A little hidden and not much parking but worth the 5 minute walk to see the Monument.

Well very odd place. Has some amazing earth works. If you dont know, earth works are ditches and mounds built by soldiers in the Civil War for defense. This park has some great works in that they are tall and a battery where artillery used to be placed, but its super small. The trail is maybe a quarter of a mile long. There are only 4 spaces to park one of which is handicapped.

Id say this is a great place for a dog. Came here today, its just a loop around and then back to the parking lot. My dog ran around the tall grass.
