Always great to see so many youth sports. Bathrooms are fairly clean for a public park. Great food truck concessions usually present for baseball tournaments. Good shade! Dog friendly.

Great place for my kids to scooter and all the kids there were as nice as could be to my little ones.

It is a nice facility with lots of sport options. And the restrooms are clean which is a plus. However, there were a lot of activities Saturday and not sufficient parking.

The recreation center is small and held a few rooms for classes. But it is a decent size. The soccer field is great. They also have a decent size skate park

The City of Chandler has let the baseball fields degrade dramatically. Fences are in need of repair before they fall, dugout covers are ripped and tearing away, and bleachers in disrepair. Come on Chandler....most of these are inexpensive repairs that can be done by the extra staff if 6 that I see standing and watching 2 people work.I have been to Goodyear, Peoria and Glendale ballparks and they are kept in top notch shape.

Had a great time with my sons baseball team as they had a scrimmage here.

This is the best place for kids to learn before they go to Kinder. Teachers and Staff are awesome. They give full attention to kids.

Its a excellent venue for baseball and other recreational activities, the only reason for 4 stars is because its so far away from the west valley. If I lived in the east valley Id definitely give it 5 stars.

Although softball games had to wear mask and have a COVID protocol, baseball games on next field had no masks or protocol.

Gave it a 3 star only because I have kids under 8 . It was first time here and the obstacles difficulty is mid level and does not have any street obstacles, all according to them.

Great facility but the fields are super dry and dont get watered down, so every play a huge cloud of dirt chokes and blinds the players. Seriously. I have never seen fields so bone dry. Restrooms totally ran out of toilet paper too.

Nice fields. It would be fantastic if a map of the recreation area was displayed. If there is one, I havent noticed it the 3 times Ive been so far.

Great Skate Park and Sports Facilities.

My Husband and I took our kids to the Family Easter Celebration yesterday, April 20, 2019. We didn’t get to see much of the entire Snedigar Recreation Center, however, what we did see looked really nice and clean with a big jungle gym for the kids. My Husband also stated the bathrooms were clean which is always nice to see. There’re many parks with dirty, stinking bathrooms. We may bring the kids back one day to play at the park since they didn’t while we were there.

I go there for my gymnastics and yoga they also have a skatepark

A well-lit and safe public parks area where a woman can safely get in a nice walk without fear. The cement sidewalk walking path is well lit and clean bathrooms are at the entrance. Its also a great place to walk pets or bring children to use the playground area. Cant say enogh great things about this park. From soccer to baseball this is a great complex for various teams to play and the grounds are very well taken care of, great bathroom facilities, food sold on the weekends. A winner for this community.

Went to watch grandson play in a tournament game, and had never visited these ball fields before. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, plenty of trash and recycle bins and restrooms. At ball field 1 there was limited bleacher seating but we had brought our own chairs, pop up shade and cooler with water and snacks. A commercial vendor came in with a truck selling BBQ, hot dogs, snacks and assorted munchies which were OK, not Food Channel-worthy but definitely edible. We saw the skate park area coming in and it seemed very well-constructed and designed. This venue is a large city-operated sports and community complex, and we did not have time to go around and see all the facilities there. There was plenty of parking, well-laid out and we didnt have to walk long distances to get where we were going. The city of Chandler has indeed done an A+ job on this facility.

I rented a facility at SRC. I had a wonderful experience, the staff was knowledgeable and very supportive. The facility is well maintained and clean.

We had birthday party here, very good place. Staffs are very nice. They arrange chairs and tables as per your instructions and you can request for more during the event, no questions asked.

This is big park. Nice place to relax or get some exercise for you and your dog.

I love how big and open the park is! Great for sports and family outings! They also have a dog park that is nice and has different dog course training aids.

Friendly staff. Wonderful teachers, instructors. Great experience.

Parking was horrible. Im sure this was due to opening day, but its too bad theres not some overflow or good directions. Speaking of which, some larger, more prominent maps/signs for field locations would be helpful. Plenty of vendors were available which was nice.

Sick park!

Snedigar has a pretty awesome baseball park! The fields are nice and theres covered seating. It would be nice to have the bleachers covered, but at least there are bleachers there. The restrooms are in okay shape and the parking is convenient. There wont be concessions with evening games - Im not sure if they have concessions other times, so be sure to bring your own drinks/snacks/food!

Skatepark is closed every last Wednesday of the month for maintenance but there is never maintenance needed.. maintenance crew will still close the park (or never open it) to do absolutely nothing.. Just a bummer to see gates closed with nobody in there working.. Maintenance crew will be out there with leaf blowers on rainy days to attempt drying the concrete faster.. Redemption

A good location for everyone in the southeast of Chandler. This facility has a variety of ball fields, dog park, skate park, a decent size rec center and there are playground toys for younger kids too. They have events throughout the year at the facility too. Its well worth the trip to go and see how large and diverse it is.

Even though it gets busy at times Snedigar is a great place for a variety of activities. We used to go for soccer. Now we go for baseball and compared to other baseball sites Snedigar is great. Bathrooms are clean and close. Skate park is great. Nice lawn and covered seating areas. Love it

Large park area with lots of fields for baseball, soccer, & football. Nice skate park and dog park and a few playgrounds. Only one bathroom facilities which can be quite a walk depending on where you are in the park. Lots of parking spread out throughout.

Great city park for soccer and baseball. Nice facilities for a public park. Parking can be quite limited at times.

The soccer fields are poorly maintained, and goals are broken. Someone should advise the city that holes in soccer fields from ground burrowing animals results in unnecessary injuries.

Grass covered multiple play grounds, night lights and with all basic amenities. This also has nice pathways for walking.There is kids play area with required safety measures. So park is built to enjoy for everyone.

Playground equipment has over 15 huge spider webs. These were black widow webs as well. No public restrooms.

Great fields, City of Chandler does a great job maintaining. Once they put up lights on East fields for soccer I would say no more needed. Either way the city does an outstanding job and always improving to meet the needs of the community. Perfect for soccer, baseball, softball, skateboarding and community events!

Nice park, lots of open fields and usually quiet in the afternoons; though it could use some bigger treas. Its busy Sat mornings with kids sports which also means fields are overused with bald or muddy patches.

Its walking distance, I love the playground for my 3 yr old, and they have nice staff in the office and a restroom.. Perfect for when your potty training but still need to get playground time

A very nice ballpark with well-maintained fields. Each field has shaded stands and dugouts, but also allows for additional EZ Up styled to be used. There is ample free parking close to the fields.

Great facilities. .playground areas as well as ball fields. A great multipurpose park.

Remodel of this park and adding the concrete pathways have made this a better experience to visit! The dugout and all major walkways revived this much needed improvement. Used to be the dusty and dirt bowl, now its a contender. Need more restrooms added and the current ones updated. At least six ball fields with all the players, parents, coaches and spectators the lines can get long and the walk can be far depending on the field your on. There is also a skate park that is large and interesting for novice skateboarders and scooters to experienced. No on site amenities however there is a food truck on tournament weekends. Smoked chicken bbq nachos are the best!

This park was named after fallen Officer James Snedigar. It has baseball, softball and soccer fields. It also has a skate park and a dog park. It has a recreation center and offer activities for chandler residents.
