Great market to find antique jewelry and clothing. Also tons of booths offering hand made items. The entrance fee is well worth the time you will spend there and all the awesome finds!
The earlier you arrive, the more you can enjoy. I came here at 3pm. There is so much to see that time passed fast.I stopped at Brazuca Bites for a bite and purchased cheese and also a beef pastel (it is like empanada but the dough is fried and flaky), Nutella bite churros an bought some aloe Vera + strawberry drink that is sweet and refreshing.
If youre looking for antiques or vintage items, this market is a must. There are sellers that have encyclopedic knowledge of specific collectibles and close to museum quality items, and others have artesanal items you wont find elsewhere. Its also a lot of fun just wondering around.
Love this market. Very chill vibes with lots of beautiful things to find. This is definitely the place to find art, clothes, accessories, and home decor. I love that they allow dogs and its the perfect place to be on a beautiful day in Chicago. Great place to meet people too.
A great in door collection of merchants with a wide selection of vintage items ranging from jewelry to old records, clothing along with some new craft items. $10 charge to get in on the day I visited.
Very laid back market - not too big or too clustered like others Ive been to. The live band set a good vibe. Its nice that there are shops set up both inside and outside - so youve got the option of taking a break from the heat.
Perfect in every way.
Worst lobster roll Ive ever had! The lobster was flavorless but it was smothered in hitter than room temperature mayo and doused in way too much like juice. The bread was very stale but the chef tried in vain to disguise this by over toasting it. The coslaw was also served hot and had no flavor other than bad mayo which separated from its time under a heat lamp. I took a bite of a cheese burger our table ordered and it was bad. Unflavored gritty meat cooked well done. The good. The wait staff is super nice and so were the hosts. The French fries are very good and well prepared.
My wife and I go there literally every month, and we always have a lot of fun
A little pricey and very snug inside, but some great antiques and jewelry to browse.
We came across this by accident. Amazing shopping. So much to see.
If vintage and/or flea market is your thing, this is your place. In the summer, tons of vendors with lots of old or old-looking wares, both indoor and outdoor, plus food and live music. In the winter its just inside but still a good number of options. One downside is the admission cost. Its a little steep and acts as a barrier for me just going and wandering around. If I dont have a specific mission I dont want to pay to just wander. It is even less worth it since it is just inside.
A magical place with magical finds. Great for whatever weather since there is a outdoor and indoor section. Bring cash
Neat atmosphere. Lots of antiques and craft jewelry.
Awesome to see a flea market in the city. Very well organized. Absolutely love that they serve beer. Live music. Also they have treasure hunt maps for the kids to help keep them occupied and then they can get a prize at the end. Outdoor and indoor vendors. Would like to see one or two more food vendors.
Lots of vintage finds and antiques. Plus some handmade vendors and furniture.
Amazing flea market with very high quality items and antiques from boutique vendors. Good food and booze as well.
Vendor Review,From a seller stand point this event is pretty nice if you have quality product to sell as a reseller, buyers come looking for specific home goods, and beautiful $900 vintage antique jewelry.I think they should advertise the type of customer that comes to these events. I don’t recommend for fashion clothing/accessory vendors. I was very excited to do the 2-day event; I’m use to cash flow business events for me personally.I was able to at least make what I paid for to attend, which was only $300 for a 2-day event, normally I make a generous amount when selling as a designer. However, the director for such a highly recognized event wasnt friendly at all, they warned outside vendors last minute about thunder storms so all the vendors who paid to stay till 5pm had to leave, it was absolutely no accommodations for those people.Vendors got drenched and I got told if your trying to leave earlier than 5pm, your on your own by the director, as In I had 3 tables that I had to take to my car, when that should’ve been provided.Amazing sellers but horrible customer service for vendors.
The BEST antique market in the USA.. Last weekend of every month with music, food and a huge assortment of great furniture, linens, paintings, and jewelry..
The mother of all flea markets. Its incredible.
Nice idea for a day of great weather. A little bit of everything.
This was a fun stop. I bet its even better in summer. There were lots of nice things to look at, my friends tried some samples of whiskey that offset the admission fee. Free parking is also a plus though there was a T-Mobile van taking up a few handicap spaces... Shame on the owners of the building for allowing it.
