Very funny shows with up and coming comedians and Chicago legends. Plenty of variety. Cozy bar/lounge area with stand up comedy on certain nights. Very friendly staff and owners.

Visited this place on a whim after finding it recommended somewhere. First comedy show weve been too but it was a thrill. Seemed like most of the people in the audience were friends/performers themselves but it was so chill and fun. Bar there which they encouraged bringing drinks in. Skits were 5/10 min each and improv heavy. Some were better than others but a great vibe all around with an intimate setting

Super cool place I went on open mic night Tuesday the people were nice funny and supportive. The drinks were cheap enough. They had an improv show after witch was great. Id recommend going.

Saw Pimprov and it was side- splittingly hilarious!! Theatre is tiny and intimate and (yay!) no 2 drink minimum.

LOVE CIC! Great theater for improv, if you LIKE that... Or if you prefer good art. They have a Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic on Tuesdays that.. no no i know... but THIS one has ONLY the BEST comedians, and a bunch who are not. Sometimes Chicago-based comedian/auteur/all around renaissance man Tucker Millett will host the show; he’s very funny and handsome and it’s such a special treat to see him.

Pimpimprov is the best hilarious show you can see. To just do a show from Improv shows the talent these Gentlemen have. I will be going back

Be warned that its a dive bar. The venue was a little smelly. The show that I went to see was okay.

A local venue for various comedy shows. Its a small venue, so its a pretty intimate setting, but some people enjoy it better that way. Theres a bar with the basics and the tickets are pretty affordable compared to some shows in the area. Stop in to check it out!

Great shows with an intimate setting. The lobby bar allows you to enjoy your cocktail there in the lobby or in the theater space during shows. Long-running Improv group, Pimprov, is an anchor performance that appears there weekly on Fridays. Other independent shows have done well there also. A great night out!

Great, intimate theater space that has some of the best Improv Comedy in the city. Saturday nights at 10:30 offers the best show you can see bar none. There is a full bar as well.

The Saturday Night CiC Showcase was one of the first shows I saw when I moved to Chicago and 4 years later, I still go back a couple of times a month.

To the unfamiliar, CIC is powerhouse improv theater just a short walk off the Irving Park Brown line. The talent is on par with any of the other big name theaters tourists flock to, but maintain the originality and edge of a smaller independent theater.

Went here to see Pimprov and this Improv show is so underrated, it was one of the funniest shows that I have seen and although the space was very small it was still nice, I also liked how they interacted with the audience. This is a must see show.

Eh, I dont get it. Maybe improv is not my cup of tea. Went to the Pimprov show and I admire and appreciate the actors and their art! But, its just not funny. My boyfriend still recalls that as the bad show Yanja picked out (Mind you it was 2 years ago, 2012).The theatre is a really intimate place you could jump out on the stage yourself and join in on the action if you dared! They had drinks for sale in the foyer prior to the show- maybe I shouldve drank more before the show. I liked the decor- it was a great experience overall, just not a show I would not revisit
