become part of the act.

For fans of the Great American Songbook, this place cannot be beat. On Monday nights, George Howe leads a stellar, high energy open mic with a specialty on classic Broadway. On Wednesdays, Beckie Menzie jazzes the place up with accompaniments that are always complex and beautiful. The wait staff is friendly, remembers your drink order from week to week, and are all stellar performers. Davenports also has excellent drink specials. The crowd is supportive and help make Davenports Chicagos premier piano bar.

Great little piano bar with karaoke on Friday nights. Prices are a bit high, but its to be expected in the neighborhood. The old fashioned and Manhattan cocktails are fantastic.

The quality of music is always very high, and audience participation is encouraged in the piano bar.

This place is amazing, we randomly went here last night, and had no idea what to expect. It one the most terrific time, beyond what we even could imagine.

We were in from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed the cabaret and musical ensembles of George and Darryl. The staff was engaging and very friendly, and their participation made it a more memorable experience. Thank you, Davenports!

Love Davenports! The Karaoke hosts on Fridays are the best! Always keep going back- I live an hour plus away. Wish they would stay open later. ;-) .

Came here for a friends cabaret and it was really great. Drinks are reasonable for the area, and the atmosphere is nice. Only downside is parking; its a nightmare around here on the weekends...

Just ducked in here on a whim with my girlfriend and I felt like I was in an episode of glee! This bar is like sitting in a choir room and getting drunk! Totally awesome time!

Great place to listen to live music, some performances have a two drink limit, they hit you up for those super fast.Music in both front and back rooms simultaneously.