Lots of fun stuff to buy here! You do have to pay for entry but theres a Groupon that can get you in for the cheap. Most things here are quite pricey, definitely for more specialized interests. I also do wish that there were more food and drink options outside.
Wife bought all kinds of cool stuff... I got to carry the bags... Great Sunday!
Fun. Lots of varietyGood food, good music. Parking is tough.
Real fun place. You can find things here that you cant find anywhere else. Unique finds in a number of different categories. Really good food and beverage available too!
I love both selling and shopping here. Thees enough variety to please everyone and items at all price points! Best recurring vintage market in Chicago. :)
Had a lot of fun looking at the vendors. I went during November and it was inside. Not as many vendors as I thought there would be. However, found some great items.
This is a perfect place to shop while enjoying to live music. I always go here during weekends for some errands. It is a big place with lots of people.
Great place for shopping for vintage items. Make sure you walk around before buying because prices vary. Fun to visit in the summer with the outside market. Food, beverages and live music outside. But the inside also offers great finds.
Fun place to pick up unusual new and vintage items. My first time there. I would return. Free parking was a plus.
Great music and vendors.... New and vintage items
Great selection. Lots of not to great. Live band was the best thing there though.
Great time and lots of finds, though a bit heavy on womens clothing and mid range jewelry. $15 to park, $12 entry, so not cheap!
Going to this market costs $8 regularly, which is pretty high since most markets are free. I mainly saw lots of vintage clothes, bags, jewelry, and prints (most of which seemed to be pages out of old books). I didnt end up buying anything except some honey from the one honey vendor there, but if you are into a more traditional market that mainly focuses on vintage items then you should consider going.
Wasnt so much a street market as it was located in a building. Majority of the finds were vintage, old things, much like you would find in a garage sale, antique stores... etc.It was very quaint as we got to learn a bit history of Chicago through its old finds.Entrance fee was $10 each.
It felt like there were a bunch of people selling cheap stuff that they found at other thrift stores for a very high price. Doesnt worth it.
Nice quality goods: hand crafted, vintage, and eclectic. I bought a 1920s mah johng instruction book and a 1950s navy towel.
Good place to bring a friend and give it once over. You never know what kind of treasures youll find at this market. On a hot day get a big lemonade drink and refill with water from the water fountain.
Know what youre looking for ahead of time. Plumbers Hall gets stuffy in warm weather, so prepare for that
Good venders, a little small when its only inside. Will try again in the summer
A fun place to pick through, and we would go more often if it wasnt for the entrance fee. I understand they need to charge entrance to fund the operation, but Im not sure the price justifies the experience.
A great place to shop and drink. Cool and happy vendors with lots of goodies. The owner Sally has put together something great for Chicagoans and dealers.
Theres a wide range of things to buy from dozens of vendors. I didnt end up falling in love with anything, but it was nice to just wander and people-watch. Its sort of a flea market, but you have to pay upwards of $10 to get in (late 2017 price). I dont feel the need to go back.
Best for people who like vintage style
Omg, I never miss it. It is one of my favorite things to do in Chicago, in fact I plan my travels around it. Great furniture and midcentury modern barware. The jewelry and purses are amazing, really cool cufflinks too. I have never seen better prices.
Wonderful unique finds by various vendors. Only a few food vendors but they were good
This place has grown over the years. New, old, shiny, dull, great chances to sample adult beverages. Entertaining
Was not impressed at all. Things were way over priced. The fact that you have to pay $12 to enter the market should tell you enough. The highlight was the popcorn at Urban Kettle! It was some of the best popcorn Ive ever had.
This flea market has everything. It has vintage stuff, repurposed items and all kinds of everything. The prices range but it is a great place for one offs or original items. The price for entry is over $10 which is mandatory and not donate requested.
Really fun little holiday-type market with vintage and new/handmade goods. Great prices and wonderful shop owners. Best place for Xmas gift ideas!
Loved the variety and quality.
Way fun city event! Indoor/Outdoor. Live music, good food with umbrelled tables to enjoy.Flea market to Indy Designers! No tube socks!!!!
Its a lot of fun in the summer, the vendors are great, there is usually a band playing, but $12 for entry is a bit much!
