This is a real hidden gem. With views of the James river and a bench to boot. I also had beautiful hawks flying overhead.
Very quaint small park in the middle of no where that is a nice area to visit and learn about the war. Each marker is filled with detailed information.
Quite good please to think
Off the main path site of the last naval battle in the War, Trents Reach. Small county site with historical markers telling the story.
Interesting area to wander for a few minutes. Good signage about the history of the site as well as a view of the river.
Its a rather run down, little to see site that has little in the way of earth works, archeology, or views available of what the original site was like. apart from some information boards at the entrance and praising the community for sponsoring the site it it quite a let down for a historical site
Decent park. Nothing too special.