Although Im not a huge fan of second hand goods, but the market has a lot of amazing vintage stuff that you can explore. The market has a wide range of collection such as accessories, clothing ( most of them are for women), jewry, art and craft, etc. One thing I love about this place is that the market festival claims there wont be any fake products, so we dont have to worry about the counterfeit issue. I would suggest people to come here on weekend; Its really a good place for you to explore things that you have never seen before.
Local crafts, good food and a convenient location make for an awesome experience. This outdoor market has tons to offer Chicagoans and tourists alike. Be sure to check out the Chicago Candle Factory whos always there!
Fun and funky. Cover is a little steep.
$14 Groupon to get in and we couldnt find anything we wanted to buy.
Eh, ok I guess, family didnt care for it, eat before coming and browsing everything can be done quick. Nothing caught out eyes and we were a group of 4 adults at a wide range of ages, the best part was the bloody Mary bar, that gives this place 3 stars.
Great event, love music, amazing deals and things to but, food trucks, and a petting zoo to top it all off!
Some great stuff, but pretty random. Prices are high.
I wanna know is it open everyday ?
I really do like this market. I am not big fan of buying old used stuff but they often have some interesting items from artists that are amazing. I also like that they always have a live band and some good food stands. A nice way to spend weekend morning.
Not what I was expecting, but liked what I saw. Lots of vintage items. Great place if youre looking for old jewelry.
This market is rather large it has something for everyone. While I am not a huge fan of antique Markets, I found myself fascinated by all the cool items people were selling. They almost have everything you can imagine.
Ok could have been better. To cold for outside vendors.
I would like it to be known that Im writing this review with a heavy heart today because I once loved this market so much and now it as come to this I have been attending this event for years now and have no issues in till a few months ago Im go to be very vague as I leave this review for the simple fact that I do not trust anyone that is working for this event anymore a few months back I had an issue with a vendor and I brought it up to one of the people in charge of the vendors she shell remin nameless for now and all she did was make matters worse she acts like she cares but she dose not the market calms to stand by the costmer but they do not I feel taken advantage of and I will never trust so easily again its there job to make sure they only let the best of the best be apart of there event but sadly that was not the case for me and as I did my research there or other people that have been through what Im going through and are now ready to speak up against this market and anything else that is going to make a mockery as this market did so by leaveing this review it is my last intemp before going to the media to get in touch with someone higher then I have been speaking with because so far its only been scam artist I highly advance you to stay away from this market nothing good will come from it
I didnt see anything of interest really. Vendors were great to talk to though!
Very unique selection of people were there and advertised their products (clothing, jewelry, food, etc.) A lot of reasonably priced jewelry options too for those interested.
Great
So many different items to choose from..food and drinks and great vintage furniture
Every few weekends, this building hosts an excellent vintage market with some modern crafts to round it out. And theres usually some awesome craft food selections! Sometimes you can buy a ticket to get inside on discount sites like TravelZoo.
Total Rip Off! $10 entrance fee. & for what!? All in all a pile of polished junk. Go to the salvation army thrift store. Youll find the same & youll pay a fraction of what theyll charge you here. As a matter of fact most of what they have here for exorbitant prices comes from the salvation army thrift store.
My boyfriend can sell there even though they are expensive
Great place
Love markets like that
The indoor winter market leaves something to be desired. Will visit again in the summer for the full market and hope it will be more fun with more variety.
There is nothing here that you could not purchase at your local thrift shop- for 1/5 the price. For me, there was nothing that I would drag home if I found it for free in a dumpster. If you are looking for antiques, there are none here. If you are looking for coasters made of recycled lint from someones dryer cycle, this could be your place!
Omg such a gem! You can find anything from dress jewelry for $10 a piece to paintings for hundreds of dollars. Lots of stuff, you need patience and a good eye for sure. Great Turkish food in the building, we ordered a borek and went back for second.
Overpriced entrance fee for a smaller market than expected.
Very disappointing. Description on line did not meet reality. Fewer vendors than expected and very few of any interest. Spent $26 just to go in.....ugh
So much to see and buy.
Not worth the price to get in. Youll see these same vendors at free or much cheaper markets and festivals.
Incredible experience, I would tell everyone to go once in the Summer. A lot of Hand Made Furniture and Jewelry. Some antiques, but not as many as I would have liked to see.
Randolph Street Market makes its appearance once a month. The market is a combination curiosities, tat and some cool furniture. Inside youll find jewelry, clothing and a broad array of bits and pieces.
